I created a Yelp account solely to review this place. I think there is malpractice going on. Genuinely not sure how this office would be considered professional. The amount of times they called to reschedule me should have been my first indicator. First of all, the dentist is very blunt and not personable. For example, I explained to her I clench my jaw and wish to see a TMJ specialist because one of my teeth is impacted so much, it feels like I have a cavity, but there's no cavity. She says she can shave down my tooth. I said there has to be other options that aren't as invasive. All she says is "no" and that she believes my TMJ isn't bad enough but she'll refer me. I had a filling on a root canal they wanted to put a crown on, which I had heard from my prior dentist, so I accepted treatment. I wish I hadn't because the temporary tooth fell out 3 times in the span of 1.5 weeks. The first tooth fell out while I was eating eggs. The second temporary tooth lasted less than 4 hours. Again, it fell out while I was eating eggs. I asked for a different person to put in my temporary tooth, thinking that was the problem. No, someone else was at the dentist because their temp also fell out the day prior. The person that put my temp in put it in backwards and I had to be the one to tell them it was wrong. How could they not know? The third temp tooth fell out just 4 days prior to my permanent tooth being put in. Since I work two jobs, my schedule doesn't allow me to keep going back to get a temporary tooth put in every few days. Permanent tooth comes in... well it doesn't fit. They think it's because my gums grew over my tooth in the 4 days the temp wasn't there. So they cut my gums. Tooth still doesn't fit. They re-order a new tooth and say they'll priority ship it to arrive next week. It's next week- I call for an update. They say the permanent tooth won't be here until 2 weeks from now. So they lied to me and guess what? My temporary tooth fell out while I was eating a banana. I've not flossed around that temp tooth, have not eaten on that side, and have altered my diet over the last month to soft food only. Yet, the temp tooth still managed to fall out. 100% this is a dentist issue, not a patient issue. Please do not waste your time or money at this joke of a business. read more

Was a patient for over 10 years. Turnover has become a major negative as you probably won't see the same dentist or hygienist on your next appointment. During my last appt I was told I had cavities that were non existent after getting second opinions, I will never go back. They also try to convince you to spend hundreds on night guards that may not be necessary! Beware of this corporate owned group! read more

I can't say I'm too pleased with this practice's billing. My first 2 visits here were expensive, over $200 after insurance; but that was for full mouth x-rays and a deep cleaning (not deep scaling). So yesterday I went in for what I thought was a preventative maintenance cleaning (regular visit) and they charged me over $80 when my insurance says I only have a $10 copay for a cleaning. So I give them a call and they tell me that it was for a "perio maintenance" appointment which my insurance only covers 80% and that because they did the deep cleaning that all future cleanings will be billed as that and not preventative. I do not agree with that at all since I have never ever paid that, even when I went to a specialist (periodontist). The staff at Town Center is friendly, but they need to explain what you are getting into. I guess I'll be finding another dentist for my next scheduled cleaning. read more

I can't say I'm pleased with this dental office. The current dentists are inexperience (less than 4 years of practice) and the their dental service are quite pricey for subpar services. This dental group only cares about producing revenue by any means possible. For instance, The dental group was out of network with my insurance company, here is the catch, the dental group have to request removal from certain dental plans. Therefore, Town Center Dental Group was fully aware of their last day of network, but never informed the clients. This is how Town Center Dental make their living, robbing the public for subpar dental service. So, if you want an inexperience dentist working on your teeth for outrages prices, this is your dental group! read more

