I was recommended to come here to get my dental work done. So I went on the recommendation. I had a…read morefilling fall out and another tooth broke off at the root. I was seen by an awesome staff that had me scheduled for an extraction the following week. Extraction day is here and I am nervous to what to expect. I paid $30 to get the NO gas. It worked surprisingly and calmed me down. The dentist came in with two large q-tips with numbing gel on them and put one on each side of my mouth. A few minutes later he pulled them out. All numb by then he said I would feel a little pinch as he went in with the needle to numb the tooth. I closed my eyes so I didn't get frightened by looking at the dental needle. He went in a few times with the needle and I did not feel the pinch I did not feel anything. He left and came back in about five minutes. I was good and numb by then ready for the procedure. He laid me back and worked his magic. He pulled out both sides in less than ten minutes. Very smooth like he was driving a Cadillac. I felt pressure but no pain. The assistant gave me my prescription and a few post surgery instructions and I was on my way home. It was overall a pleasant experience. I recommend this dental group. I could not have asked for a better group of dentists, dental assistants, and everyone else to help me with my situation. They were extremely professional and friendly. There is nothing fun about getting your front two teeth knocked out, but I can honestly say I enjoyed myself the entire time I was there. I could not believe how much time each person spent with me to help me out. Kevin took an unbelievable amount of time out of his day to take the time to explain everything that they were planning on doing to me. At the end of my time there, I was very concerned about the price of everything I had done, and was shocked by how fair they were. Called today because I need an extraction and they can't access my account and said I'd have to wait like 30 days for them to do an accounting audit. Really? Not ok with that. With technology today, you should be able to access a person's account immediately. Therefore I requested a refund from my account which the credit was substantial and am now looking for a new dentist.

I can't look at them or think of them without having a melt down. Dr. Cocoran and his nurse not only talked me into receiving Novocain in the roof of my mouth, they made the whole process easier than any experience I've ever had in that situation. It was painless, in every sense of the word, which seems crazy considering it was a needle in the roof of my mouth. He absolutely knows what he's doing and I have every confidence in going here for my dental work.

As an adult who has been avoiding this for years, this could have been traumatic. Dr. Picard and his extremely helpful staff made me feel at ease and explained things in detail so I could make the best decisions about my care. I ended up going with just a local anesthesia and it was more than fine. They did everything you'd expect from an oral surgeon's office, sending me home with a bag of gauze, instructions, when to call, etc as well as a new soft toothbrush. The receptionist even called me a few hours after I got home just to see how I was holding up. Classy and appreciated! The address is on Madison, but it's actually best to park behind the building (between Morrison and Carabel) and enter that way.

Had I wanted it done sooner, they actually had an appointment opening within a week as well. Day of the procedure everything went fine. Everyone was really nice and since I didn't have to be put to sleep, the doctor and his two surgical assistants communicated to me throughout the duration of the procedure as to what was going on. I was sent home with a soft toothbrush, Sockit gel wound dressing and clear instructions on icing, care, etc. I was also given a pain prescription, but ended up not needing it. Afterwards I was able to get an appointment on the same day I called when I was experiencing after surgery pain. Everyone in the office was really nice and friendly and genuinely seemed caring and concerned about how I felt. I never felt rushed or an inconvenience. The two surgical assistants were super friendly and approachable and were willing to answer lots of questions. They were both genuine conversationalists which worked wonders for getting your mind off why you were there. Dr Picard himself was very personable and willing to answer any questions as well. He came off as very knowledgeable and confident which made trusting him to do what was needed easy. If I ever have any oral concerns in the future, I will definitely keep this friendly practice in mind.
