very poor service, my appointment was at 2:30 pm I set there for 3:40 and no one ever said one word to me. I had to go to the check in desk and ask if they forgot about me. There where other patients there too that came after I did and they were call to go to back to be seen ( 5 people) and I was there on time. The that service was awful. Everybody was conversation about each other never once thought about saying anything to m finally went to the back got x/ rays and still no one came to assist me with my visit. So I left and I will make sure that I call my insurance company so that I will not be charged. this is very unacceptable service we're not recommended service to anybody. they are horrible. I've been putting off going to the dentist for a good number of years...well, almost 50-years to be exact. In my younger days dentist offices were scary places...dark and gloomy. When I walked into the Aspen Dental Clinic with their day-lit offices and open spaces I felt relaxed and actually relieved and ashamed I waited so long. I did not wait long to be seen (maybe 10-minutes.) X-rays were immediately taken and before I knew it I was relaxing listening to Dr. Graham going into great detail about about these x-rays and what I was in for. To make a long story short these were the nicest people I've ever met in an office setting. Believe-you-me I know these people were sincere about helping me. This morning, less than a week since my surgery, my new dentures were being adjusted by Dr. Graham and his friendly staff for a snug proper fit. I'm now getting rave reviews by friends and family...even my family doctor...about how 'natural' my dentures looked. Yes, the word was 'natural'. They said I even look younger than my 71 years. I'm on cloud nine! Don't hesitate like I did these many years...modern dentistry is here. Thanks to all the office staff, especially Alexa at the front desk for making my visits positive ones. The only good part about our visit was our tech Alice and she's the reason they got two stars instead of negative five. We booked the appointment back in January for March 31 during my daughter's spring break. We got the confirmation text and a phone call for the insurance information last Thursday for a Monday appt. Imagine my surprise when we show up 20 min before her appointment and she isn't found in the system. Everything that was completed before gone. The insurance info given last week in the system but not on her account and her date of birth was wrong. They aren't equipped for children under 12, which would have been nice to know back in January so I could have found a different office. Alice tried to get as much completed with what she had and bonded with my daughter over their similar nicknames. Everyone is extremely kind and patient so I feel really bad for writing this. But when I was there one person told me I had an infection so my problem couldn't be treated yet. A few minutes later I was told my problem would be treated and never heard anyone mention an infection again. The person I had was REALLY rough with me. They were so nice and friendly but the roughness was extremely painful and concerning. One of their instruments also nicked my inner lip and that spot on my lip has been in a lot of pain ever since. It looks like a big cut. I wish I could give 5 stars. They are really the nicest people I've ever met. But the confusion and roughness I experienced cannot be overlooked. I'm so sorry. read more

If you value your time and mental sanity then go anywhere else but here, this Aspen has drastically gone down hill since start of COVID! Manager is rude and has zero empathy to anyone. Hygienist timeframe was cut from 15 minutes to 10 minutes but yet I sat in the waiting room for an hour for my scheduled cleaning waiting to be seen but ended up having to leave and schedule a cleaning at another location due to the inconsideration and the carelessness. It felt like the attitude of the establishment was if you want your teeth cleaning than you shouldn't mind waiting as long as possible. This location is on my way home from work but with the several experiences I've had with this Aspen I will be going out of my way to the Elizabethtown office where the hospitality is much better and I recommend everyone else do the same! read more

What a terrible experience! The only thing I can say nice was the woman who took X-rays was polite but her breath was atrocious and she had a mask on. Smelled like fermented cabbage. They tried to do unnecessary procedures and then said they wouldn't have time to do what I came in for as an emergency visit. I went to leave and the tech said wait I will get the office manager maybe she can help. She comes in a reiterated what the tech said in a condescending mann I told the twit and believe me when I say I'm being kind ... this is why you all get bad reviews and she responded by saying that's ok have a nice day. I've had dental work done here to include their making a partial dental plate for me. A week ago, one of the teeth used to anchor the partial broke off. Now I can't wear the partial as the metal is scraping the inside of my cheek. I called on May 20 (explaining my issue) and was told I couldn't get an appointment until June 10. My husband had a dental emergency and we drove up and down Dixie Hwy, looking for help. I had Yelp open so I could call every dentist in the area while we stopped at any dentist we saw. Every location claimed to take emergency non-appointments, but Aspen on Dixie was the only one (out of about 10 that we saw or called) who would actually take us. Not only did they take us (when they clearly had no actual openings for several weeks), they saw us within about an hour on a Friday!! In addition to this minor miracle, we couldn't be more impressed with the actual care from this staff. The front desk folks, especially Lauren, were incredibly kind, thorough, and understanding during our panic. Hygienist Sarah (recognizing that he has an Olympic-level gag-reflex) made sure that my husband made it through through the X-Ray process as quickly as possible. And Lab Tech Joseph somehow processed everything in the time it took for my husband to use the restroom after his X-Ray! Dr. Graham is the perfect dentist for anyone who has anxiety/fear of dental work - he was super up-front about every move he was about to make ("I'm just going to look, I have no tools in my hand.") and he taught us a lot about how to get the most out of medication. I am so grateful that Dr. Graham was able to answer all of my questions patiently and also empathize with my poor dude who was in pain, even getting him to laugh sometimes. (Have you ever laughed during a toothache? It's practically impossible.) Office Manager Nathan helped us with the financial aspect, which was the chief concern for us. We never seek medical help unless it's a true emergency and so we have very little experience/understanding of these things, but Nathan was exceptionally patient and thorough with us. We were able to find an extremely fair monthly payment plan, and Nathan helped us understand how that could pair up with our follow-up needs as well. I could not be more grateful for this office. We will absolutely use them in the future (not just for emergencies!!). read more

