When I returned to remove it and place the new one I told him I was still in pain and essentially no response. He removed the temp wiped my mouth (without assessing if something else was wrong) and seated the permanent bridge; I've been in pain ever since. The next week I returned and he announced he wanted to do several root canals- to solve the pain problem, I was devastated. I had paid thousands of dollars for a bridge that has hurt to this day and he wanted to do more expensive and painful work. I've seen several endodontists who are unsure which tooth may need a root canal or if that would solve the problem. The prognosis for complete recovery and pain free status is not good and in fact could be this way the rest of my life I do not recommend this dentist or practice. They refused to refund the money for the bridge. Terrible work and customer service.

A former dentist found decay under a crown on xray. Dr Quinttus would pry the crown up at dental…read morevisits with his instruments to observe it. This is ignorant and promotes further decay. He attempted to recrown the tooth. He fractured the tooth severely during the recrown procedure $$. Because of this, Dr Quinttus caused the tooth and jaw to abscess. Dr Quinttus root canaled the tooth 4 months after the crown $$, and then pulled the tooth the very next day $$. Charging me money for each failed procedure. Dr Quinttus never took xrays during any of his procedures. I had to go through several rounds of antibiotics for the abscess, jaw surgery to remove the abscess by a surgeon, and bone grafting of the jaw by a surgeon. I also have permanent nerve damage in that area of my face. Dr Quinttus started to fill an early abscess fistula with an antibiotic to which I'm severely allergic. I had to remind and explain this allergy to him multiple times. He doesn't check your medical chart. Dr Quinttus never communicates his steps or plans of action. He performs the procedure and walks away. He has zero dental skills or communication skills, which is a very dangerous combination for a dentist. By the way, I am writing this review 9 months after Dr Quinttus extracted the abscessed tooth. Due to Dr Quinttus: I suffered jaw bone abscess, continue with severe jaw pain, continue to suffer with problems speaking, and continue to suffer from numbness of the teeth/gums/cheek/lip in that area. Due to Dr Quinttus: I had to miss several days of work. This whole episode was a nightmare. And I still suffer from his damage. Do not go to Rahn Dental! Dr Quinttus is very unskilled, very unprofessional, very dangerous, senile, and needs his license removed immediately. He and Rahn Dental are only out for money. I really appreciated the care I received during my appointment. However, my experience at the front desk was disappointing. The front desk staff member was rude and disrespectful, and the interaction escalated enough that another staff member stepped in and helped resolve the situation. The way I was spoken to made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. I can't say for certain what motivated it, but it did leave me feeling that I may have been treated differently. I'm sharing this because I value the clinical care here and hope the front-desk experience can be improved for all patients.

I can endure great pain and have tolerated everything a dentist has thrown at me and never complain. I saw John Gallagher at Yankee Dental. Right away I were put off by his bad energy. He walked into the room, didnt introduce himself, didnt ask how I was doing.. just cold, negative, and dark. He gave me the standard sedative and began workin. During the process he dumped some kind of chemical in my mouth. They did not perform a suction of the loose chemical setting in my throat. I accidentally swallowed some and proceeded to gag. The chemical tasted similar to that of chlorine. it was very harsh and caused uncontrollable gagging. They still did not offer me any rinse or suction. They proceeded to let me gag on the residue. When I finally was able to lay back , I gagged a little more as John attempted to drill and he threw his hands up in the air out of complete frustration.. he was very irritated and showed it visibly. i've never seen a dentist act so rudely or inconsiderately with lack of care or concern for their patient suffering. My gagging really perturbed him and he walked out of the room. He didn't say anything. He didn't act like he cared about my suffering, and he never offered her a rinse and a suction. He continued to let me gag on the chemical. My spouse had to ask for the aid to give me water and suction. Still, I did not complain or say anything. I noticed he was very rude to his female staff, too. He talked down to his aide. It really offended me to hear him talk down as if she is a slave to his authority. To be honest, I've never encountered a dentist so heartless or incompassionate. 40 years of heavy dentist work and zero problems with any dentist and John tells me I have to go somewhere else because I'm too difficult to work on. If you choose this dental facility... avoid John Gallagher at all costs. Unless you just enjoy abuse with lack of compassion. I never leave review... especially negative ones.
