I Just saw these folks, today and they're all angels of mercy. I busted up my face from a fall while running this morning and I was able to get seen within 1 1/2 hours of trauma. I've had a severe phobia of "dental stuff" for literal decades (since I retired from the military), and avoided it altogether, doing the best I could with what I had. These folks were compassionate, and took the time to explain procedures and provide comfort. Moreover, they were respectful, understanding and professional. I'll be back, because I've been away too long. For folks like me- Don't be scared; these are good folks who genuinely seem to care about you as a person. Obviously, highly recommended. office experience in dental clinic is bad,they made me to wait for 15 minutes to verify my new insurance but could not Complete the verification as their insurace verification team did not responded back . Since the hygienist can't wait further there was no other solution too. Finally they cancelled the appointment as they need more time for the insurance verification. My time is wasted read more

This practice cannot keep dental hygienist. I had to change my appointment December 2025. They told me that the next appointment wasn't going to be available until May 2026. I went to the office to have the cleaning. Confirm the appointment the morning of the 630 am reminder was sent to me about the appointment yet when I got there at 9 AM I was told they did not have a hygienist available so obviously there is something going on with Aspen dental when it comes to keeping hygienist and the fact that they're not communicating with the patient so I would advise that anyone that is looking to go to Aspen dental you may need to think twice about it additionally, the dentist that was there put me through the hoops of saying I needed additional dental work when I went to go do the dental work from another office. I was told that I didn't need that and I had already paid for it so Aspen Dental is definitely having issues with hiring people. The staff should say that is C minus at Best. finally, the person that was going to check me in. She obviously was new and she was kind of going through the process. She reached over and had a conversation with a female that I had seen before which I'm not sure if she is an office manager or not, but she had a nasty I mean a very nasty disposition and that doesn't bolt well when you're thinking you're getting your teeth clean and then the customer service is horrible so Frontline a customer service is horrible. She was very aggressive and basically attacking me when I stated I never received a phone call and I could prove that, but she didn't wanna listen to me so again heads up to anyone that is going to go at least to this Aspen Dental within Concord that's beside the Brownlee maybe some of the other offices are better but I would not recommend Aspen Dental in Concord read more

Unprofessional and rude staff. Needed major dental work done and the staff was literally joking around and dancing which led to the woman who took a scan of my mouth to CREATE my dentures to make them wrong. They ended up not fitting and not even having hooks on them. The dentist literally sent me out of the office with a partial that didn't fit crying my eyes out trying to tell me "it was normal" and how i was "lucky they were going to be helping me the following day bwvsuse it usually takes time" Mind you i had the appointment for my teeth removal for over a week with PLENTY of time for them to print a proper partial. If you need a teeth cleaning I would recommend but if you need major care do NOT go here. They're unprofessional, rude, uncaring, and overall liars. Most of the staff is completely unprofessional and the dentist is condescending and judgmental. I took out a loan to spend thousands because I genuinely needed dental care and healthcare and help and Aspen dental was a terrible and discouraging experience. The reviews are right when they say this is not a great dental office chain. I had two veneers replaced there, and the dentist removed entirely too much tooth, to where the new veneers have a hard time holding. Two of my veneers now come off if I eat something too hard, and for the next ten years or until it's replaced with something, something that now will have to be anchored to the bone, I have to stay away from certain hard foods. So, a good portion of my diet is now needed to be changed for a decade thanks to this office, staying away from anything that would knock my veneers off. read more

Just terrible. Don't even try it, I have no time to explain how bad they were. They gave me an xray while I was pregnant, maybe that's something they should ask before getting X-rays because I was unaware that that was bad for my baby. They never answer the phone, and they take forever. read more

