This place is a total sales scam. I felt like I was at a bad timeshare presentation. My wife and I recently moved to the area and have always taken good care of our teeth and we've seen our Dentist out of AZ every six months for the last 10 years or so. They've never mentioned anything about periodontal disease. We go to this place and all of a sudden both my wife and I are diagnosed with periodontal disease with treatments every three months and thousands and thousands of dollars. We were shocked. Thank God, we got a second opinion ... found out our teeth are just fine. Matter of fact, my wife got an A+ from our new dentist. They said absolutely no sign for either one of us of periodontal disease. Getting back to our initial appointment with Aspen dental. I should've known better when I was in the waiting room and they were discussing with an elderly gentleman how much his care was gonna be and how he can make payments and he said I still can't afford it. Horrible experience with Billing. In 3/2025 I went in for a cleaning and was told I had a balance of $503 from a denture I got in approx 8/2024. I'm on Medicare and a fixed income. I would never get a denture if it cost me. I was never told about the $503. When I questioned the charge someone in the office looked from her position and said because I got because a more expensive denture. I have been disputing this charge since 4/4. I called billing today and was told my case was closed because the office manager left a voicemail on 4/4 and I never called back. Total lie, I have all my deleted voicemails. Horrible customer service. My case has now been referred to a regional manager. Bottom line, get your billing in writing before receiving their services read more

My mom went here and she was told she had to clear up her gingivitis before they could do a deep cleaning. Then, after she did that, she went back and had nothing wrong and the dentist told her, "well I have to write something down." This place is a rip off, designed to screw over people and rob them. This is purely for profit and they see you as a walking dollar sign. They are not here to help, they are here to bleed you dry. My stepdad went and had the same experience of them writing down a bunch of "issues" that no dentist of any moral fiber would ever even consider an issue. The Dental Exam was indepth and extremely thorough. A great dentist with a personality. However; to do an actual teeth cleaning was beyond reality. The dental hygienist had given me a price which was so fictitious and unrealistic that I needed a Cardiologist!! This organization has Bad Habit of Overcharging It's patients. Stay away from Aspen dental. I went in for top denture, they said my insurance covered 100% I made it clear that if it didn't I wouldn't be interested, so a month later I get the bill, they said they upgraded the type of denture so I have to pay for it. They lie and the rip off! read more

Had a deep clean and the hygienist was fantastic. At the time of booking, I was asked to pay in advance $2,000 plus and then was never scheduled for my follow up treatment. When I contacted the front office, I was spoken to so rudely, so I requested a refund on the advance payment that I had made. The office member simply stating that the employee that I had booked with was no longer available and that it wasn't their problem, having to prepay for dental treatment and then wait for 3 months with no follow up. I wrote my entire story below but Basically, to sum everything up, do not go to Aspen dental in Bullhead city unless you want to pay to be tortured , be made fun of in front of your face and met with snotty attitudes. I understand people sometimes have bad experiences at places, but this was absolutely insane. Do not ever go to Aspen dental!!! I have been in horrible pain for the past five days with a tooth ache...I called Aspen dental and asked if they could pull my tooth for me. They assured me they could, and booked me for an appointment. I show up for my appointment and I was in horrible pain expecting to get my tooth pulled and taken care of. They made me pay $40 for x-rays and for the dentist just to look at my teeth and tell me that I needed it pulled ( I knew that already ) I told the dentist that I was here to get my tooth pulled where the dentist then told me that she was busy and wouldn't be able to do it today, so I booked an appointment for the day after that. I show up the next day for my appointment expecting to get my tooth pulled. Once again they make me pay as soon as I get there $250. they take me back and start to numb me up. The dentist starts to try to pull my tooth immediately after and that's when I told her that it was hurting, and I would need more anesthetic, I couldn't believe it when she seemed so annoyed and started making jokes to her dental assistant about how I was in pain and needed more numbing. As I sit there waiting for the anesthetic to kick in listening to the dentist and the dental assistant continuously making jokes and making small talk about their personal lives as I'm sitting there in pain and getting no help. Finally the dentist tries to pull my tooth and even though it hurt I let her continue so I could get out of this horrible office. IT HURT SO BAD. I finally told the dentist that I may need more numbing because the pain was nearly unbearable, once again I was met with a snotty attitude and more jokes to her dental assistant. The dentist continues to try to get my tooth out even though I kept telling her I was in so much pain, but I was letting her continue because I wanted out of this office. She gets my tooth halfway out and tells me that she thinks I should reschedule for next week because she couldn't do it and that she didn't know what to do. I remind her that I have been in horrible pain for the past few days and I could not wait until next week to get the tooth removed. I told her that my tooth was halfway out and that even though I was in pain if she just got it out quick, I would be fine. She refused and told me that she has more appointments today and that she would have to reschedule. I could not believe my tooth was halfway pulled out making it hurt 10 times more and her telling me that she could not finish the job today. I even had my mom come back because I could not believe what I was hearing, where the dentist then told my mom that she couldn't do it today because she was busy and she didn't know what else to do because it wouldn't come out, the dentist and the the dental assistant then just left me and my mom in the room after she told us see you next week! I left this office with a half pulled out tooth, bloody mouth, and in even more pain then when I got there. It was a nightmare. Not knowing what to do, I've been looked for another dentist and just drove there as fast as I could, as I was in so much pain. I show up at another office told them what had happened and they took me in immediately numbed me up perfectly and got the tooth out within 10 minutes. I just had an exam & x-rays appointment at Aspen Dental. I was pleasantly surprised with the service and staff. Starting with the receptionist, to x-ray tech, hygienist, and the doctor. Every single one was friendly, professional. They responded to every question I had, after through initial explaination of procedure. OMG the x-ray equipment was so high-tech from anything I have experienced. I have found a new dental practice that I believe I will be very happy with after my now former one, of 25 years, seemed not to care as much as before. read more

