I am extremely disappointed with the way my recent experience with your office has been handled. For three weeks, I repeatedly requested a copy of my dental records. Each time I called, I was told that the records would be sent to me before 5:00 PM that same day. Despite these repeated assurances, I did not receive them in a timely manner. When I finally received what I believed would be my records, the information sent was incomplete and not what I had requested. After calling again and demanding my actual records, I was then informed that my insurance did not cover the full cost of my visit. I would like to point out that during my visit, the only services performed were photographs and X-rays. No cleaning or fillings were done. In fact, the technician specifically told me that I would be receiving a cleaning, but that never happened. This entire experience has left me feeling that patient care is not a priority at your office. Instead, it appears that the focus is more on billing and maximizing insurance charges than on providing proper service and communication to patients. After the initial visits, including exams, cleaning, etc., the billers decided to ask for additional money and saying the payment was overdue. I called to clarify the incorrect bill to no avail. I finally had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau who could not communicate with this business because they didn't want to respond to my claim. Caution! Caution! Caution!...I would highly suggest moving to another provider like I did. Horrible billing department and poor communication among the practitioners and the patient. read more

Stay away from this dental office. Charged $1277.20 for two replacement plastic o'rings on two implants and 10 minutes time. Considering I spent $35,000 on implants and dentures, these two $.50 o'rings should have been free. After discussions with the office they cut the price to $600. Again this was two plastic o'rings and 10 minutes time. Most ridiculous prices I've ever encountered. My family will never darken their door again and I will advise anyone else to do the same. read more

I have gone here for 4 years. I scheduled an appt 6 months out- last month I realized I'd be working so we rescheduled for today (before school starts). I walk in and am informed they are "closed" and the dentist is "out." I was scrambling looking for an email, missed call or voicemail... nothing. The receptionist said, you should have received a text notification. I had not. She looked up my info and saw I "opted out of texts." Ok... when I asked why I didn't get a call/voicemail (like any decent business) she said, "we have no way of knowing who opted out or not when the messages are being sent out." She asked if I wanted to reschedule or maybe try a different location. I asked about Park road. She said, oh I can't see there schedule, you will just have to call. HA! The only call I will be making is a formal request for records.... Not sorry, I will be taking my insurance elsewhere. The market is way too competitive to put up with this crap. read more

BE VERY CAREFUL AND ALWAYS VERIFY YOUR BILL! This office charges for procedures that "have an office code" and are not recognized by the insurance company. They overcharged me by $55 and claim that it was due to a rinse that they used, meanwhile I was never told that they were doing something that they do not bill the insurance company for. Totally refused to refund me the money, and didn't even offer me a credit towards the work I needed done! I guess they don't care about losing patients! STAY AWAY. I went in for a routine cleaning in June 2022. The individual who cleaned my teeth was very rough and kept pushing additional procedures that were an additional fee. Upon the end of my exam, I asked if I had any cavities since I usually do - and they told me no. This was after 10+ x-rays. Here I am 5 weeks later at another dentist office because a piece of plaque was pushed so far into my gums during this cleaning that it now is infected. They also found numerous cavities that would've shown up on my previous x-rays. read more

If I could give a zero I would, were unrecognizable it seemed like to my pain, I told them so many times I was in pain and I got yelled at when I jumped because they stuck the needle in my tooth to the nerve and once it still wasn't working they stuck it 5 more times and I was in tears by that point then they gave up and just didn't finish the job and sent me on my way saying I was too nerves. This is not a office I would recommend anyone to. Should be ashamed of how they treat there customers. read more

