The equipment was in good condition and they had many options for us. We had stopped in the Aspen store as we were staying in Aspen but we wanted to ski Snowmass. They suggested we just pick up our gear in Snowmass as it was right at the bus stop. It worked perfectly. Thank you Incline Ski Shop for a great experience!

My fiancé who is an intermediate skier went to buy boots there because of the famous Jack Rafferty…read more Jack pulled a boot that was the same size as my fiancé's rental boots which fit well. Jack then decided there was nothing more to do, not even heating the shell which was supposed to be molded, and sold the boots which DID NOT FIT. He made ZERO effort to fit the boots. The boots ended up cutting off my fiancé's circulation. I was a racer, I know boots should be tight, but they should not make your feet go numb and certainly not for leisure. Fortunately, Aspen sports did the right thing and took the boots back. However, Jack's ego is far too big. He might be a great boot fitter but I guess he decides to whom he wants to be a good fitter. Will never go there again. We should have listened to the ski instructors and ski patrol who do not think highly of Jack. He only cares about his pros. Go elsewhere!

Best tuning, demo and ski shop in Snowmass!…read more Have been coming to Sunset for more than a decade every time when in Snowmass for a tune, but demo'd/bought skis this time, and had a great experience. Nick and Brandon are incredibly knowledgeable, and were able to help me and my sister get off 20 year old skis. They were great at guiding us on close fits, which we demo'd and then gave us very good pricing. They talked through pros/cons of each board and bindings, and were patient and listened/asked good questions. They even are shipping new boards out east. They applied demo rate to purchase. Had come here first 15 years ago with a bad ski needing repair and bring skis to them every year when back in Snowmass for a good tune.

The front cashier failed to activate my lift ticket and when I purchased a ski jacket, another cashier did not remove the anti theft tag. Both issues caused delays the next day. Then one of the boot fitters had explosive anger issues and was completely inappropriate towards my family. That's 3 different staff members who were incompetent and wildly unprofessional. Plus, the gear I rented looked warped and not maintained (ie boot bindings hanging off).

The baristas were nice, especially the German lady, but there are a lot of people behind the counter hanging out. Maybe they were waiting for a rush. There are two sections where you can buy merch, but I only saw one salesperson, helping a customer to fit skates on. The rest were tourists looking at merch, but really just hanging out to have a warm drink and to sit somewhere. Nothing fancy, but maybe that's all this place needs to be.
