Aspects is a full-service face and body works salon in downtown Pacific Grove. I came in for a 90-minute full-body massage from Nikki last week. She is very broadly trained and client-focused. After listening to my body needs and exercise habits, Nikki customized a very much-needed therapeutic/recovery massage with a focus on relaxing my overused muscles. She catered the pressure to my liking and her technique relieved some very sore muscles of mine. She has a wonderful healing touch and an affinity to help others meet their wellness goals. Aspects offers a variety of facial and bodywork massages, waxing services and skincare treatments (microdermabrasion, chemical peels, exfoliation and body wraps) in a very comfortable and relaxed setting. I broke two of my nails and Nikki was able to squeeze me in at the end of the day. She took her time to make sure I left with my nails fully repaired so that I would not injure them any further than I already had. She really went over and beyond what I had asked or expected. She was also very pleasant to chat with, which made the time go by fast for me. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone who is looking for her services, because she makes you feel pampered instead of just another customer that has to be serviced quickly and rushed out. I found Aspects on Yelp while planning a getaway. So glad I found it! Aspects is tucked away inside the little mall, a few doors down on the left. Nikki is such a sweet woman. We filled out the brief form. She listened to where our concerns were and the desired outcome. She delivered exactly what was asked for with focus and firmness. The music was perfect. Her application of pressure, focus, it was all just so great! She even noticed some other areas I wasn't aware needed needed attention! She is professional, caring & great at what she does! My Story: I have suffered chronic neck and upper back pain for the last four years following a car accident. I've sought any treatment that offered a hope of relief - chiropractics, acupuncture, physical therapy, pain management, etc. I have even been to a few other massage therapists, and while those massages felt nice and relaxing they did not make much of a dent in my day-to-day pain. I enjoyed my massage here, but I would have enjoyed it more if it weren't for Nikki's long fingernails. I did not enjoy the sensation of being clawed. I received a Groupon for a massage for my birthday. Well, I am not totally into massages and love facials so Nikki had no problem switching out the deal for me so that I could receive a facial instead. Boy was I in heaven. Once I went here, I never looked back. Not only is Nikki an all around awesome person and kind heart, but she knows what she's doing. She always politely asks me if any areas need focusing on for a massage, but I don't even have to tell her because she intuitively knows where my body is at and what healing is needed, it's an innate skill she has. Nikki is flexible and employs extremely gentle techniques to cleanse the pores. Her skin line of choice is rich yet light enough to thoroughly moisturize even the thirstiest skin (mine). While I struggled to get a call back to schedule my first appointment, I really enjoyed my 3 groupon facials with Nikki. She is friendly, warm and professional. She assesses your condition, progress and aspirations tailoring each treatment accordingly. The table has amazing heated blankets to keep you toasty warm. Her studio I quiet, dark and peaceful. I purchased a groupon for both my husband and myself. We both LOVED the massage. This gets a two star because i then purchased 2 more groupons, one for my son and one for his girlfriend as gifts. After my son attempted FOUR times to schedule these groupons with no return call, I tried another SEVEN times myself to schedule appointments for these two. NO RETURN phone calls. Groupon refunded in full after just 20 seconds on the phone with them. Go Groupon but I am extremly disappointed in this practitioner. The massage was one of the best I've ever had. If only she would return the 11 phone messages over the last 3 months. Very simple gesture and kind of a basic in running a business one would think? This would have been 5 stars. Aspects is great and I'm really glad I found Nikki. I had originally bought my wife a gift certificate from Groupon. I do a lot of running and had injured by IT band, before my wife's appointment, Nikki had no problem switching everything as appropriate from my wife to me. I made a number of appointments afterwards and have now worked out this IT band issue. Nikki really helped on this re-hab, not only was I missing out on an activity I enjoyed but was in pretty constant pain after injury. Nikki was integral to fixing this problem. I really enjoyed the location because parking is easy to find on the street; her studio is very comfortable and relaxing. Most importantly Nikki was really friendly and listened to me. I enjoyed conversing with her while she worked on my re-hab and if it wasn't for the fact I'm in the Navy and transferring out of the area, i would continue to book appointments with Aspects indefinitely. read more

I was able to schedule a 90 minute massage with Nikki. I was having terrible neck and back pain and she worked wonders. She was very knowledgable about the body and focused the massage to my needs. She had great pressure and really worked my muscles. She did such a great job, I rescheduled another massage the following week.