If you are considering this office for your dental care, run away. I had 4 appointments and nothing went right. It took an hour for X-rays to be done. 3 people 6 or 7 tries for impressions. Then the dentist was rude. I had been there two hours, he walks in and doesn't even introduce himself. I had to pick up my daughter from school and he told me to wait. Both Megha Aragawal and Jalin walked me out. I told them I'd be back in a few minutes. I didn't see Megha after that. Jason went over the options and a few days later I came into pay. I wanted to get ready for implants so bone grafting was necessary. That day I paid $2,756.20. The day of the treatment they said the oral surgeon looked at my Xray and determined I needed additional bone grafting and sedation. I had to pay $580.80 that day. I go in and I pay the additional cost. They were hours late calling me back. When they did Dr. Goldberg walked in and looked at my medical record. Decided he would only pull my teeth. He didn't even want to sedate me. I was going to leave when he says he would do conscious sedation. I asked for the $580 back but he said they would refund it after he does his notes. My insurance determined my portion for extractions only should be $840. I've paid $3337 and received $0 back. He added lateral exostosis to it but clearly he did not do that. It's cosmetic bone removal. The bones are still there and visible. Then there's the third Musketeer of incompetence, the regional manager, Katyann Klueh, the "only" person that can do the refund. She refuses to call me. She did one time, after I threatened a lawsuit. She lied through her teeth in my record, saying she called when she didn't. I have my Verizon call log and every page of my record as proof. She keeps sending me bills for a denture that my insurance has already paid for, I have all I need. I have screenshots, a recorded conversation, all their names. We aren't talking just a few hundred. We are talking thousands. I won't be getting the permanent denture at all so that needs to be refunded. I am invoking the money back guarantee as well. If you're here because they've done something to you that isn't right or they refuse to refund services not rendered, there are things you can do. I contacted the BBB, they have a terrible rating either way but why not add more negative reviews. They haven't sent a response to the complaint. I filed it on 3/27/24 I am sending a complaint to the NC Dental Board on Goldberg for charging for services he didn't perform. Hopefully they suspend him for a while. He should not be in health care. He is a joke of a human being. Same for Aragwal or whatever his name is. A lawsuit costs $200 in NC. It's worth it. As a business they have to have a lawyer. I have everything I need to win the case without one thankfully but I have group legal with my job for help. I kept all papers given to me. Might as well make them pay lawyer fees. See how they feel about having to pay for things they shouldn't have to pay for and wouldn't have to pay for if they did the right thing and refunded the money. Now they will have to pay for a lawyer. I'm not getting the permanent denture with them so that's $576 more they have to refund me. Pain, suffering and mental anguish will be added. ER bills for the immediate denture causing blocked salivary glands. The list could go on. I called more than 30 times, it was escalated at least 10 times. Katyann thinks she's clever or that by sending me more bills, that I'll just go away. I called my Care Credit and told them what is happening. They put a hold on my payments and interest. They are doing their own investigation. BBB is looking into them. I agreed to share my story on the news. My dental insurance is doing their own investigation. I plan to spread the story every where I can in hopes of preventing someone else from having to go through this. One of the things everyone has refused to give is their last names. Listen, I am not a huge review kind of person.... But this dental office did it enough for me to be able to do one! First off, Phylis, absolutely amazing woman. She made me and my friend comfortable and happy the entire visit. They went out of their way to help us find a place that could get us in the same day because they unfortunately only had one doctor and we need a tooth extracted asap. i'm living a nightmare!! i went to the Concord office. dr. lee pulled four 4 molars on top right away. all but one upper molar i had left.i have x-rays from another dentist a year ago. it shows no reason why 2 of those 4 molars should have been pulled. he makes a "temp" partial. the partial never fit. it was too big then he shaved it down too much and now it's loose. never have been able to wear it. dr. lee never told me these were temporary and were not for eating.... and that a clip-on denture would be my final appointment. he never told me!! two months after he pulled my 4 upper molars .... i had one molar that he left so that his partial denture would hook around my last molar. two months later that molar broke. keisha and mia will not let me talk to dr. lee and referred to me as "production." they thought it was funny and wouldnt even make an appointment to come in with a broken tooth. i've been seeing a gi doctor for awhile now and he is pretty upset that i cant chew, i have to swallow food whole which makes it harder for the gut to digest properly. dr. lee, a dentist, made it impossible for me to chew. if you have any brains at all .... stay away from this place, its straight from hell. they won't talk to me to make things right with me....they've given me one choice now, to do the right thing and let someone else judge this. p.s angela, the hygienist, spent less than 15 minutes doing a deep cleaning and charged me full price for both sides even though dr. lee pulled 4 molars. see what i mean? this is an example of their work ethic. read more

