I left this office feeling very disappointed. During my treatment planning, a significant cavity was completely left off my care plan. I only realized it later after looking at my tooth and questioning why it wasn't included. When you're trusting a dental office to identify and treat dental problems, overlooking a cavity is a serious concern. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I expect a thorough examination and an accurate treatment plan the first time. Having to discover what appears to be an untreated cavity myself has made me lose confidence in the quality of care I received. Needed a tooth pulled, made an appt. They did a full exam and dental plan and hard sale while never even explaining exactly what it was they planned to do...so i was in sticker shock and uninformed. I realize my mouth is a wreck but all i needed was my tooth pulled.. im disabled and cant just go out for long, they wanted me to come back later that day. I had to go home with my bad tooth and come back another day. It wasnt due to infection as i already took antibiotics. Their sales pitch took oriority over my rotten tooth. It was irritating and i may have responded differently had they took 5 minutes to tell me what the plan was with each area. This a tough one. I have been a client of this practice for over 6 years. I loved this place until the last year. It has spiral. Like 100% of the hygienist have left. While I understand that there's a hygienist shortage, from speaking to the former hygienist that I personally know, they left bc of the new mgt. It is extremely difficult to make an appointment and if you need to reschedule, it's prob going to be six months out. I am still undecided if we are switching (family of 10). I had the benefit of working half of my military career with medical professionals. And having been on both the hospital patient and staff side of things, I feel very comfortable in just about any medical setting. However, I tend to get my share of fears like others, when it comes to visiting the dentist! It's just not natural to have a needle gift you with the numbing sensation and all kinds of other instruments invading your mouth, especially when you're getting your tooth reshaped to ultimately insert a crown. If you have fears of the dentist too, don't be like me and wait a year and a half to get the cleaning work done! Get an appointment at Harbour Dental Care! I've never been around more caring and professional dental professionals in my life. From the moment I walked in after speaking to the support staff, I knew I was in good hands. Since I worked with dental professionals in the past, it was easy for me to have conversations and relate with them. Yet, when I got into the exam room, a staff member, Nila, was exceptional in the service she provided for me in prepping to see Dr. Sabino. The highlight of this great start continued throughout the day as I had to come back to have my teeth cleaned (and scoured!) that afternoon. In the space of a month, I've had four appointments at Harbour Dental. My first two visits were same-day (different times) for the exam and cleaning. Here was where I learned I would need a crown and that was scheduled for a week or so later. Maria took care of my cleaning. As a seasoned professional, she got them brighter again, and my mouth as a whole felt far better the even the next day. So far so good! My first crown visit was with Trevor and Dr. Sabino. Both took excellent interest in me as a patient and talked about things when needed to help keep me calmer while drilling was going on. This was the roughest of the visits due to the amount of work in reducing the tooth down to size and inserting a temporary crown. But all of it went without a hitch - the temp settled well and it was only a matter of time before my new crown would get fitted. I got the appointment of the crown placement insertion a few weeks later. Here I got to meet the owner, Dr. Snyder, who actively works in his clinic. It's pretty easy to see why his whole staff is positive and motivated to serve the patients. I enjoyed meeting him, and he and his support staffer did a fantastic job in removing the temporary crown and inserting the new one. Now that I have my work completed at Harbour Dental, it was time to write the review. I will say that you'll get excellent quality in care at Harbour. This staff is a truly involved group of professionals who know their jobs well and provide superior care quality to each patient. It's rare when you see patients leave a dental operation with smiles on their faces, but here you will. The appearance of Harbour Dental from the outside-in is outstanding. First time at Harbor Dental Care, I left very impressed from the entire experience. The front desk staff was super friendly , once taken back the hygienist I had was awesome- she knew I was in a very touchy pain situation with one of my teeth and was so very careful when doing the x-rays. I met another hygienist that performed the gum density test was very informative on my situation & made impactful recommendations. I found Dr. Frazier very knowledgeable and accommodating as I was in a severe pain situation in which a tooth extraction was needed, he fit me into the schedule a few hours later to perform the procedure. The procedure went extremely smoothly and most importantly felt zero pain in the removal. This office is run with military precision- the staff uses walkies to inform other staff members of patience