Worst dental experience I've ever had. I went to Aspen Dental at 5300 Hickory Hollow Ln, Nashville, TN to have my two front teeth repaired. When the procedure was finished, I looked in the mirror and was shocked--one front tooth was noticeably longer than the other. When I politely asked the dentist to fix it, she became visibly frustrated, started aggressively filing my tooth while sighing, and then said, "There's nothing more I can do," before leaving the room. The dentist and nurse were both very unprofessional. When I pointed out that my teeth were uneven, the nurse rudely told me to "spend more money and get veneers" instead. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, they made me feel like I was the problem for speaking up. The only positive part of my experience was the office manager, who was kind, professional, and genuinely tried to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, the attitude and behavior of the clinical staff completely overshadowed that. read more

This is the worst service I have received at any Aspen Dental location. They are extremely unhelpful on top of the passive aggressive communication that comes from them is beyond me. I expect more from a medical facility. I highly DO NOT Recommend! It was the first time I just flat out walked out of a facility even though I was in extreme pain from a cracked tooth. I chose to continue to be in pain then allow these people to touch me. Do better. I recommend this team to train a bit more on how to approach conversations with empathy and start in a place of what you can do for your patients versus what you can't do and then just stand there and stare at someone or just straight up go silent over the phone when your patient asks you additional questions about what CAN you do?! read more

Went with one painful back tooth, asking for extraction. They quoted $165. for extraction and free exam. Exam was free, then they wanted to remove 9 other perfectly good teeth because, "They'll go bad eventually" and replace with implants to the cost of over $8500.00. They never did anything about the painful tooth. read more

When I came into the office I was in a lot of pain and thank God Ms. Woodland was available. She helped me with the speedy process for it to go very smoothly. Lastly her customer service was amazing and she most definitely deserves a rise we need more of her around. The quality of care I could certainly use that and be back again. The worst dentist in Tennessee I when there to get implants and I'm a diabetic no one ask me about my Ac1then I told the lady that trying to numb my gums with the shots in my gums because they wouldn't dead it that way she insisted that the shots in my gum would work after about 2hrs with me jumping and bleeding all over the place she decided that she couldn't do II after she cut my gums and drilling because I couldn't be still that happen I July 24 and my gums are still sore so I don't know what to do my gums are messed up so bad I can't wear my dentures SO DON'T GO TO ASPEN DENTIST FOR NOTHING CONCERNING YOUR MOUTH read more

Have been in for a dental cleaning and a filling. Both appointments had wait times of over 30 minutes with one being an hour. Customer service and service overall was good but this place definitely overbooks for the staff they have currently, which disrespects their patients time. read more

I was undecided on whether or not I was going to leave a review for Aspen Dental but their inability to answer the phone or have their locations answer the phone is next level ridiculous. I am unsure how you are suppose to run a successful business while allowing customers to be forwarded to voicemail for days at a time? I went in for a routine cleaning and as I'm sure everyone else reading this review has heard I had "gingivitis" and a cavity. I really wish I would have done my research before because there are plenty of people now saying that this is Aspen's way at a cash grab on a majority of their customers. On the date of my cleaning my appointment was suppose to start at 2 and I wasn't even taken back for x-rays until 2:45. This is when I was told I wouldn't be getting a cleaning because I had gingivitis and would need a "deep cleaning". They then booked me out for a gingivitis cleaning, and then had me come back AGAIN for a filling and deep clean. At this point I had already spent a chunk of money and realized it was too late to go back because they had used up 850 of my allotted 1500 in dental coverage for the year. Now my filling is VERY painful in the gums and I believe it was either done incorrectly or maybe needs a minor grinding. But guess what, I have attempted to contact my office for 3 days and haven't been able to get them to answer the phone once. Don't try to go through Aspen's customer service either, they will tell you they are sorry, attempt to call the office, get denied and then bounce you to a "scheduling assistant" who will call the office and be denied again and then assured you the office will reach out for scheduling. It is just sad when large corporations take advantage of people either new to the area or do not have a long standing dentist and then treat their customers like this. Honestly this is the worst service I have ever received in my life and couldn't recommend a place less. This is my 2nd review in my life so I really hope anyone that reads it takes it very seriously and looks for dental help elsewhere unless you want to get financially or physically screwed over. read more