Aspen Dental in Concord North Carolina across the street from the Northeast Hospital.  you absolutely might want to think twice about getting an appointment here. I called them two days before my appointment time and told them that I was having a runny nose a little bit of chest congestion and a cough. They told me to come in anyway. When I got there the only thing they did was check my temperature, they ask me no questions whatsoever. I should have left right then and there. Because they were not following any covid protocols I do not know what in the world I was thinking. My tooth was hurting so I guess I just wanted to relieve the pain. Instead I had a bad experience in the office. When I called to make an appointment they told me I had to pay $78 in order to save my appointment time. When I got there they took me back to the X-ray room and said they were going to get a full scan of my mouth. I told the lady I just did that three months ago. what is going on? She said she did not know but she would find out. She took me back and set me down in a dental chair. I was told the dentist that did my procedure 3 months ago was gone, and no longer work there. By this time I was a little upset. She then told me that the dentist that was going to come in to see me would be the owner of the practice. When the dentist walked in he asked me to let him say the tooth I wanted extracted. I told him I would rather that he make sure that they are in the Medicare program before we did anything. He insisted to see my tooth. So I open my mouth and showed him the tooth I wanted extracted. He bent his head down and looked at it, and left the room. I was then approached by a woman that said she needed to take me back to her office for the consultation. I am very perturbed by now. I asked her what consultation? She informed me it was about payment and that it would be $383 to extract my tooth and that they were in the Medicare program. I said that's fine let's go ahead and get this thing took out. I was informed that he did not have time right now and that it would be at least 2 hours before he can get to me. By this time I was already there for 2 hours. I asked for my $78 back and I would go somewhere else and she told me that because he looked at my tooth that was an exam and I was not getting my money back. I came home and called my insurance company and come to find out they are not in the Medicare program. The place has really gone downhill in the last 3 months. The ladies room was extremely nasty. And the people's attitude there needs adjustment. read more

Worst experience with a dentist office ever. Don't go here expecting they actually care about the customer. If you have an issue that's needs resolving quickly or you're in pain, find someone else. These people only care how much money they can get out of you. I needed a simple tooth ground so it wouldn't dig in to my tongue. No can do here. They wanted to find out all the things they could charge me for rather than help me. I spent two hours in their office and they did was get xrays and try to set me up with a big dental plan. I waited 2 weeks to get an appointment and tried to get walk ins twice. The first time the receptionist was extremely rude. Do not come here! Came in for some gum pain and they told me it was my wisdom teeth growing in and I'd need to get them removed. Initial office visit was fully covered by my insurance company. They then told me I'd also need a root canal on a tooth that had a bad cavity which I knew about and also needed taken care of. When going over pricing for everything I was told the total for it all would be a little under 10k, and my insurance would cover about 7k of it. They said without everything being paid for in full they wouldn't be able to do any services, and signed me up for CareCredit to cover the last portion. When I came in for my cleaning right before my wisdom teeth removal they told me I had gingivitis which was never anything told to me from any other dentist, the cleaning seemed like a regular cleaning but then I was later told since I had gingivitis it would take the cleaning bill up $300 that I had to pay that day. The next day when I came in for my wisdom teeth removal they told me I owed $356 since things had changed with the health of my teeth, I paid it as well since the pain of my wisdom teeth was intolerable. The pain for my wisdom teeth removal wasn't getting better after the first two weeks and I called to see if I could get someone to look and make sure everything is okay and I was told their orthodontist doesn't work at their dentist office and is a traveling orthodontist and I wouldn't be able to get a post-op for at least a month, I asked if I would be charged for it and I was told no. About a month had passed and I came back in for my post-op and root canal and during check in the lady at the desk told me I owed $990 for today, when I asked for what she started scrambling picking up random papers and clicking all around on her computer before someone else came and took me in the back. He told me that they had already discussed a price change but no price change was ever verified with me, so I cancelled my last 2 appointments with them and asked if I'd get a refund on my CareCredit so I wouldn't be paying 3k on a service I never got and he told me I would in 7-10 days, it's been a little over a month and I have yet to receive any refund and my card is still trying to be charged for the CareCredit on a post-op, root canal and crown I never received. I should've known after the first random charge to find a new dentist. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

So hard to get an appointment and then they keep canceling and when you show up they keep you waiting for a long time and everything is. Upcharge, this is so expensive. My anniversary is coming up... March 17,2023 was when I paid Aspen Dental for a cleaning as detailed in my previous review & updates. I'm still out $110.00 because Aspen will not contact my insurance company to straighten it out and forfeit the money that is mine. I guess they assume that since they refunded the amount that I was coerced into putting on my credit card that I would be silent about the rest. I have contacted them numerous times since then both by phone & email and promises have been made but not carried out. Since I last spoke with them I have learned new information which just proves how deceptive they really are. If you have received or are planning on receiving care from them I would check and double check everything to make sure that everything was/is done properly and not in their favor. It's not so much about the money as it is the principle of the matter. The hygienist probably deserves more stars because she was nice and seemed to meet the standard of care but the business deserves a zero. read more

