Honestly, this location is ridiculously rude and just doesn't give a damn about you or what you got going on like so long story short I have upper dentures and I had to go to them because I was looking for a fast way to get new dentures because I had thrown up in the toilet and flushed it down the toilet without realizing that They were in the toilet to begin with so after I had to flush the toilet, they were gone so online their website says that they can have your dentures in one day so I'm like oh my God please come to find out that's just BS and they're more likely like three days Well whatever so I proceed with it. I get them the third day and did not even six months later I go to bite into a egg roll and my denture snapped in half from the middle and it was the weekend so I had to go all weekend without so I went to the store and I got this fixed it repair kit and I repaired it and it just was not good enough so I paid $200 on Monday to get them to repair it and when they finally repair it they tell me that they weren't able to fully repair it and not only that they charged me the whole amount plus my dentures did not look the same They came back with a huge gap in the bottom of the two front teeth and they made them crooked as if they had broken it even more trying to fix it and just tried to cover it up so I get home and my dad asked me how it went and I told him what the hell happened and he calls this store asking about what happened and why did they do that to me maybe a discount since you guys broke it and made it look worse and didn't even fully fix it? Please read all of my reviews on places to get dentures from. I have done a lot of homework for you. The price of dentures honestly applies to where that doctor wants to vacation this summer. It can go from 7 - 20,000 honestly. So you're going to have to be careful on this one. I've asked them all the question what makes the price idifferent. Are the screws you put in the gum more expensive than others? Are your assistance more experience? I have asked several questions as to why the price is so crazy. Out of 13 different doctor offices none could give me an answer. This company quoted me 17,000 dollars. I need four screws on the top and I need a five extractions. The lady who deals with the money aspect is extremely rude. I read that about her before coming in and this is also my experience so she is notorious for this. To have this work done or basically anything involving your health you need to deal with someone with empathy and who has a heart of a teacher. They owe you this especially when they are asking you to pay a zip code for the work. She really needs training in this aspect. The assistance they have when I was there are fresh out of dental school. And we're struggling to operate the machinery. The conversations were as such. They all seem to be nervous. They were all either fresh out of school are going to school while working there. I went to them because the insurance was my job Delta dental had them as one of the companies to go to. I have never been more disappointed with a business in my life. I was trying to find a dentist for an emergency as my daughter had a cracked tooth and she was in extreme pain. I called and talked to their call center and registered her because I was told they only do walk ins for patients. We arrived at the office at 6:10pm and the door and the call center said they close at 7pm. I go to open the door and it's locked. Someone comes to the door and says can we help you. I explain the situation and show that my daughter is in pain. She tells me she's sorry but the doctor is about to leave. They will charge you up front and convince you that you are paying for a procedure when in reality they're charging you for something completely different than what you requested in the first place. I witnessed how my father was almost left with severe nerve damage if it wasn't for the surgeon that STOP THE SURGERY because he said whoever ordered it had no idea about what they were doing, because wisdom teeth removal was not necessary in my father's case, on the contrary it was a great risk for him and he could have lost mobility of his jaw if he proceeded with that surgery. My father wanted dental implants and agreed to pay with his savings for what he thought would be his new confidence in smiling again. Aspen charged him up front and the day of the second procedure they told him that instead of the non removable implants, he was getting all his teeth removed and given some old guy removable plastic dentures. I was horrified!!! They refused to give us our refund even though they advertised in their website that if the patient wasn't satisfied full refund would be provided. I had such a great experience at Aspen Dental. They have a wonderful promotion for new patients without dental insurance - a FREE full dental exam and X-rays for your first visit. I stopped in yesterday and got the full exam with X-rays and their recommendations for full-up appointments. They also gave me a full print out of pricing breakdowns for each procedure they suggested, so that I could take my time to decide what I would like to proceed with. The staff here was super professional and friendly and at no time did I feel pressured or guilted into scheduling anything. Brooke was especially helpful in getting me assistance with getting two painful teeth removed when it was taking longer than expected and the doctor there on 8/1/19 was super professional and very skilled in removing two teeth and four fillings. I have been a patient of Aspen Dental Rivers ave for several years. I am very happy with the crowns done at Aspen Dental. Dentists are professionals, and the quality of work is good. Unfortunately, I can't give a positive review about the office staff. Some staff is nice, and some employees are not polite and helpful at all. I didn't like how they handle billing and schedule appointments. I ended up waiting for my appointments many times. They constantly made mistakes and sent additional bills after I paid in full after the procedure. Even though they provided quotes, I had to pay more than I expected. Also, several individuals were very pushy and made me do things that I didn't need. In addition, they did not respect other's time. I was scheduled for an appointment today at 1045. I arrived at 1015. I was told that they called me at 945 to confirm. At that time I was driving and not talking on my phone. My next visit I was not even given a cleaning. I was given a financial breakdown of the cost and procedures recommended. They wanted to charge me almost $400 just for a cleaning. The total of everything AFTER insurance was $1600 out of pocket. Crazy! I think I did so because I'd imagined visiting the dentist to be an extremely unpleasant and painful experience, but as you get older, well ...some things just can't be avoided any longer. The wonderful people at Aspen Dental were totally professional, and more than that, they were all pleasant and informative (enabling me to relax and feel confident in their expertise), and their surgical team was top notch. In fact, the entire procedure was prompt, expertly handled and absolutely painless. Dr. Healey (D.M.D.) and Dru (Denture Technician) have been (and continue to be) extremely kind and considerate as they patiently go over and explain each part of my step-by-step healing process, answering all of my questions and alleviating any concerns. Kari (Hygienist) has also been very friendly, helpful and informative. Sarah (Office Manager) is also very friendly (always greeting patients and co-workers alike with a bright smile and a cheerful, upbeat attitude). She sat with me and helped me to sort out my care options and she was a huge help with regard to several financial related questions that my wife and I had relating to my treatment. She and the rest of the Aspen Dental staff continuously instill me with confidence. I consider myself to be very lucky to have found such an excellent and caring group of professionals. The people there are very nice, this is why I even gave them 1star. I cannot tell you how upset I am right now with this place. First off I don't get seen until an hour and 15 mins after my appointment time. Then a battery of x-rays from every angle+ panorama. Next to the oral exam from the tech, they know I was adamant about not deep cleaning so tell me I need some cleaning with high pressure water (this by the way is a normal cleaning at my old dentist). I say ok fine. Dentist comes in, again nice enough guy. Next comes the financial lady. I have Very good insurance and she tells me my cleaning, which I have to come back for will be $212 out of my pocket! When I told her my insurance coverage covers cleanings she tells me not this one. They refuse to do a normal cleaning so this tells me they really don't care about patients at all. They would rather use up your insurance and hold you hostage unless you pay for their special 2 part cleaning. So in essence of you don't agree with their plan, you can't see a dentist through your insurance for another year. How is that ethical care. Don't go to these people. Don't waste your time and hard earned money. read more
