My experience at Aspen Dental has been absolutely horrible. The majority of the staff have unprofessional, nasty attitudes and get irritated easily by simply doing their job. It's disappointing to see how personal they take things when that has no place in a professional environment. Every patient deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and cared for -- but this office completely fails at that. Respect works both ways -- in order to receive it, you must also give it. Unfortunately, this staff doesn't seem to understand that. I had a root canal done on Tuesday, then called the next day (Wednesday) to ask if the dentist could also check my chipped tooth while completing my crown procedure on Thursday. That's when I found out my appointment had been canceled -- and not by me. I never canceled my crown appointment, and it makes absolutely no sense to cancel it when I just had a root canal. When I asked who canceled it, no one knew. The front desk lady showed zero care or concern and acted like the situation didn't matter. The level of unprofessionalism is shocking. On top of the poor attitudes, the cleanliness of this location is completely unacceptable. The rooms are filthy, the floors look like they haven't been mopped, and I honestly question if their tools and equipment are even being sanitized properly. For a dental office, this level of hygiene is disturbing and unsafe. I have decided to take my crown procedure elsewhere -- to a more professional dental office that actually values patients and maintains a clean, welcoming environment. Aspen Dental has completely lost my trust as a patient. Someone from the corporate or franchise office seriously needs to step in and take a hard look at this location. From the lack of professionalism to the poor sanitation and careless communication, this office is a mess. I would not recommend this Aspen Dental to anyone -- save yourself the headache and go somewhere that truly cares about your health and time. Make sure you double-check that Aspen Dental actually canceled your appointment if you no longer want any services from them. They'll tell you it's canceled, but in reality, they often don't follow through -- which feels sneaky, because it means they can still get paid for active appointments. I even have a recording of the manager confirming that my appointment was canceled, the refund amount that should appear in my account, and that I wouldn't be billed for anything else. So if they don't follow through and I end up getting an unexpected bill for a procedure I never even received, I'll be suing Aspen Dental! read more

I deal with some form of pain every time I go here. Think long and hard before you decide to go here. They are very rough on my mouth and I have had two failed root canal procedures in which instruments were left in the canal of my tooth. Both of them took a very long time to attempt but were incomplete. I was advised to have the tooth pulled because they were not comfortable with the long term prognosis of the tooth. I was then told that I would pay a lesser amount of money for a dental Implant and that no further expenses would be required for the dental implant. I returned today for part 3 of my procedure and was asked to pay another $446.20. Here is the financial pain part of the program. I spoke with a manager who spoke to her manager because I was assured by multiple people that my dental implant would not incur any additional charges. I am still required to pay the extra amount. To top off the experience, the wrong crown for my dental implant was ordered and so I will have to return at a later date to do part 3 again. Please be careful if you decide to go here for any of your dental work and get everything they tell you documented in their records so that you are more likely to have their promises kept. What they could do differently is document the promises patents are given so that we don't feel like we need to let the world know that we have to do it for them. They should reconsider the promises I have been given and honor them. I can look past annoying inconveniences but not failed promises. read more

