They are very professional and know their business. I was very impressed with the staff and doctor.

I had a great experience at this location! I just moved and they made everything so easy and simple. They were able to get me in the same day I called to schedule an appointment! Everyone there is so nice and kind! They have a tv for you to watch in the chair and they play music for you! Very gentle and they give you advice and tips. The fluoride treatment smelled amazing! It smelled like a spa, which was really nice considering you are at the dentist! Haha I'm excited to go back in 6 months! read more

to start I needed my wisdom teeth out the whole first part was okay ! then the after care was horrible I woke up in extreme pain they were told I had a 45 min drive home they did not give me enough meds to even make it home within 10 minutes of leaving I was in excruciating pain. then my meds weren't even sent to my pharmacy so I had to wait up to two hours after getting home. Not to mention they did not offer after care tools such as mouthwash syringes or anything I cleaned all the time and still ended up with dry sockets. read more

I'm posting in regards to Aspen Dental on San Jose Blvd. in Jacksonville Florida. If u all recall I was told that my insurance covered everything!! Then started receiving bills. Each month I'd receive another bill. I kept being told not to worry about it. I had a zero balance. After a couple of months I took every bill into the office manager. She to was stunned. She presented it to the owner. I was told that every procedure on those bills was written off. It's been over 6 months since I received a bill from them. I received a bill two days ago stating that I owed over $1,400.00 for a procedure done this last February. Which was on the original bills. I called and talked to the "New" office manager. She's stating that there is no documentation in regards to that particular procedure being written off. Gees, why did it take them six months to send me another bill?? Also why wasn't I told way back then that one of the procedures wasn't written off?? So guys DO NOT TRUST Aspen Dental!!!!!! read more

I am a victim of elderly abuse. Aspen Dental Changed a procedure that we agreed on. The Dr .....DR Charles Melton was a poor surgeon and rushed me through the procedure. I paid extra for IV SEDATION and in stead was given NOX. After complaining the changed my dental records which is forgery in my book. They will NOT answer any emails as they dont want any record of their mistakes. Avoid this office at all costs! Right now I have a 4x4ft sign in my front yard that reads......Aspen Dental Sucks. Its all I can do to counteract this offices bad deeds. Avoid Aspen dental as they are guilty of Elderly abuse! Yesterday I get a call from the Court house in Jacksonville saying there will be an injunction filed against me for This complaint and social media comments. They HAVE NOT finish my procedure. They ( the court house ) said I am not to contact ASPEN DENTAL. They said it must go through a lawyer!!!! So now a complaint against them in Yelp gets an injunction filed against me!!! Dawn commented yesterday and I called her. No resolution from the call to her and.........Now they want to issue an injunction against me. SMH! read more

I wouldn't send my dog to get dental work here. Any positive review of this establishment is absolutely beyond me. These people will have you waiting for hours and still can't perform any procedure even a minimal one on the same day. They also charge an upwards of $200 for an Oral-B toothbrush that is barely $100 in the store. Why? No idea. They are also among the most expensive dentists I have ever seen. I made an appointment for a cleaning and was there for almost 2 hours and left without a cleaning. Not recommended in any way shape or form. read more

Dr.Patel was the best dentist I have ever gone to. He told me I wouldnt feel any type of pain and I didn't! He pulled my tooth in like 3 seconds and I was out. Thank you so much! I scheduled a cleaning and exam. I was a new patient with new health insurance. I wanted a cleaning because it was free with my insurance. When I got there they said they "couldn't do the cleaning today" then tried to charge me over $100 just to clean my mouth. I said I don't want to do all the extra stuff, I just want the basic cleaning which is free. They declined cleaning my teeth all together. My time is valuable, and they completely disregarded it, and refused a service which my insurance PAID, just because I wouldn't let them stick their hand down my pocket more. I will be letting everyone around me know about my experience here so they can avoid this practice all together. :) read more

I walked into this office completely pain-free to have a cavity located between my lower-right molar and the premolar in front of it fixed. I was told I needed a root canal on the molar and possibly the premolar. The dentist they referred me to performed a root canal on the molar but said the premolar was fine. I returned to Aspen to have the two teeth prepared for the crowns and during the process, I felt the drill hit my back upper-right molar. I was numb for a couple days and could hardly feel the right side of my face. When I returned to have the permanent crowns put in, the girl literally twisted and pulled the temporary crowns off with so much force that I believe she cracked the premolar in the process. I returned four days later with incredible pain, swelling, and numbness in my lips. I couldn't brush anywhere near the new crowns nor sleep on the right side of my face due to the amount of pain I was in. I was given a prescription for antibiotics and pain medicine and told to return to the other dentist for a root canal on the premolar. A few days later, I used a handheld microscope to look at my upper-right molar and realized they had knocked off the filling. I returned again to see what they can do to fix the tooth they broke but was told it was fine. All they wanted to talk about was me having another root canal done on my premolar The crowns they put in my mouth feel like they're too big and are crowding my other teeth, the inner edge of the crowns are cutting into my tongue, the upper-right molar they broke is sore and I'm still experiencing swelling and pain over a month later. I'm now having to go to another dentist to have them fix the damage Aspen Dental did to my teeth because they refuse to acknowledge the damage they did. I walked into this office completely pain-free and walked out with oversized crowns that are cutting into my tongue, a chipped tooth, and constant pain which cost me over $5,500.00 to have done! read more

Would give zero stars if possible, worst and most unprofessional place ever!! Where do I start?? When first initially making the appointment we made it for July 2nd at 1:15 pm we show up for the appointment that day at around 12:55 early as recommended. At first they say they didn't have us down for an appointment, then we sit in the car and talk to someone on the phone. They then say the appointment is down for 3:15 pm and we knew we didn't want to wait. But then they say oh well they're with a patient right now but if you wait until around 1:45 pm we can see you. So around 2 pm comes around and they finally call the patient in. We waited about 5 HOURS all they did was make him wait inside and poke and prod on his gums. They did one X-Ray and said a couple of things. Then recommended a surgeon and said they couldn't do anything except send over a prescription for a stronger ibuprofen and amoxicillin. We get to the Walgreens and they only had a prescription for THE IBUPROFEN. He has AN INFECTION he needed the amoxicillin!!! So the Walgreens pharmacist had to end up calling Aspen Dental and they had her on hold for awhile! WORST PLACE EVER DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IT WAS A GINORMOUS WASTE OF OUR TIME AND THEY DID NOTHING HELPFUL FOR US AND HIS DENTAL EMERGENCY!! read more

The worst dentist I have ever been to. I do not recommend going here ever. The staff is friendly but they do not listen to your needs at all. I was very upfront about my dental anxieties and was then looked down upon like I was such an inconvenience to them. I was prescribed the lowest dose of anxiety medication to be taken one hour before my appointment for a wisdom tooth extraction. It apparently wasn't enough because when I had a mini panic attack in the dentist chair, the dentist suddenly became irritated. I was then quickly told that she was sending me to an oral surgeon to pull my other tooth. I was sent home with no pain medication or antibiotics, which the dentist said I had needed before the procedure began. Luckily I have went through natural child birth so I can tolerate higher pain levels. If you can't tolerate pain, I do not recommend to go here. They do not care about the patients they see. Aspen dental only wants your money and to label you. They do not care about you as a person and your pain or personal needs. Save yourself from the awful experience I endured here and look for a better dentist. read more