DO NOT GO HERE OR ANY ASPEN DENTAL! Schedule an appointment to get a chipped tooth fixed. Went in thinking I was going to get it filled that day. Went in scanned my mouth told me I had two cavities and gingivitis then had me wait for almost and hour before telling me they'd have to reschedule to fix my tooth. Then had me sit down with what I would describe as a salesman and read me the receipt for what it would cost. They had put a 200 dollar tooth brush and some very expensive tooth paste in the receipt without ever mentioning it. I don't know why I didn't walk out then and go back to my regular dentist. They scheduled 3 different appointments and tried to make the last one where they fix what I originally came in for. A few days later they called and said they couldn't fix my tooth first so I canceled the appointment went back to my dentist and had no cavities no gingivitis and they fixed my tooth the same day. read more

We called to get my father in because of a severe tooth ache well since it was on the holiday they told us they could see him the next day. We made sure that we stressed to the lady it was an emergency because the tooth was infected and needed to come out. Well when my brother-in-law took him to the appointment they arrived early. They took him back and said ok let us talk about dentures which is so not why there was an appointment made. When my father gave him his dental card the person at the desk said oh there was a problem with this insurance and it is not good, Then they do all these x-rays and see that the tooth is infected instead of them taking it out they said oh well you are the last patient of the day and it is late keep in mind they are open until 1900. The dentist stated well it is very infected and we do not want to pull it now but come back tomorrow at 0700 and then we can. So instead of being treated for what he needed he received lousy service. Remember that I said this person at the desk said my father's insurance was not current well pretty funny if that person would have done there job and called they would of known the issue was he had a old card that just expired but he is 100% covered and they could of billed his insurance with no issues. well then I called and asked to speak to the dentist on call still waiting for a call back from this so called dentist. I spoke to the answering service and the lady even stated that it was lousy care and it needs to be taken up by the regional office which is what I did but guess what they do not answer there phone either. I would so not recommend this company for anyone not even to take my dog's tooth out. They are the most unprofessional and incompetent people in that office. I do however have the customer service email address which I will be happy to share along with the regional office phone number because they need to do something about this office on dixie highway. I had a molar removed 4 weeks ago. The extraction was difficult and lasted a very long time. A week later the site had not healed. I returned to Aspen and over heard Dr. Graham state to someone that nothing was wrong with me and I could wait. He had not seen me yet. When he did come into the room he made the same statement before looking into my mouth. I asked about the stitches to see if he was even looking, he said they were fine. They had fallen out 2 days after surgery and 5 days before that appt. He made me feel like I was crazy. Here I am 4 weeks later being treated for an infection and a piece of the tooth " that was completely removed per his statement " fell out last week after pressure was applied. I am still suffering from pain and after antibiotics it is still not healed. I had been seeing Dr. Graham for numerous years and I don't know what has happened but he has lost concern for some patients and it has resulted in a lot of issues for me. read more

Everyone in the Dixie office is incompetent. Schedule a procedure & when I show up they don't even look at me & say they can't do it today, have to reschedule. Insurance coordinator apparently doesn't contact your insurance. Gives you a guesstimate. Had to pay $3200 up front, out of pocket. My out of pocket should of only been $1400. After being told from another competitor, that I needed over $850 worth of dental work and possible surgery on my gums I dreaded going to the dentist. However I found Aspen dental to be a very honest and good value for my money. They did not think I needed all of the dental work that I was told that I needed and did a little more than a deep cleaning which seems to have fixed the problem. The periodontal disease that I was told I had cleared up after a lot of diligent work on my part which they told me would not be easy but was something that I can totally fix if I worked at it. All in all, this Dentist seems to be truly in it for taking care of the patients not their bottom line. They will probably make more money off of me in the future because I will continue to go to this Dentist loyally keeping all of my appointments for cleanings and general maintenance because I know they will take care of me. Nobody likes going to the dentist... But I can go here knowing that they are doing what I need not what they need to do to make some money. The lady that cleaned my teeth was very careful and conscientious. The dentist was very thorough in his exam and they took more x-rays then any dental clinic that I have ever been to. And best of all your first visit is totally free. I highly recommend Aspen dental. They are also very good with kids, and old people, and everyone in between! read more