i had to use Aspen for about 4 years due to my insurance i visited them multiple times and found it to be very tiring and unnecessary I wanted my teeth cleaned only but they insisted ( on multiple visits) of suggesting/ doing other things instead of my cleaning. I was told I had severe gum disease and quoted a very high price for continuing treatment which I dreclined. 4 years later I was able to return to my former dentist and surprise!!! no gum disease now or ever!!! I'm not sure how a company gets away with this but have heard this before. They were also very unprofessional, never explained what they were doing and slow to respond to any questions. If I could give this location a 0 star I would. The staff at the front desk at the time was super nice and wonderful and the girl who took my X-rays was also very sweet. They weren't my problem. The dentist at this location is highly unprofessional. My anxiety is bad with dentists as it is and this guys made it a million times worse. I had to get $6,000 worth of work done in my mouth and I went to this location because I heard nothing but amazing things. Boy was I mislead. Firstly, I was left in a room with this rubber piece in my mouth that I kept choking on for over 15 minutes. The dentist has music blasting so loud you can't even hear anything so even if I tried to say something, no one would hear. Secondly, the dentist burnt my cheek multiple times and never once asked me was I okay. Just giggled it off. And last, he did my 2 root canals and crowns. One of the crowns he did, did not get capped. I had a huge gap between my crown and my tooth. My current dentist said this was crazy to see that they would just let me go on with my day without making sure my teeth were properly capped with the crowns. So now I have to pay $900 out of pocket to get this crown taken off, get a cavity filled under my crown that would've been prevented had it been capped properly, and get a new crown put on. I will never recommend anyone goes to this place. Absolutely awful. Oh, and when I called on thursday (8/11/22) whoever was at the front desk was incredibly rude. Not sure if she's new but she got an attitude as soon as she picked up the phone and I was on hold for over 20 minutes and kept picking up and putting me on hold again. I got tired of it and just hung up. This place is god awful and I feel sorry for the workers who are actually nice here that have to deal with such a toxic work environment. I arrived for my first time while both their employees and dentist were running late. Not a very good first impression for a client coming for the first time. The waiting was valuable in that I was able to talk to other patients who were knowledgeable about this dental clinic. I discovered that when you are in the back with the dentist there are at least three other clients the dentist is working with. How does one dentist treat four clients at one time. I believe the work would be mediocre at best. To me it demeans all clients and makes a statement that the clients time is less valuable. I believe at the prices that all dentist charge that it's not asking too much to have the dentists focus on one patient at a time. Unfortunately, like many other businesses corporations have destroyed the quality of service. I would not recommend going to this dental office or any other that does business like this place. The prices should be a lot less for the quality of their work and service. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one was the friendliness of the female staff. It's unfortunate that they don't have the power to change the quality of service. If I could have separated the staff from the service I would have given these professional women a five and the service only a one. Then they left a voicemail saying if I didn't call back within an hour to confirm my appointment for that afternoon they were going to cancel me. WHAT??! I didn't get the message in time. I had 6 teeth distracted, 4 of them are my top 4 teeth they gave me a temp denture until my permanent one gets made, in-between this time I suffered in great pain everytime I wore this denture it hurt emincely & short story I still had bone coming out where my teeth were pulled, they finally extracted the bone, now my denture don't fit right where I they tried fixing it before realizing there was bones coming out, lol, they called me to come in to be scanned for me denture, then called me to come pick it up, when I go to get it first they hand me the sign in screen, next thing I know they say I have to reapply for a loan because the loan co took it back, I'm already paying $134 a month I can't get ahold of the loan company, I've tried calling over over they keep getting machine, aspen says since they just took part of the loan back is why I'm still paying haha, and they are holding my dentures hostage & my bottom teeth are never even got filled, they had me come in for a partial cleaning in the beginning, cleaned half my mouth then never did the other half ive never been through such bullshit in my life, now I'm stuck paying them, no permanent dentures, my bottom teeth are rotting out in the meantime, RUN don't walk in telling you to RUNNNNNN from this place, I'd say I'd give my eye teeth if I would have but I've really DID HAHA, & TRUST AND BELIEVE THEY DON'T CARE & WILL NOT HELP YOU IF THEY FUCK UP, THEY HAVE LIKE RUINED MY QUALITY OF LIFE NO SHIT! Poor customer service! An appointment scheduled over six months in advance and you get a text message the day before stating that you need to call another center for an appointment. Apparently they've lost their hygienist as well as the best Dentist they had! Dr. Bates was great! No customer service and no one cares in here. In order to get a refund, I have to wait 7 to 10 days and it's mailed! I didn't wait to pay you when I came in for service! Never again! Go anywhere else! I am very disappointed with this dental office! I have been in the process of getting implants put in and each time I have an appointment scheduled they would call me the day of to cancel or reschedule. I have been on a payment plan for this process and I have yet to barely receive any further work done for my implant process. They keep telling me Dr. S Chopra had an "emergency" or has to tend to other patients in other offices. I'm starting to think there's an underlined reason as to why MY APPOINTMENTS are getting rescheduled and no one is willing to continue the process with getting my implants put in. Each and every time I've gone here (total of 3 visits) I experience at LEAST one issue. You have to wait a minimum of twenty five minutes EVEN if you arrive on time. There's always a lack of dentists, or they are running late, so prepare to have your appointment changed multiple times. Your first visit is only a consultation, then you have to schedule AGAIN just for the cleaning. Oh, and don't let there be a need for a cavity filling, bc the dentist will tell you last minute that you cant get it on the same day (like it was originally scheduled) so you have to make an additional appointment after that... they are very disorganized at this location, and at this point I have no clue why they make appointments they can't keep. It may be best for this location to only be open a few days per week rather to perfect and please the patients they already have rather than scrambling to make things work. Other than the lack of time management, the staff is very friendly and has a positive attitude. You may have to ask several questions to get an idea of what's going in your mouth, but at least they are nice. Nobody is really on the same page at this location and I suspect I will be looking in to getting a new dentist in the near future. read more