The office is clean and staff is cordial but either they aren't aware of their business practices, or they intentionally deceive their patients. Needed front tooth repaired, due to injury at work 10/1/23. Came in and explained it would be a Workman's Comp case, they replied that they would require a $1000 deposit to initiate dental plan. I specifically asked if my deposit would be credited to dental work not covered by WC (like others stated cleaning recommended and made priority) and was told yes. Went to first two visits, all seemed to be going well. The temporary crown was put in and the permanent one was sent out for. On 3rd visit they were requiring me to pay them an additional $900. At that point WC had been approved and I was told by Aspen that they did not accept WC that I would have to pay the entire treatment amount of $3200, even though they completed the medical providers section of the WC form during first visit. I would've looked for another provider who accepted WC had I been advised at first visit. Feel completely robbed and intentionally deceived. Claims Adjuster has even been involved and they don't even return her calls. Find it hard to believe that the reviews on their website are all 5 stars yet I can't leave my 1 star. Pay attention to what they tell you and who you speak with. Like previously stated, they seem to only be interested in getting your money. read more

They were very nice with getting me in with no appointment. I had an emergency with a broken tooth. The ladies there were very nice and helpful. The dentist though? Terrible. Had no manners, was very rude, said that if he wasn't able to get my tooth out because of me he would have to recommend me to a surgeon. I was laying on the table with my mouth numb giving him not a single issue. It's like he didn't want to take my tooth out. I seemed to be more in his way than him wanting to help me. Had a pretty good experience here the two times I have visited. Hygienists we're nice and professional and they did a good job cleaning my teeth. Facility was clean and organized. I will point out I had a different hygienist each time, so not what I would have hoped for. Also, the last time I went for my 6 month cleaning, the dentist didn't see me at all. Is that normal? Been going to the dentist every 6 months my entire life and never has that happened. I received a bill in the mail for $24 dollars and I wasn't sure what exactly the bill was for, as the bill has zero indication of what the charge was. I called this office, this is no lie, dozens of times over the course of 3-4 weeks. I left no less than 6 voicemails asking for someone to return my calls. Never received a call back. I probably would have continued coming to this office despite getting different hygienist each time and despite being sold to pretty hard. But I simply can't go a dentist office that is literally, LITERALLY impossible to get on the phone. read more

I originally wrote an awesome review when I first got my dentures but boy after they get your 5000 dollars things Change something happened to my bottom dentures and they needed replaced so I called the manager at Aspen to see about cost and what my options were the manager said she really wanted to help me and would call me back. That was on a Thursday no phone call Friday no phone phone call. I called Monday morning and left a message called Monday afternoon and was told she was at lunch and would call me back no phone call after spending all that money this manager did not value my business enough to return my call I was avoided and lied to I regret going there and would never recommend Aspen dental to anyone read more

