I hired ken to repair leaks around my chimney and repair a broken shingle on a dormer. I paid Ken…read moreafter the work was done. Ken noted that he could not guarantee the fix on the chimney since he was not able to inspect under the flashing. I told Ken I was willing to have him back out to further repair if it continued to leak. A week or two after performing the work, there was still a small leak around the chimney. After numerous attempts to contact Ken I realized he had blocked my number. After further inspecting the work that was done, it was of extremely poor quality - lacking skill in the trade. The shingle was not fixed either. The NP1 sealant tube (trash) was also left on to of my chimney. I was willing to give Ken additional work originally. I now realize he's only out to take advantage of people. ​ I do not recommend SCNEV as a roofing service or for any ethical business practices.

I've been in touch with Brandon the project manager and have not heard back from him. My thinking is he is too busy, I know he went on vacation. But his helper Gabe was to fix items that were reported outside right from the beginning. We found on our visit nothing was done. Excuses prevail. Today I am reporting the issues to SK builders to see what the heck! They have been very responsive in the past. In fact I texted the realtor Nate Herb how great Brandon was in response to showing up and getting some things done in the past. Perhaps he and his helper are probably so overwhelmed no longer can they address the remaining issues. Not happy. We will see what happens after this post. Called the plumber no return call.