Price was double but didnt mind paying it.. then dentist lied to me after i had to call emergency line 6 times. there was a big piece of flesh hanging over the denture. when i go into post op assistant doesnt understand why i jump when she shoves a sharp edge denture through a 2 inch gap.. wouldnt let me put ambesol over it before she tried again. handed my denture back and said u want these or not?!! apparently the money back guarantee is a joke as well. dont waste your money read more

I googled emergency dental svc and Aspen dental comes up ..it's advertised that they are open on Saturdays and they do have to sign on door emergencies welcome and walk ins ..so before going out there I tried calling and calling no picked up ..when I got to the office the guy just letting phone ring... I walked in asked was they taking emergency walk ins ..so he was like they were servicing vets that day but he was like what is going on so I told him my problem and I wouldn't have come in there if it wasn't emergency..he just told me no he didn't get up to go ask to see if they could fit me in and no sign was on the door saying they were servicing vets... It's obviously he didn't want me to get seen.. don't go to Aspen dental especially the one on Dixie Hwy .. they false advertise no one picks up the phone and they turn you around at the office because they only want to serve certain select group of people read more

This was my first time vising Aspen Dental. I went in for a check up, and a standard cleaning. After the hygienist check my teeth, she decided I may have "pre gingivitis symptoms." I asked to have the cleaning they scheduled, but they then decided I couldn't get that without me paying for a "gingivitis irrigation." They refused my insurance covered cleaning if I wouldn't pay the $75 for irrigation out of pocket. They also found two tiny cavities that needed immediate attention. I've never had a cavity in my life. To me, this office seems to have a lot of corporate pressure to get every dime out of patients they can. I will not be back. read more

Went in for a scheduled cleaning. Was told it would take 2 visits. One to scrape off the tartar and another visit to polish my teeth. This is what the dentist has been doing for 30 years to my teeth in one visit like everyone else. However, the dentist at Aspen said it was thier protocol and that the second visit wasn't covered by insurance. When I asked a straight forward question about why it would take 2 visits and what exactly would be done, I was given a runaround vauge answer by the dentist. He talked to me from behind the chair and not once spoke to me face to face. He then suggested I was wasting his time. Aspen is clearly in business to charge as much as possible. read more

I went to aspen almost 2 years ago because I was missing a front tooth and had a few in back missing... What a bad idea to go there... They convinced me that all my upper teeth were really bad and needed to come out and several of my lower ones.. 17 in all... After talking with them and looking at xrays I thought he might be right but i was wrong... He said i would be a great candidate for dentures and i told him i was worried i wouldnt be able to eat normal food again and his exact words to me were that i would be able to eat and apple and not even tell they were in... Wow that wasnt true... I really cant eat anything with them in... Way to big huge overbite from lowers different color then my real lower teeth... Been back several times after the first year to fix and was always an excuse why they weren't tight... Finally an assistant tells me this is what they are and if i needed them to fit better i should get implants and to go to office manager to talk prices... I was really pissed but went anyways to talk... Was told then it would cost $10000 and i said total and she told me no on top of the $7000 almost i already paid with the insurance coverage... Which was only $900... So i was like are you crazy and got up and left... I put the permanents in my mouth and they just fall out dont fit at all on top and the partial lowers cut my gums anytime i used them and was told to deal with it... I have been using the temp dentures they give you in the beginning because they fit a little better not much though... They dont even look similar in size or color... But they are already cracked... Its crazy the temps have 2 extra teeth in back which feels normal the permanents are missing two teeth in back and look crazy... On top ofi have small teeth in front lowers and all teeth were small bit my tops look like horse teeth... I waisted over $6000 and have nothing to show for it and wouldnt recommend them to anyone ever.. read more

my friend and i went into aspen on dixie hwy on sept 9th 2014 he wanted to see about getting a tooth pulled he broke we were told they were getting ready to have a meeting yet there were about 4 women behind the counter in the office we asked if he needed to sign in one of the in office asked was her new he replyed yes so she said have a seat never asked his name and he didnt need to sign in so we waited for about 30 min until the women came back into the office area i have never seem anyone ever make a person wait over a meeting and being a new patient also so i went up after they returned back into the front of the office and asked can you tell me when he will be called the women replyed have a seat we will call him now remind u they didnt want him to sign in nor did anyone ask his name so how was they going to address him not knowing his name nor asking for it again what company does this so we waited there for about another 15 minutes nerver addressed him at all now there was only about 3 other people in the wairting room we waited to see how they were going to address him not asking his name well 10 morw in passed never addressed him like he was not there so he said lets go we should not have waited this long now remind u he,s 73 years old and a black male he said he had been treated rudely before in his lifetime but to come there and be treated as so was more than he could take and her,s usually pretty cum but i could not blane him i couldnt beleave that sisuation myself so they loss a patient and if anyone ask im going to tell them how these people treated him who deserves to be treated in such mannor read more