I moved locations so decided to give this office a try. I have been diligent with the care of my teeth and had always been with my regular dentist every 6 months since I was young. All of a sudden this dental place tells me I need three crowns, three fillings due to cavities, an overbite and needing a mouthguard after all the fixings because apparently I grind my teeth when I sleep. I don't grind my teeth. My husband never heard me grind my teeth. Also I was just with my previous dentist 4 months prior. I am not going back to this dentist. Literally the worst experience ever!! I went in cuz I was recommended by a trusted friend since they've never had a bad dental experience here. I went in with a complete open mind and trusting that I was going to get great care as well. I'm always skeptical with new places, but had to find one since my old dentist no longer accepted my insurance, unfortunately. I went in here to only have a cleaning and X-rays, and after 3+ hours, which included 30+ xrays(or at least it felt like), being told I have bone loss, an overbite that should be fixed with Invisalign or at least braces and to top that off being told I have 7 cavities, I was more than overwhelmed. I keep up w/routine cleanings so all of this caught me off guard. I was also recommended to have a cancer scan(which I've never even heard of before this) but went with it just to take "precaution". I honestly felt sick to my stomach when I left there and even ended up paying close to $80 when I left even with them being in network. They showed no sympathy at all with all the bad news I kept getting. Very next day I requested my X-rays so I could get a 2nd opinion and boy am I glad I did!! Turns out I have 1 very small cavity and directly from my new dentist's mouth, my teeth and mouth are perfect!! Do not let this place tell you otherwise! It's a shame how many people they've con'd and the pain people have gone through thinking they needed work done they didn't need!! HORRIBLE office staff- especially the "office manager". I have gone to this dentist for years and this past year has been the worse experience ever. I visited their office 5 times this year and they have managed to over charge me and owe me over $100. I have sent all of my claim documentation showing what my insurance paid and what I owed them. They are an in-network provider for my insurance and should be doing submissions to the insurance for the costs of procedures - not "estimating" the cost and charging for services that aren't allowed by the insurance. Now they owe my insurance for over paying them but they are saying I owe them $180. That is completely false and the money they owe to the insurance has nothing to do with me. Just be warned- watch the charges they bill you for and prepare to argue with them over what they owe you if you go to this dentist. I would give them zero stars if I could. read more

I didn't mind everyone there but I felt very pressured to make appointments for work I needed done even though I kept making it known that I could not afford to pay for anything other than the cleaning and fillings I had already had done. It just felt a bit borderline of trying to bully me into something with a few scare tactics thrown in. I still feel like I got ripped off for the services I did pay for....but I got some plan that entitles me to two more cleanings so I'll get those done since they are already paid for but probably go elsewhere for the other cavities I need filled (also she gave me the most expensive kind of fillings which explains why my bill was astronomically high). Worst experience ever!!! They kept for an exam for an hour and a half to present some over inflated treatment plan to pad their own pockets. Then they refused to give me any treatment because I couldn't pay for the deep cleaning and other unsubstantiated chargers. Now I would have to pay out of of pocket to see another dentist. I bought a Groupon deal to do a teeth cleaning, the deal was saying about x-ray, cleaning and exam but I was only interested about the cleaning and I let it clear when I called to do an appointment, they asked me again at the officer and I said I was interested about the cleaning, they made the exam and the x-ray but didn't the cleaning cause they said I needed a deep cleaning, they wanted to charge me $ 7.000,00. I asked if I could to have my money back and they said the money was to cover the x-ray and exams, what wasn't my interest. I'm really disappointed with this service. read more

Hello Once again I had a great experience at Town Center Dentist. I was greeted as soon as I opened the door. My appointment was 7:20AM and was taken in exactly at 7:30. I was asked if I had any problems before my cleaning took place. Ashley, the hygienist cleans your teeth with no pain. She will ensure that YOU are comfortable and will give you time in between to ask any questions. After the cleaning the front desk handles your exit like you are their only patient for the day. I left this practice after using the office for over seven years. Even though my insurance pays for routine x-rays and I had been with the same office for years, they couldn't seem to schedule those within the insurance guidelines so that I could get the benefit of my coverage. They also did not inform me that the services were outside the guidelines, so I was surprised at having to pay for something that should have been completely covered. The accounting practices are very poor. I received a bill for the outstanding charges with no indication of what the balance was for. They sent a running list of everything I had done for five years. After several calls, an unreturned message & a letter with no response, they let me know that the charge related to the x-rays that should have been covered under insurance. The really odd thing is that those recent charges for the outstanding item weren't even shown on the invoice they sent. When I requested that the charges be removed, they refused. They said that they had already discounted the amount, but I could not see that on the invoice because it didn't have any recent information. After all of the frustrations, I'm going to move on to a new dentist. Giving two stars only because my hygienist was always great. read more