They set up a treatment plan for me which I prepaid for and then when I went in they refused to take care of it because the x rays were not adding up with the treatment plan. The dentist was unbelievably rude to me. I asked to see the x rays. I found that they belonged to another person. Mixing up something is forgivable. The rudeness was not forgivable. Also very unprofessional that the dentist couldn't see that the other x ray did not have the tooth that I was scheduled to have the work done on. Obviously this was not my x rays. Been customer for last few years and didn't have any problems with service and care. In the August 2022 signed in for two implants and was charged $ 4,500.00 with First Dental. On August 19th 2022 screws been put in place and that's all work that has been done since then. Was told to come back in December 2022 but can't make an appointment. Supposed only one person is doing that one day a month ?? I have called, leaving massages never got single call back ! Been there in person every month and answer is always a lie that they will call me as soon as available. Once I was told that they don't have any of my information in their system. It's hard to believe anything they say and I know persons who answers doing they job but this is not normal ! I have screws in my mouth for 11 months now and no idea what's coming next ! I'm worry of my health ! Would like to complete procedures here or other Aspen Dental location ! Something has to change , give funds back to First Dental , finish procedure or lawsuit ! read more

I had a serious issue with my mouth. It felt life threatening although I know it was not. It was so bad! Anyhow I stopped in about lunch time and had to wait until they returned at 1. They were a few minutes late (so what - people are human). After explaining my issue the staff allowed me to pay and be seen. The wait room was full but they seemed to get me in very fast once I paid the fee. The girl who took my x-rays was super cool, and after seeing my x-Ray and how screwed up my mouth was she was very supportive. She seated me in the chair and made sure I was comfortable as well as staying very positive. The dentist lady came in and took a look and advised me how the whole process worked as far as getting rid of infection as well as options to move forward. Understanding I was in a lot of pain she gave me my antibiotic and told me to get back to them once I ran out. I am honestly not sure if I will use their service being I have dentist in my family back home in Louisiana, but regarding the service I received when I felt like I was dying of mouth pain - two thumbs up! These girls in this office took very good care of me, and I am extremely great full! read more