Brand new patient here. 1st appointment is at 1030. I show on time, check with the office admin and begin filling out paperwork. I'm done after a few minutes and am told to wait. I wait 45 mins before being called back - no apology or explanation. When I ask, I'm told "we're running a little behind this morning." Almost an hour is more than a little behind. Then we commence to take X rays etc as new patients need. All this is fine. I'm taken to the exam room where I'm asked to wait again. Another 15 minutes go by. During which time the office admin is in and out having difficulty verifying my insurance coverage. I call my insurance company myself and the rep immediately verifies my coverage. I hand my personal cell phone to the admin so she can get the info as quickly and easily as possible. She concludes her conversation and hands my phone back. The provider arrives and says I need a filing and some extra work in addition to just a cleaning. For teeth that were cleaned and checked out just fine 6 months ago? Hmmm okay, it's possible.... Admin returns again. She still can't verify my insurance? I have to call Tricare back. Again. I put the rep on speaker phone and we both talk with her. She verifies my coverage but says different things than the first rep. This is obviously adding to the confusion. 90 minutes into this and no teeth have been cleaned. I'm told that we can either start now or I can come back later. Since I only took half a day off work, I have to come back later. I schedule for their 1 Saturday per month. Great, no more missed work time. 2 days prior, I receive a phone call that they're short staffed and cannot see patients on that day. I'm forced to reschedule and miss more work. I still haven't gotten my dang teeth cleaned. We'll see how that part goes. ‍ read more

Do Not go here! they will give you false information about your conditions just to get you to spend more money . Was given the wron procedure to the wrong tooth and they failed to take accountability for it. They in fact tried to act like they did nothing wrong. Gerald was very rude to me when I was explaining my situation after I had to come back in for my X-rays and asking them do do things that they stated they would do. Went there to have infected molar removed have dental insurance After getting an estimated bill for $8000 on "needed" dental work, I opted to just get tooth pulled. Then I get an estimated bill for over $350 with insurance, then I'm told the dentist can't do it there but I can go to a different office. I was appalled by the "cost" with insurance. So I search for a "real" oral surgeon and not only did it take 15 mins to pull tooth it was completely covered and no co-pays!!! Routine cleaning scheduled for 8.8.22 at 7:30am. Received an appt reminder and I noticed that my appt was at 9:00 am. Called the office and asked was told, "oh the office hours changed". I asked when and there was no response. I asked, did you call your patients that had booked appts and let them know in advance. response, I don't know. So I rescheduled for today Routine 6 months cleaning, at 7:30 and I was told that my portion was 112.00. I said, this is just a routine cleaning and covered by my insurance. I was then told it was a Deep Cleaning and that my portion of that was 112.00. Again, no routine, I was told that the DDS has this as part of my treatment plan. I have already been there twice before for a routine cleaning and now it is a Deep Cleaning? I have not seen the DDS here since my original appointment last year. I passed, this is beyond comprehension. I probably should have done more research on Aspen before switching to them based on hours and convenience. Just Be Aware! read more

Went to Aspen Dental this past week. They did X-rays and the hygienist looked around in my mouth and said I need a few fillings and a deep cleaning. The dentist comes in afterwards and tells me I need a root canal but they don't do it there so they'd refer me out. She also says I need several fillings and they can do it all that day but I have to talk to their manager about how much I have to pay. The manager sits me down and lists all the things that I'd need to get fixed and proceeds to tell me that I would have to pay almost $5K out of pocket! I wasn't gonna pay that lol so I left. I ended up going to a different dentist. They told me I don't need any fillings. They did deep cleaning for less than $600 and said I don't need a root canal as well. So Aspen Dental is a ripoff! They are trying to get as much money from you as possible so they will lie to you and tell you that you need more work to be done on your teeth. read more
