Got my wisdom teeth out at this location. Before the procedure I had to pay half of what was quoted to reserve the day, so I did, around $600. Then day of I paid the rest, it went great. The next few days I noticed pain on my left side upper jaw (only had top wisdom teeth) and called, I'd have to pay over $100 to be seen so I tried to figure it out myself. My pocket wasn't stitched appropriately! Now, almost a year later, I have a gap between my tooth and gum, a little pocket, how fun. Once I got my bill in it stated I owed an additional $450. For what? No idea. Upon further inspection; one screw up they had, they quoted 2 hours of anesthesia when I was brought back and texted my fiancé I was done within 30 minutes. Mmm explain! No explanation was given. Sent that bill to collections which they knew I was having my insurance review it and don't owe them a dime until a year out from the procedure. The front desk girl, she's a real piece of work, extremely rude and hangs up on people. Stay far away from this chain. read more

Felt very rushed, especially with the female dentist. She acted like she had other things to do and couldn't be bothered with me. I told her about the pain in my mouth while she was walking out of the exam room and she just waved her hand and said "yeah, I'll get you medications because you have a pretty bad infection." And that was it! I'll be finding a new dentist! read more

Female doctor had hair hanging down in patients face that touched the bloody tools several times and continued using it on patient. We were having a old root canal extracted and she couldn't get one of the roots. Had to take another x-ray to check if she got it all. Half of one of the roots was still intact. She dug around a little more and got a small chunk out and said, "alright, we're going to stitch you up now" and I said can you get another x-ray to make sure and she said yes. They did another x-ray and there was still a very large chunk of tooth left. She was about to stitch the patient up with a large chunk of infected tooth still in his gums. This greatly worries me that she would be this careless and unprofessional at her job. At least take an x-ray that takes less than 20 seconds to make sure you completed what we paid you 500 dollars to do. read more

Don't waste your time going to another office just go to Aspen in Granbury Texas ! These folks mean a lot to me and I know if you're having issues they will take great care of you. I was already skeptical due to the process before I even arrived at my appointment. It is obvious that a business is trying to oversell whoever walks through the door when they can't talk about prices until you come in for the appointment. I wanted a simple dental cleaning and to find out if I was a candidate for Motto. I was told simple cleanings were $140 (already expensive) but that I might need something more and decisions wouldn't be made until I was in the office. I showed up early but no one called me in until 9:15. I proceeded to get a multitude of xrays and then a digital imaging. Then a "hygienest" came in to sell me on a "deep cleaning". She also could not tell me how much it would cost. I would have to talk to the price-giver later. Then I talked to the dentist. I asked him why it was necessary to get the "deep cleaning" and just heard the same thing I'd already heard. He said I was a candidate for Motto but couldn't get it until after the deep cleaning, or potentially multiple deep cleanings. He, too, could not even give ballpark prices - I would have to talk to the price-giver later. I finally see the price-giver who tells me the deep cleaning is over $3000 and the Motto aligners are another $3000+ after a discount that I can PAY to receive. I was told I could not get a normal cleaning, nor could I get the Motto aligners without doing the deep cleaning. When I said 'no,' she retrieved the hygienist and dentist who tried to once again tell me the things they had already told me. I told them it was a 'no' on everything and that I didn't appreciate having my time waste. I spent an hour and a half of my time in the office and 45 minutes driving back and forth and got NOTHING from this visit. I wanted my teeth cleaned FFS. It was like I was being sold a timeshare. This is a terrible business model that seems like an obvious health insurance scam. I cannot imagine without health insurance that covers extraordinary dental costs finding any value here. I would have appreciated the honesty to tell me that I was not going to get a cleaning. read more

called to make an appointment to have a tooth extracted told the lady that's what I needed. she said that they would do a new client exam and X-rays it would take 1-1/2 hrs then they would do it. I asked how much it would cost and she told me 165$. It took over 2 hrs and then they told me they didn't have time to pull my tooth because they would be closing in 30 minutes. They just wanted to give me pain medicine but no antibiotics ( the dentist even told me that it was infected). I was going to make another appointment to have it pulled even though I was very upset with them so I asked what it would cost then they told me 281$. I asked for my file and let. Humana is my Insurance carrier and they are offering Dental coverage. We looked around and found that Aspen Dental in Granbury takes Humana. On 03-20 23 we made two appointments with Taylor for CLEANING. On Monday I got a notice about my appointment and on Wednesday got a notice about my wife's appointment, They were both made the same day and the appointments were right after each other, why there was a 2 day gap we will never know. Justs shows organization of office. Right before appointment got a call [did not get name]. She wanted general information about appointment. Then started asking me about what is covered. I said when we gave the insurance number they should have all that on file before the service are done. She suggested I bring a copy of what is covered so they would know. I let her know it is their job to know what coverage is in their office based on my insurance number. Then comes the kicker. She tells me that the 1st visit is just to learn about us visit and then we can schedule a cleaning at a later date. This is just a sleazy way to drag this into TWO appointments [4 since there are two of us] and four insurance billings for a simple CLEANING for a couple of seniors. They had 3 months to tell us this rather than do it the day before. We had made special arrangements to come back a few days early from our trip for this dental appointment. What a waste. Needless to say I just cancelled the appointment and will be looking for another dentist in the area. read more

You will not be able to understand their pricing, nor their bookkeeping. New employees daily. Unprofessional and bumbling service, but my main concern is their office manager.