They told my that would fix her temporary denture and it breaks the minute she tries to chew then she went down there and they said she needed 200 to fix her denture, she gave them 200 to fix and it broke again,.Then she went down again and asked if they had her permanent denture ready and they told her they hadn't made it yet?? Then they said they would fix her denture again with a 200 charge? Not sure why they are giving her a hard time about her denture? She is disabled and lives on a part time income?? went in with terrible mouth pain. I knew I needed a root canal. they said I couldn't see the dentist that comes in once a month to do them until I did a series of deep cleaning procedures. I would get my tooth fixed after the first cleaning in the procedure. so I had to wait over two weeks in pain. did the first one. after taking $2000 dollars from me they didn't let me see the oral surgeon for the root canal and told me in three months I would have to pay again fir the second cleaning. I made it clear I couldn't afford another 2000 each time. the lady said take out a loan it's not my problem. later heard this is a problem with this chain. read more

This may be a great place in the future, if they ever get it together. I had an appointment weeks ago. Arrived with no one even the office. Everyone was at lunch after waiting , the staff showed up, was told all the systems were down so they could not see me. Mind you this is weeks ago. I was an existing customer who booked a 2:30 appt for a broken tooth\teeth At 2:30 Aspen Dental receptionist thought I had a "new customer appointment". Who cares? You're my dentist, I fell and broke my teeth, I have a 230 appt confirmed by email. There Is a block on their website for: broken tooth. I booked THAT appt. They didn't have time for me and suggested I go to urgent care. Or an ortho...anyone. It too much trouble for them to do their jobs. I started to cry, my teeth have been broken all day. I've been waiting for this CoNfIrMeD appointment. While I waited I watched 2 gentlemen get the bait-and-switch treatment. "Sure the coupon says $599, but not for your shape / size. I take really good care of my teeth because I've had some major tooth issues and it ain't fun! So choosing a new dentist was a high priority when I moved to BHC. My dentist back home set the bar pretty high for excellent care, so I was on the lookout for a professional dentist office. Aspen fit my expectations! The front staff were helpful and friendly, and I was impressed with the Doctor who was straightforward and very personable. But the hygienist was the best! I had wanted my first appointment to be a cleaning but was told I had to do this first checkup and then schedule the cleaning for later. Sam, the fantastic hygienist, was able to get me a cleaning while I was there- I only had to wait maybe 30 minutes, and I was cool with that! She is great, and a big reason I'm keeping this place as my dental group. They're professional and not just some guy with a DDS degree and a fresh out of the local community college hygienist and his wife's the receptionist type of place. read more

I went to a new location in Bullhead City AZ over a month ago and still have no statement of the $2400 paid. They sell you procedures you don't need and lie about the condition of your teeth.