position in the process for next step. The girl at the check out desk is very nice and friendly as well. As someone that has been in management I can tell you the tone of the staff comes from the top down- happy employees make the business successful & I witnessed staff seemed very upbeat & willing to help. We've been away on vacation and my husband was in so much pain and discomfort from an abscess the last few days of our trip so I needed to get him to a dentist as quickly as possible. If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm in the medical field and knew my husband needed antibiotics. The dentist told him he did not have an infection and to come back tomorrow to have the tooth extracted. He has the classic symptoms of an abscess; swollen face, lesion inside his mouth on the side of the bad tooth and pain. Thankfully I was able to get him some antibiotics. I was recommended to this office by a friend. The office waits were always excessive. Every appointment was excruciatingly long. X-rays took forever. Noone needs over exposure to radiation. At every cleaning I was scolded about my teeth. Told I brush too hard, don't get far enough back. I was always informed I needed a deep cleaning (not covered by insurance). The techs that cleaned my teeth and gums, did so, till my gums bled. I was told I have gingivitis. Wanted me to buy a special, over-priced mouth rinse. I have since switched to a new dentist. And somehow they manage to schedule and keep my appointments. Never make me feel bad about my teeth. They say my gums and teeth are perfect. I called before I came in day before to confirm they took My Humana PPO insurance I told them for the root therapy on a 22 bottom I would have to pay cash and I had it on me and then my insurance covered the crown 100%. I waited and waited and then they told me they did not take my insurance I said well what about the root canal I knew that I'd have to pay cash they told me that my account with my HMO Humana they had it wrong I double checked a few times with them I will never be going back and I don't suggest apparently they did not have time to do a root canal therapy or he couldn't do it they had one dentist there only that I know practice is there and it was eight people ahead of me the waiting room was packed and people waiting for hours very sad about this read more

Had appointments..my best insurance was in order and I would have not had any out of pocket payments according to them in December 2024 with my 1st visit. I was scheduled the Saturday before the new year of January 2025 at 8am. I showed fory appointment and was told 3 different stories of why my procedures could not be done that day. (1) Dr Gonzalez was called away on an emergency (2) she went to a conference (3) she went to spend holidays with her son. An Oriental dentist came into the room and told me he would not perform the procedures I was scheduled for as he didn't feel ,"comfortable" performing the procedures. I asked for another appointment before the end of year so I would not loose my 1800.00 available dental benefits for 2024 and I was told there was nothing available until the 1,st week in January of 2025 this loosing all my 2024 benefits. When I complained their comment was "well them you will have to pay out of pocket". I refuse to return to such an unethical practice. I have been calling on numerous occasions requesting my X-rays..medical records and notes and they have been refused to provide them to me. They have had to reschedule my wife's crown procedure twice now. 2 weeks ago, the lab sent them the wrong tooth entirely, and now today it doesn't even fit! Had my first visit in March but was informed midway through service that they could not complete treatment that day as they didn't have a hygienist to finish my visit. The rest of the treatment and a cleaning was scheduled for two months later. Then a week before the rescheduled treatment got another call that they will need to reschedule again. The new appointment would not be scheduled for another two months. This is definitely not a good look for any business. read more

After four years, my wife and I are done with Harbour Dental. Multiple visits where they kept us waiting more than 30 minutes. Everytime I go, they claim my cleaning is not covered by my dental insurance and I must pay. When I said this does not make sense, they are unwilling to try to resolve. Somehow other family members are covered, but not me. This is not right. Finally, it takes way too long to get an appointment. Call and they will give dates three months out. Harbour dental is very friendly and personable. I met several people including Dr Chow and two other associates and everyone was nice and helpful. They are not pushy with selling toothbrushes and procedures you don't need. They always try to find out the best solutions with the maximum insurance benefit. Communications were easy through text, email and phone. The quotes are also surprisingly low with everything I am scheduled to complete. I will be going back for fillings and maybe sometimes extractions. Felt like she was taking x-rays of the same area twice. Then, with a wand, the took even more pictures. She tested my my gums and teeth to see what kind of cleaning I needed. I have religiously gone to my Dentist in Texas for the past 5 years ever time I've been given the chance to visit. I was very weary of trying a new Dentist because of my relationship and trust with my own Dentist.
