Met Dr. Carr and he explained everything that would occur. Sam (Samantha) did the imaging, quick and easy using their digital equipment. Back to the chair for a consult and a clean. Both Dr. Carr and Sam has a nice gentle touch. It all seemed thorough and professional. I can only speak to this procedure but for the price of half a bag of groceries at the Whole Foods next door I received a proper cleaning and exam. I'll be back.

I went to them several months ago after not getting a cleaning for a few…read moreyears. my dentist retired and I wanted someone who took my insurance. they did. so began the process and could not get a cleaning for months as they said I needed all this other work first which did not make sense. they said I needed three crowns and two fillings. I have never had this much word done in my whole life and yet, maybe I needed it? I question all of it now. They did two fillings and a crown in one day and that was way too much. I was in trauma. I am 67 now and maybe that is part of it, but this was over the top awful. then I got back for a cleaning and that was fine. now another crown. here's where it gets really bad. the assistant place a temporary crown on my tooth which no dentist in site, took it off to adjust several times but complained she was afraid to make it thinner as it might break, so instead of making the fitting right she put on a crown that was too high. I did not know what it could do to me. The pain from the procedure did not go away and only got worse, enough that I thought about the ER. I finally got in for the permanent crown and told the assistant how bad the pain has been and she said, "oh yeah, a high temporary crown like that could bruise the periodontal ligament and cause that pain." She knew this and still fit me with the bad temp crown fitting? And no dentist in sight. So the dentist put on the regular gold crown and again the assistant finished the procedure cementing in and the dentist did not check final. I am still in tremendous pain, had to cancel work for several days, get a prescription for Tylenol and codeine and still cannot function. The dentist wants me on steriods for inflammation and I tell her I can't due to past health issues and she pushes for steroids. Doesn't consider infection or anything else. I finally go to another dentist for an emergency consult and he refers me to an endodontist as he thing the nerve pulp is damaged due to the situation. I went and of course this killed the nerve in my tooth and I have to get a $1900 root canal, taking antibiotics due to infection in my throat from this, and trauma to say the least. I have spoken with the office manager and the dentist won't call me back after I have been promised to hear from her. They won't take responsibility for what they did, as this should have never happened. I am not a litigious person and am considering speaking to a lawyer or going to small claims court, reporting them to the dental board as they did this to me. It was a bad fitted crown that caused this to happen. Do not go here.

During my first visit, the staff was constantly engaging the Dentist in conversation while he worked on my teeth. I don't like feeling that I am not the focus of the medical care and the results are evidence why this is not a professional way to conduct business. I left the office without getting the Dentist's attention on my last visit, convinced that I would still not be happy with any new work. I also reject the attitude that making a client wait more than 20 minutes after an appt time is acceptable. Now I will have to see another Dentist to repair the shoddy work on the crown.

The older blonde hygienist, Christine, is not someone I'd ever trust again. She tried to collect the funds that second, hurry, hurry sales pitch. Highly disappointing and wish the dentist would have caught the lies, after she came to introduce herself. This felt like a rushed, impulse sales pitch. They put fear and doubt in you to think you may all of a sudden have a problem. I don't even have any red gums, even post flossing! What a disappointing experience.

He comes in and checks me out after I get X-rays and proceeds to tell me that I have moderate Periodontal disease, gingivitis, and 4 cavities,and some pretty significant bone loss in my jaw. And he told me that when he was testing what condition my gums were in. And I quote " you bled like the proverbial stuffed pig" end quote! So then he tells me that he can't clean my teeth because they are SO BAD that I need to have the antiseptic cleaning. (Keep in mind my month isn't bothering me in anyway) so then he keeps telling me about the antiseptic cleaning, it's a 2 hour visit that they will numb my mouth because the tarter build up is so significant that it would hurt me to bad to not have numbing. He said I need one appointment for each side of my month. I said wow, can you show all this tarter ? Because my teeth feel smooth and nothing in my mouth is bothering me, I take really good care of my teeth! I'm 35 and have only had 1 cavity my whole life! So he pulled up the X-rays and starting scanning them and says "well I can't seem to find it on your X-rays but it is a significant amount and I will show you on your X-rays when you come in for the Antiseptic cleaning" And he only was able to point out 2 cavities out of the 4 he said I had. Which I hadn't even noticed in my mouth. That's how tiny they are. So I went out to pay for nothing cause that's what they did. Besides take X-rays. And the lady at the front desk was like "that's $430.00" I was like WHY? They didn't even do anything?!? She said "they didn't?" I said NO! Then she went back and talked to Dr Ruff and he told her that I didn't get the cleaning and that I need to make more appointments for the 2 cleanings. I paid them a ridiculous $302.00 to look in my mouth and take X-rays. I did not make any follow up appointments because he would have just took all my money and told me I need more and more stuff done. Scammer! Follow up... I went to my regular dentist and had X-rays and got my teeth cleaned and he NEVER said anything about all that bad crap Dr Ruff was saying I had. I got my teeth cleaned and a good report from my regular dentist. And it costs me WAY less money.

I had been experiencing some blinding pain and scheduled an appointment for a dentist to look over my teeth and help identify the cause - this insurance coordinator booked me 10 days out full well knowing and approving me paying out of pocket. Less than a day before my appointment, she called and left me a voicemail simply stating they would not be able to see me tomorrow or ever. When I called back to inquire, the receptionist and insurance coordinator became agitated and defensive going so far as to raise her voice over the phone with phrases such as "are you serious?" and "I don't know what to tell you". I did not once raise my voice or speak disrespectfully to the staff. Shame I never got to interact with the dentists or hygienists as they come highly recommended. Would not recommend this dental office to anybody due to the unaccommodating nature and overall lack of ethicality handling a situation with an individual experiencing extreme distress due to dental related pain.

The assistant was experienced, professional but most importantly she was kind, gentle and friendly as she took my full set of xrays. The doctor came in and he considered all of my concerns after checking my medical history. He did a cancer screening and checked my gums in addition to evaluating my xrays. I never felt rushed, yet I did see their concern for my dental care. The dental hygienist, Jamie was super gentle. My husband, daughters, their family members all go to this office. I highly recommend this office. A big thanks to the staff for making me feel comfortable at a dentist office!