Dr Scott is very efficient and kind. I was nervous to get fillings on my first visit and wisdom tooth extractio. On my second visit. Both procedures he performed were practically painless and quick. If there was a worst rating than a one star I'd give this location. The customer service is the worst . I should have done myself a favor checking yelp first! I made an appointment a week in advance, and was told to arrive 15 minutes earlier. (8:45 for my 9am). My time conscious self arrives at 8:30, fill out the paper work and proceeded to wait. Around that time 3 more patients walk in . They all got to see the dentist and leave, and I was still seated there .Unattended to! At this point I'm getting frustrated so I walk up to the lady at the front (Naomi) and ask what was going on? Her response was, well its because I'm a new patient! which is absolute nonsense because I had made an appointment a week in advance. With that being said, I'd like to think you would want to treat new patients well so they can come back? She proceeds to check from the back my estimated wait time and comes back to tell me 10 MINS MORE!!. At this time its already been A WHOLE 2HOURS (now 10 am) I HAVE BEEN SEATED UNATTENED TO, so I decide to wait just a little longer. I watched a patient walk in and say she had a 10AM appointment and within 5 mins or so she was on her way to she the dentist!!! AND THIS IS WHERE I LOST IT! Naomi's way of resolving this was suggesting, I book for another day!!! AFTER WAITING TWO FREAKING HOURS!!. I told her my peace of mind and stormed out, never to return again. Customer service is horrible! The account manager comes off as if she knows what she is doing as far as finances as well as acting like she cares you get the best treatment when all she wants is your money. I was told on my first visits that I had GREAT INSURANCE and she kept saying it telling me they put in for me to get the TOP dentures they have (I already knew how good my insurance was because of the company I work for) She made me feel like all she see was dollar signs and not what was best for me. I canceled my appointment for a few reasons: first I'm still feeling uneasy about having surgery right now do to this pandemic, second I really feel like they are trying to over charge me & my insurance and third they just told me I'm getting a full denture set without explaining why, when it's a possibility that some of my teeth can be saved. With that being said I called my insurance company today so I can get a second opinion. I'm going to request a copy of everything they have done at Aspen and hope I do not have any issues! I've already paid a few hundred dollars out of pocket in addition to what my insurance company have paid so I shouldn't have any problems with obtaining my records(X-rays, etc etc) but who knows. Called Aspen Dental 877 number to set up an appointment to get a very loose tooth pulled. I was VERY specific that it was an extraction. I got a 1:30 appointment. I filled out the paperwork and was seen almost immediately. X-rays, then to the treatment room. The doc came in and started to talk about what she saw on the x-rays. I told her that I understood that my teeth were in bad condition and that I had already made the decision to get dentures in approximately three months. The only reason I was in the office today was to get the tooth pulled. She was very surprised and she said that this was just a consultation. She told me that I was not scheduled for an extraction, and they wouldn't be able to accommodate me anyway today because they were short-handed. Well the tooth is so loose I didn't think it was going to be a problem to just shoot novocaine in and simply pull it out. That's how loose it was. I wanted to have it done two days before New Year's Eve as I wanted to be able to enjoy the holiday. Instead I have to go back at 8 o'clock in the morning when I am scheduled for an extraction. According to what I read on their website about extractions is that it's going to have to be soft foods and no alcohol for a few days. So much for the New Year's Eve dinner that was planned. I just don't understand why they couldn't sit me in the chair and pull the tooth. The X-rays showed that it was loose in the socket and that it was no longer in the bone. So because of somebody's inability to listen to the customer , I have to suffer for one more night. You know they advertise walk-ins and emergencies. what would happen if I wouldn't have made an appointment and just walked in? Would they have turned me away if I came in as an emergency? read more

Wait time is TERRIBLE. I waited 40 minutes and decided to give up and left the office. Several other people did that while I was there as well. The woman next to me had been to the office on a previous visit and they were running TWO HOURS behind so sounds like this may be typical. Patients should be notified of this significant of a difference in their appointment times as a basic courtesy. They have ability to text appointment reminders, so they should text appointment delays as well. People are busy and can't wait around for that kind of delay! I seen this place on Google and decided to check it in hopes of a free consultation and that is what I got. They examined and assessed my mouth, told me my options, some were more affordable than others and I chose what I though was best for my budget and my mouth. They stuck to all the promises they made, made me feel really comfortable every time I went and even the doctor was friendly and made me feel as if i wasn't wasting his time when I'd ask what i'd consider general questions. Appointments are made easily here and they even have text message verification and reminders that always kept me in check as to when I was suppose to go. I actually am suppose to go to 2 more visits but have to wait until after summer (sorry). I'd recommend everyone come here because I went to another place and they quoted me seriously over $30,000, came here and got the exact same thing done for $2,500. Yes my teeth needed some TLC but hey, now I can smile confidently again. read more

In addition to that the competence of their "dentists" is among the worst I have ever witnessed. The dentist told my wife she had no issue (even though she was in excruciating pain) and that she only had 10 minutes for her appt because he had to go to lunch... Unbelievable!!! If I could I would give a zero as a rating. Please do not waste your time here. I waited an hour and half for my first appointment. I scheduled for X-rays and a cleaning. I have always been a person that stayed on top of my debts care. They advised that I needed a gingivitis treatment (which later I found out wasn't true). I went ahead and scheduled this procedure the day prior to the procedure someone from the office called and asked if I could reschedule because they had mistakenly double booked. I politely said no because I had already made further arrangements to be off work. The next day I appeared for the appointment as scheduled as well as paid my portion of the fee. Upon this they advised that the hygienist could no longer see me today as she wasn't coming in because she had been in an accident. I advised that I wouldn't be back and that I would search for another dentist. I had to ask for my funds so be refunded three times before they refunded my card.
