The waiting room has a few chairs. There are minimal decorations. I noticed magazines and pamphlets are no longer available, which I'm assuming is a COVID precaution. Dr. Perry was great. He was personable. He was very thorough and answered all my questions. I didn't feel like he had to rush out to the next person. Hopefully, this has since changed. Because of this, it has been impossible to determine when the correct hours are for scheduling an appointment or to pick up a product. As an example, I took off work two different days and went during their normal advertised working hours to pick up a very specific product, they were closed. On several other occasions, I called and attempted to make an appointment but no one answered the phone and I never was able to schedule an appointment. I believe I also left a voicemail. Due to the shortened and unclear hours, I have been forced to look for another dermatologist that has more reliable hours. I just can't keep on going out of way to try and call and figure out when they are open or when they closed early due to limited staffing, etc.

I booked an appointment with Dana. She was so sweet and listened to all of my concerns. It was honestly not painful at all! She did a dermal block for numbing and after that I didn't feel anything! We also added in some filler in my chin for facial balancing. We did not end up using all of the filler so we saved it and I scheduled a two week follow up appointment. At that next appointment we did add a tiny bit of filler but I didn't need much. The filler has made such a natural but noticeable improvement to my face shape. I did not have much of an upper lip before and the filler looks soo natural! I could not be more grateful! They are transparent about pricing and they do have monthly specials. He asked can they be here? It's how they learn, with a line of students so long, it led out the room-leaving the door wide open. I said um sure? I felt that was unprofessional. Not giving my doctor time to ask me permission & pressured me into saying yes to all his students. He had no knowledge of my history & proceeded to try to sell me on acne treatments when my current treatment had nothing to do with acne. I was polite despite the awkward situation he created. I no longer am a patient there. I usually have good experience here but after that, I'm not going back. My docs were amazing to work with though, wish I was able to rate them officially on their site but the emails I got to review my experiences were addressed to other doctors I never worked with- that needs fixing, don't know how that happened there.

Dr. Warren at Island Dermatology is great. I have seen him…read moretwice so far for treatment and each time he's been very patient and caring about my needs. He explains what is going on and what the treatment options are. He even understands that if he writes a prescriptions that sometimes it costs a lot, so he'll offset the cost with some physician samples if he's got them to save you a little money at the pharmacy. I'll be back in a few months for my annual skin cancer screening.