I have had a really good experience with Fresh dental. I started coming here a few years ago and Both myself and my son (he is 6) have had great experiences with the hygienists and dentists! They removed all my wisdom teeth here and it was a quick and easy process! I also decided to get Invisalign and so far I am really happy with the progress! Overall, an excellent business! read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!! My daughter and myself became patients at FreshDental a few years ago. We had both enjoyed the atmosphere and the way that we were treated until recently. Last year, Oct/Nov time frame, I had my teeth cleaned. In April 2019 I called to check on my April cleaning appointment. Few days later, I was surprised to find a bill, un-itemized for approximately $289.00. I contacted the office and was directed to "Angelica". She proceeded to tell me how she was "cleaning up the books for the year" had determined that I owed the $289. I explained to her what had happened how the previous tx had been coded wrong on the insurance claim. I had already paid close to $3000 for this procedure, when originally was advised that it would only be approximately $2200, which I promptly paid, I later had to pay an additional $539.00 which I was advised was all that I owed. Dr. xxx had sent an appeal narrative to my insurance company because they were not going to pay for how she coded the original claim, and what she coded was not what was done during the treatment; nor was it allowed under my plan. I was advised to tell the insurance company that Dr. xxx had given me an implant, although she had not. During this time, from the end of my treatment with Dr. xxx and my first conversation with Angelica approx. 2 years later, I NEVER received a bill ! Angelica told me that she was cleaning up the books and that is why I received an unexplained, un-itemized bill. It was as if she had taken whatever shortages she found in their billing system and divided it amongst patients! I spent at least an hour talking to Angelica trying to explain, in which she was very unprofessional, speaking to me as if I were her friend or as if she had known me in a personal way and would take care of me because she understood. She has no understanding of me nor my financial situation and this is what she alluded. She was supposed to talk to one of the owners, in regards to clearing that $289 off my bill. I never heard back so assumed it was taken care. I did not receive another bill , nor did Angelica attempt to contact me to give me the status of the correction to my bill until I called to schedule my April 2019 cleaning. I asked to speak to Angelica after learning that the $289 was still on my bill. Angelica called me, I called her back, and then she texted that we were playing phone tag. Due to work requirements I was unable to immediately call her back and then onApril 21, 2019, I received a bill for $289, itemized in my home mail. The items listed were not the original charges submitted to my insurance company, nor did I receive any porcelain crowns that were indicated on my EOB!!!! I trusted this practice to do the right thing. On 4/22/19 , I was directed to Angelica, again. She basically said that she had been waiting on me to call her back (for 6 months) regarding a receipt for the last payment that I made for ($539) The payment was made on my credit card . I assumed that Angelica never spoke to any of the owners as she was supposed to have done late last year, in regards to that mysterious charge of $289. When I spoke to her, she again was very unprofessional and speaking to me as if I were her girlfriend, asking me if I remembered our conversation late last year. She basically insinuated that I had gotten over and owed more than she was charging. How dare, she insinuate that 1) I was trying to "get over"; 2) that I needed her to do me a favor; 3) that I was ok with how she talked to me. My point is, that she is inept as the office manager and should be more professional when she is dealing with clients and should not be so familiar with clients, especially when money disputes are involved. I received a call from her early May and was told that she had spoke to the owners and the mysterious $289 charge was still valid. I asked that she bill me, to this date no bill. I am anxious that this will show up on my "good" credit and I will have to fight them again, instead of them doing the right thing from the beginning. At first I thought this issue was due to an inept office manager, but given the fact that Angelica "spoke" to the owners and they too, would not make this right. My family was regular, on time dental patients and we paid out of pocket expenses on time - except this mysterious $289. Not because the money was an issue, but because the money is not owed. I love this place! My dentist, Dr Gangliani moved here from Gastonia and I was crushed! I had to come here for an emergency filling one weekend and he was very accommodating! He got me in on a Saturday morning and did my filling. I was in and out before I knew it and able to eat in less than an hour! I went in for a Maryland Bridge reconnection and have gone in 3 times now to get it connected. Rather than doing a competent job, the doctor just keeps telling me how it's a flawed procedure and I should get an implant. While she isn't wrong, it's a much more expensive procedure. She didn't seem to care about any part of the job that wasn't upselling me on the things she's recommended. read more

I cannot say enough amazing things about Fresh Dental near Concord Mills!! To say that I have a fear of going to the dentist and always have is an understatement. I read on Google reviews that people who also had that problem loved Fresh Dental and now I know why. I've been going to them for a while now and I couldn't be happier. They are soooo nice, friendly, and make me feel totally at ease. They make me laugh and when they talk to you its like they've known you forever. They have state of the art equipment and everything is always very clean. They even give you sunglasses so the lights don't bother your eyes. They always explain exactly what they're going to do and why. They tell you ahead of time exactly what you'll owe so there are no surprises. They call and check on you the day after if you have a procedure to make sure you're okay. If you have any issues, they'll squeeze you into their schedule. Fresh Dental Concord - I could stay right here all day - Cosmetic Dentists Near Me - Concord, North Carolina