They are really the worse, I been asking them to share my X-rays with my Periodontist and to send me a copy since day 1, over a month later I still have not receive them and they keep going in Circles telling me that they should be approved by their corporate office, after making many phone calls and emails I went personally in three occasions and they are still giving me the run around, I when to the office for a consultation and then for extractions, I had to agree to extract an tooth that I wasn't planing on extracting because they said that it was not the tooth they had planed to extract, ironically they tooth they wasn't willing to remove was the one giving me the most problem but they wanted to remove the tooth beside it and they said that they won't remove the one I was concerned about without removing the one they wanted, later they quoted me for deep cleaning wanted over $1,000.00 out of pocket when my insurance covers 80% I told them that even my Periodontist wasn't that expensive therefore I asked them for the X-ray and what they sent was a paper photocopy of the X-Rays that my Periodontist couldn't use. This was probably one of the worst dental experiences I've ever had. I called Aspen dental because I had excruciating tooth and gum soreness. They did get me in same day, however once I was seated they proceeded to tell me I had gingivitis ( mind you they also mentioned I took great care of my teeth so idk how/why I supposedly had gingivitis ) they told me that I needed to do a two-part cleaning (which I've never heard of) to alleviate the problem then they proceeded to walk me out to pay for said cleanings. Mind you my mouth is still in nine out of 10 pain. During check out I expressed to the receptionist that I was still in pain and ask what they planned on doing about that, she said the cleaning should help. So after they took my money she was at least courteous enough to get me in the same day. so I walked out of there at 10:30am and had to turn around and come back at 12 noon. Mind you I had no intention on taking this much time off work. Once I arrive back at 12 they do a regular cleaning hand me some mouthwash and send me on my way after about 15 to 20 minutes so now that I've wasted half of my workday I'm still in pain. They refuse to prescribe me any painkillers or medication to help and then scheduled a THIRD appointment for two weeks later. So you mean to tell me you guys want me to go buy "really strong" ibuprofen (their words verbatim) and potentially be in this pain for an additional two weeks until the next time I come in? Is this a joke?!? To top it off my roommate actually had a visit with them as well, she also expressed they asked her to come in two to three times for a simple routine cleaning, gave her the same mouthwash and express she too had gingivitis. A good experience took a turn for the WORSE. In short, my visit was to replace a crown. The $800-900 crown replacement quote from calling their online number is what brought me in. After the X-rays and exam I was given a quote of $3687 with an option to finance. Shocked at the 3x increase from the over the phone quote I asked Miranda for the cost breakdown. She obliged and gave me a print out of the itemized charges. Included was Cancer screening I didn't ask for $30, an Oral B Brush $135, cleaning of each tooth $17 - $287! I explained, "look I simply want the crown replaced". Its one job, Even the Doctor stressed that replacing the crown was top priority. However, I felt I was being strong-armed to pay for additional service because they wanted to clean and prevent which is great, but wasn't the priority or in my budget. On their website I it does state "Choice is a beautiful thing" right before stating "We'll treat you right" . Hmm... Thats not what I was getting. Once again I stated "Why can I not simply get what I asked for (crown replacement) its what Im willing to finance". Finally she gave me a price and said its $1592. Reluctantly I agreed and Miranda processed the financing after asking my home address and how long Ive resided there. She then stated im approved for $6800 of work. "Thats great, but that doesn't' mean its free money, I have to that payback" I responded. Not gonna bother mentioning the interest rate but yeah that too. The date was set for the following day (Nov 6th 2pm). Before the departure, She ran my credit which was strange because i expected that before the approval. On the drive home still puzzled at the tactic feeling finance presentation, Mirada calls and says Doc said you must do the cleaning for periodontal disease too, in order for us to treat you. Cost would be back to the full cost. Feeling frustrated I said no thanks. She was still polite as always and stated that the finance charges would be reversed. Tues Nov 6th (after my 2pm cancellation) she calls back at 5:38 pm and now stating they will do just the crown repair as I had requested now. I told her I would call back, which I did. With trust ruined and feeling like I've dealt with a shifty car dealership, how could I accept service. We went from $842 on the phone to $3652 in office, down to $2976 because of I mentioned 20% coupon, down to $1592 for requesting just the crown, back to $2976 because the doctor wanted to do additional services, back to $1592 after I would only finance for the crown which was first priority which he himself stated. LOL, Really!?! how much trust can you expect a client or patient to have at this point? Is this what you mean when your site says "we'll treat you right", Aspen Dental? No thank you Aspen Dental. From my experience, It feels like the number one goal was to force as much money out of me regardless of my prioritized needs. And when it didn't work they settled for what they could get. After all they are in it for money..... Now Im waiting to see if the practice at least "treat me right" in reversing the financing as Miranda stated they would after I declined their push to do more. Called this dentist and told them that it had been a while since I had been to the dentist and I needed a check up and cleaning. Got to the office and the staff was very nice! I got my X-rays done and was taken to the room. I thought that I was about to get my cleaning done. The dentist came in and checked my teeth for maybe 1 1/2 minutes and told me I had 2 wisdom teeth and that all of my teeth looked great. He then poked my gums to "find out what kind of cleaning I needed" he told me my gums had a little bleeding "which is normal since it's been 5 years since you've had a cleaning" but we'll do a 2 step gingivitis cleaning. I was then taken to a desk to discuss pricing (at this point I'm so confused because I didn't get a cleaning). The lady told me that my cleaning would be $700 and my insurance would cover $400 so I would be responsible for $350. I told her I was very confused because I thought I was getting the cleaning done and that I have never paid for a cleaning before in my life with insurance. She told me that the regular cleaning is covered but they wanted me to do this special cleaning. I told her that I was not interested and left with no cleaning after being there for an hour. read more
