I had a crown put on yesterday 11/11/25 and 4 hours later it fell off I called evergreen location twice no one answered or returned my call. I come in 11/12/25 been here since 8:30 it is now 10:40 and I'm still waiting for them to put crown back on. It's not my fault that the crown fell off 4 hours later. So quick to take money but take up my time I have things to do. Just like you have a job to make sure patient are taken care of. I would give them Zero stars if I could. Horrible experience. This business (S. Loop location) advertises that it does denture repair so I made an appointment over the phone for a denture repair for my 95 YO mother who is wheelchair bound. It was a simple repair as one tooth had become dislodged. When I arrived, I was told they "most likely" wouldn't do the repair because the dentures were not made there, which shouldn't matter and was not stated when I made the appointment. When I asked if they would try to make the repair anyway I was told my mother would need to be there. I explained she had a severe stroke, is wheelchair bound, and doesn't leave the house. They refused to make the repair, I'm sure because they wouldn't be able to try to uncharge her into an entirely new set of dentures. Fuck these people who only care about making a buck. Since I have Humana Dental coverage, I was not worried about any out-of-pocket obligation for a dental cleaning; but was told by Aspen that I'd have to pay $103. I called Humana and was told that dental cleanings are totally covered; but when I told this to the finance office manager she said this was a SPECIAL PERIODONTAL CLEANING. I question this requirement and feel that they were just trying to drive up the cost to the insurance company and to me. I'm sure they'll deny it and I will go in for this expensive cleaning next month after I get my Social Security check (don't have the money now) but I won't have the other dental work they prescribed because, now, I just don't trust them. read more

I have had a nightmare experience at this office. 1. They charged me for services that I never asked for and they never explained or discussed that these services are not covered, 2. I was left in pain for weeks with a fungal infection and ulcers unable to eat and finally I was seen by the Dentist who announced that I had a fungal infection and ulcers developed because of the unfit dentures. I lost 40 pounds unable to chew and eat. The personnel is very rude and aggressive and not client oriented. The office manager cancelled my treatment and appointments because I complained for the despicable service. Based on an examination at the Aspen Dental Mount Prospect location I was told that I needed to have all my remaining teeth extracted and have dentures made to replace them. The cost was in excess of 8000 dollars. I was given information about third party financing. No information was given about how the dentures would fit or feel. To get a second opinion I returned to a dentist I had seen intermittently for 30 or more years and in whom I have a great deal of trust His office performed a complete scan of my teeth. Based on this scan the dentist vehemently disagreed with the Aspen diagnosis he said I did not require any immediate work since I was not having any issues and he also also informed me that new dentures would be I'll fitting and likely uncomfortable-an issue never mentioned at Aspen. The only work I'm having done at this time is having a filling replaced. Thanks to this second opinion I'm saving 8000 dollars and retaining most of my original teeth. read more

If I could give Aspen Dental in Antioch IL negative stars believe me I would. This place is WACK! They have RUINED my mouth. A bridge that is not sitting right in my mouth (according to a REAL dentist), an extraction that should never have happened, canceled appts not initiated by me, billing errors resulting in hundreds of dollars lost and not recoverable, no urgency AT ALL when you have an issue in your mouth. An absolute 2 year NIGHTMARE!!!!! Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT ENTER you will be sucked in and regret it in the long run! As I said I am out hundreds of $$ since they make you pay up front and overcharge you EVERY TIME, a crooked bridge (2nd one btw), I bite my lips all the time, painful cleaning experiences. First, whenever you call, you get "due to higher call volume, you may experience a longer wait time prior to speaking to a team member" They never answer. Does not matter when you call. Second, I went in for a chipped tooth, I receive a $30,000 estimate for alot of work and the tooth wasn't fixed. Said she'd fix it at next appointment. They tell you everything is covered by insurance, but when you get there, they sit you in a private room with the office manager and tell you that you need required unnecessary dental work, my estimate was $17,496.00! They won't clean your teeth unless you agree to their plan. Meanwhile they use and bill your insurance company for the one time yearly benefit of X-rays and exam. And you're done. I had a Appointment Today at Aspen 11:00 Am I got there on time there was about 3 ppl there when I arrived I checked in and patiently waited for my turn as they called the ppl that were already there about 4 ppl came in After I did at least one had no Appointment as I continued to wait I noticed that EVERYONE That came in after me was being called so I addressed this issue and was told ppl were being treated for different types of things/ issues Which I definitely understand BUT!!! If I could give this a zero star I would.Lets start with the outrageous overly expensive procedures, followed by trying to upsell unnecessary dental work. My husband and I went in for dental work, he needed a chip tooth fixed I needed a cap/Crown. $8,000 later and Yes I am Serious! They want me to get braces lmao just for $6000 more dollars. I almost fainted.So I said no! Now here's the best part, not once, twice or three times but four times my cap popped out, first three times I returned to get it fixed, I swallowed the first one, thank the lord I didn't choke.Then two more goes at it.Now this time #4 I can not get an appointment for 4 months.So my husband pays them monthly for both of us and some how I get a f@@@ing bill for $600.00 and I said my husband is paying monthly then they have the AUDACITY to send it to Debt collection Harris And Harris. I am a very dissatisfied customer. I went for a root canal in August and is currently in November still having horrible pain and discomfort. They advised to have it done again wow have a second root canal. The endodontist did not do a successful job and all prior visits resulted in gum infections where antibiotics were needed. I have already paid a substantial amount of money for an incompetent job. I don't know what to do now. I am currently trying to reach out to corporate offices to recoup some or my money and also seeking another dentist. This was my worst experience ever. I went n2 Aspen Dental office located in Melrose Park on North Ave. On my first visit I did x-rays and the consultation. I wanted to get two implants but they told me my best option was bridges, so I figured the Dr. knows best. So when I sat down with the finance person I was told my insurance will cover the bridge work but I have to pay for the cleaning which will be $600, so I agreed I paid the money after multiple trips to get the bridges fitted and comfortable to me, now Aspen sends me a bill for another 800 saying it's for cleaning, how can it be for cleaning if that's what I already paid for. Aspen seem like it's trying to cover on a mistake they made. You shouldn't tell people one thing when you not sure now you won't me to pay more when my insurance said I only should be outta pocket with what I have paid. Just so everyone knows, I have a huge phobia of the dentist! I break into sweats and everything. My experience at Aspen dental was terrific. They made sure I was comfortable and calm. I was so happy when they told me that my wisdom teeth would be removed while I was sedated. It was over before I even realized it. Thank you Aspen Dental. You guys are great! read more

I have been paying my genesis payments for a year or so now without missing, even paying more, but today I go in to be told it's $400 to reschedule since "They didn't have time for anything today" when I called to schedule today's appointment, I told them I have a tooth that needs to be out ASAP it's horrible pain, the DR refused to take that one out that was causing most pain, and kept repeating well we have to reschedule and since we need to take more teeth out then just that one, to walk in for the next visit would be $400 and if I wanted a partial that an extra $4,000 so again why was I never told any of this nor why am I even paying genesis care if I STILL HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET WHICH ITS BILLS OR TEETH AND I NEED A PLACE TO LIVE AND A CAR TO GET TO ACTUAL SPECIALTY DRs! read more

When I first arrived they tried to tell me I had not confirmed my appointment, thereforeI would have to wait or I could reschedule. I did confirm via phone and online. The staff are very kind and courteous. However, the wait times are unacceptable. The minimum wait time for your appointment is 25-30 minutes . This is the only complaint that I have . Albeit a very big complaint , it's not even a scheduling issue because I've been the first appointment and still waited 30 minutes .