I switched to Fresh Dental due to my insurance changing and it was close to home. At my 1st visit was told 2 of my old fillings needed replaced. Had that done then talked about composite veneers being placed on 4 front teeth. 4/30/18 had the 4 front teeth fitted with composite veneers by Dr. Ganglani - I was NOT happy with the results. Dark edges and dark spots within the veneer are very visable. I came back 3 weeks later and she tried polishing them - still the same results. Back on 6/30/18 to discuss how they were going to fix the problem and she said there was nothing they could do. Back again on 7/19/18 to talk with Dr Dunning about what was going to be done to fix the veneers, he said that they take off the veneers but didn't know what that would end up like or remove and replace with new veneers- he didn't like that option due to the surface of my teeth already having the veneer. So he offered to replace with crowns. At this point I went for a 2nd opinion and was told the only way to fix the veneers was to have them crowned. I went back again to Fresh Dental on 11/08/18 to meet with Dr. Dunning about fixing the veneers and he gave me the same options. I was quoted $585 out of pocket additional payment (after negating all $ paid for the veneers and new insurance claims) if I waited until the new calendar year for my insurance. Went back on 1/16/18 to start the crown process with Dr. Dunning and was now quoted $1700 + for the crowns. When I got upset about the new quote his reply was "this is costing me $ to fix this" I replied that all I wanted was my teeth fixed. He then went on to say that he could charge me $200 per visit for each time I had come in to discuss the veneers. I was absolutely devastated that a certified dentist could / would treat any patient this way. I am now in the process of communicating with the ADA on what the next step will be to get these veneers fixed. read more

You may call me biased because one of the docs at this practice happens to be my husband but... You should know that I dislike going to the dentist just as much as anyone else! I went in for a root canal with Dr. Dunning, who is an amazing dentist and a super nice guy! The procedure was pain free, and I felt great hours later too. I went back a couple weeks later for my crown (on a Saturday!! Thank God for weekend hours else I'd have been in that temporary crown for at least another couple months if not more) and was seen by Dr. Ganglani and his assistant Suzy. Suzy was great - friendly, gentle, and walked through each step of what she was doing. All I'm going to say about Dr. Ganglani is that he is the most caring, efficient and attentive dentist! He does everything he can to make your experience as comfortable and pain free as possible. The office is modern and at the same time serene; everything from the music in the background to the scent in the air is calming, and having a TV in the rooms - well that's a great idea. I wanted to give a huuuuge thank you to Lisa and Dr. Ganglani for their help this weekend! As evacuees from the Charleston area because of Hurricane Matthew, we found ourselves in dire need of immediate dental attention on Thursday night. Because of the storm, we knew that we wouldn't find anyone to help him on Friday. As we had retreated to the Charlotte area Friday, a friend recommended we call your office on Saturday morning to arrange for some help. We were told to come right away and after the consultation we were devastated to learn that it would cost more money than we could get together on short notice to relieve my son's pain. While we have dental insurance, we learned that because it was Saturday and we were from out of state, they could not verify it. With no choice, we left. A very short time later, Lisa called me back. Dr. Ganglani had thought about our situation and decided to do the work at no charge! I don't think you have any idea how grateful we are for your kindness and generosity. After relocating back to the Charlotte area, I was in need of a new dental office. However, with my new employment weekday availability for an appointment was very limited, So I started to look for dental offices with Saturday appointments. The few offices that came up Saturday appointments were completely book, with the exception of Fresh Dental (a new office located in Concord). I did my research on all 3 dentist and made my first appointment. Let me tell you I have no regrets. I love how they provide you with information up front and throughout the procedures. I have received a deep cleaning,root canal and have made my impressions to start invislign treatment. This has been by far one of the best dental offices I have been to here in Charlotte as well as Chicago. You can't go wrong choosing this office. Drs. Dunning, Ganglani and Johal are amazing along with their professional staff. You are greeted at the door with a great big smile from Lisa and the great experience only continues. read more

I went here for free annual cleaning and now I got a bill for $120. They did do some x-ray and stuff - the regular things any dentist do, but I never get any bill from any dentist except this FreshDental charged me for annual cleaning. It is ridiculous and these people are money greedy. How dare they can add so many items and send me the bill when they didn't do anything new - other than annual free cleaning with the Delta Dental insurance? I could go into some dentist and pay $100 out of pocket for cleaning easily. On top of $120 bill they sent my insurance paid some $500 or so for this service to them. I am going to report the Fresh Dental CLT unethical billing practices to FTC, BBB and local Charlotte city. Never go to these people for even cleaning, my teeth were so painful after the cleaning for several days. I would not even recommend if they do it completely free for any dental services. read more
