Booked a routine cleaning 6 months out. Confirmed appointment via text. Arrived to appointment and was told that they didn't think I was coming and booked another client in my spot. Showed office staff confirmation text and was told I would have to wait over an hour before they could see me. Office staff was argumentative and not willing to keep me at my original appointment time. Apparently double booking and hoping one of the appointments doesn't show up has become the standard of care at this office. This exact thing happened to another family member of mine this year. Service has drastically declined over the last year. Would not recommend going here. read more

Staff was nice but the actual dental people were awful. "Did you know you have cavities in all your teeth," was the exact question I got asked. They more or less asked if my cavities were from balimia. They told me I needed like 6 crowns. I asked for a filling and they said that based on the located I couldn't get it, that it had to be a crown. They didn't do anything, they wanted me to wait even longer to see what their plan was going to be. I left and got the filling elsewhere, because the filling was possible. I would not recommend, it was just an emergency appointment. read more

The website says they do root canals. They don't. They say they have late hours but every time I tied the schedule late they schedule it and then want me to come in earlier. The same thing with Saturday hours. They should have pulled my tooth on my initial visit.They referred me to a specialist to look at a root canal who referred me to someone else. So $1500 later I'm back to square one. read more

I was recently diagnosed with cancer and needed a dental clearance letter to show that I had broken teeth removed. I. Specifically I was told be the dentist they all I needed Was a cleaning and 3 extractions. (This was also confirmed by a he dental assistant). Went back for the cleaning and the following week I went back for the extractions. Two weeks laterall I was suppose to do was make sure I was healing from the extractions and he would give me my clearance letter. Well not out of the blue and this being the for it's time I heard this, He tells me I need two crowns before he can give me my letter. So I'm the mean time I'm behind in my treatments I was in the hosp last week for blood transfusions and now I need a liver biopsy. So if your considering go to Aspen dental at midway mall you better think twice. This guy is putting "how to get more money out of a vulnerable person" then seeing them with a cancer diagnosis. read more

My appointment was in July for a denture cleaning. It took me this long to think about what and how much I was going to share about my experience. I have been coming to this location for 8 years. My initial experience was great especially when getting dentures was a very emotionally painful experience for me. Each year that I came back for my annual "free" cleanings I was treated less and less like an appreciated patient and more like an inconvenience. My experience this year went as follows: 1. When I was greeted by the receptionist, she didn't even look up when she greeted me. 2. I sat in the lobby for more than 30 minutes past my appointment time. 3. The dental technician advised that I was not allowed to sit in the back (as I always did in the past). I had to sit in the full lobby to wait (with no dentures). 4. One hour later a tech came in the lobby calling my name holding up a baggie with denture appliances in it. That has to be some kind of HIPAA violation. 5. As I approached him, I took the bag and he walked away without saying anything. then I had to chance him down to advise that the dentures he gave to me were NOT mine. 6. About 20 minutes later the receptionist called me in the back and proceded to give me the same dentures. I advised her that that was the second time someone tried to give me someone else's dentures. (I was in tears at this point ) 7. Finally I was advised that mine were not quite ready and they would bring them out shortly. 8. About 10 minutes later I was called to the door (no privacy) and was given my dentures without a single apology. read more

Shame on you. My Dtr. came to you with and infected tooth and wanting Dentures. It is over a month and 3Rx later she has a mouth full of puss, infection in entire mouth. Can't afford $4000 for dentures now. They are waiting to pull teeth and put dentures in. (over infected gums). She is going somewhere else. She is on verge of Sepsis may need IV antibiotics. Such incompetence. Reporting to BBB an Company allowing you to use their name. You make me sick. No concern for patient just getting money. read more

My husband has an infected tooth he needed taken care of in a hurry. Aspen Dental advertises emergency services. They did get him in that day, took x-rays, his medication history and did the exam, gave him antibiotics and Motrin 800 for the considerable amount of pain that he was in. Told him to come back the next day, later in the day. Well, the pharmacist alerted us that the Motrin they prescribed could not be taken with some of the other meds he is on. It could have been a dangerous situation if that pharmacist had not earned us. And when he came in the next day, they said his BP was elevated and they couldn't do anything, that he would have to wait 6 days for a different doc to see him. Then they made us wait for 20 mins in the lobby while they formulated a "plan" for his care. We know he doesn't have the best oral health, but we were there for the emergency only. They proceeded to try to talk him into signing up for a plan that costs $12,000 to include root canals, bridges, ect. Needless to say we were refunded the down payment we gave them up front, got the x-ray copies and went to a different, private dentist that proceeded to remove that tooth for him. Aspen Dental is nothing but a money grubbing corporation that will do anything to provide minimal care at maximum cost to the patient. I do not recommend them to anyone, ever. We will never go back there. Just to add, the staff was friendly and only doing their job (meaning the attendants and office staff). And when I informed them about the mistake they made with the prescription, we were told they he should take Tylenol then. The state of Ohio has doctors terrified to offer anything stronger. read more

I've been coming here to get a crown and due to reasons not relevant, the temporary broke the staff helped get it fixed as soon as possible, and with smiles on their faces! read more

Absolutely not, Yes the staff was friendly; however, out of a family of 4, we all were suggested to have crowns put in. One had 2 crowns, the other 2 members had 1 each. One family member had a bridge put in. The 3 members with crowns had them fall out!!!! Not one time but 2 members had to return 2 additional times and have them reattached. This was totally unacceptable. It gets better. We paid in full for all dentistry fees and since August of 17, we continuously are receiving a bill for over 500 dollars that they have yet to take care of.....we are still waiting for Brittany of Midway Mall the District Manger and Julie the boss of Brittany to take care of this. I have to call again today!!! read more

Great staff. Great experience! Extremely attentive and makes you feel like visiting friends. Strongly recommend the Elyria office.

Price is great. If you have the time and don't need an Rx for pain or an Antibiotic after office hours, you can save money.

Then they wanted to charge me for the free appt. because I only wanted one xray not two. Then wanted half of the money right then just to make the next appt. A complete joke.
