I loved my crown, but this company clearly struggles with keeping both their doctors and their patients. The original office manager who quoted me one price is no longer there, . The insurance company already paid their portion, and I paid my agreed-upon portion. Now Aspen Dental has suddenly increased the price. I am extremely dissatisfied with my recent experiences at Aspen Dental Pembroke Pines. This is now my second negative encounter with the office manager/finance manager, Izekial, who has demonstrated unprofessional behavior and very poor customer service skills. His approach has been dismissive, abrasive, and inconsistent, especially regarding access to my records, and prices which raises serious concerns about the office's business practices. Additionally, after a dental procedure that left me in severe pain, I was refused even simple pain medication. This lack of compassion and basic patient care is unacceptable. Because of these issues, I do not feel comfortable or safe continuing care with Dr. Golden or returning to this office. I came in to get a cleaning and an exam and left with neither. Fortunately I question everything , specially when it comes to medical care and allowing people to probe my body. The hygienist wanted to charge me $1789.00 for a deep cleaning , said my teeth needed scaling . The. I went in for tooth pain and they did a deep clean,an extraction,filled a cavity, and also got me motto's (invisalign). so every tim i went for more trays i had one dentist til they switched staff. Anyway the dentist they got said i had buildup which i didn't fully believe cause all the dentist have never mentioned build up. so i goto my family dentist for a deep clean. and i've seen aspen dentals dentist and everytime i see him he mentions buildup which is starting to sound like a scam to me. well i finished with motto and i am never gonna return. read more

My first visit was difficult because I was in the office for a couple of hours and was given a very expensive bill for the future treatments to get my teeth to an acceptable level. However, the first part of my treatment was to have a damaged molar removed. My history with dental treatments was severe and full of pain. But not here. Dr. Nathan Taylor removed the damaged molar in just minutes without pain or discomfort. I was shocked and grateful. His dental assistant, Jasmine, kept me distracted and completely at ease. I am 67 years old and this is the very first dental appointment that made it through without fear, pain and panic. Thank you so very much. DO NOT IGNORE THESE REVIEWS LIKE I DID! I am VERY disappointed with my experience at the Aspen Pembroke Pines office. I had an emergency appointment scheduled for 9:00 AM on September 4th to have my wisdom tooth extracted. Instead of helping me, they wasted my time with unnecessary X-rays and even convinced me to pay for a cleaning even though I had one done on July 28th of this year. The doctor I saw was vague, unapproachable, and barely wanted to answer my questions, but I still agreed to move forward with the extraction because I needed relief. After all of that, on September 4th, they told me at 10:00 AM that the doctor wouldn't be available until 2:00 PM. Since I had to work that night, I couldn't wait and rescheduled for the next morning. When I arrived on September 5th at 8:50 AM, the experience was even worse. The hygienist was rude and unwelcoming, rushed through a 10-minute cleaning, and I was charged $214.00 for a service I did NOT need. To make matters worse, the doctor never even showed up, even though I had an appointment with him! I ended up leaving in frustration with pain and went to another dentist (Preffered Dental Care) in Davie, Florida where my wisdom tooth was finally extracted pain free ! The staff at Aspen Dental in Pembroke Pines is completely unprofessional, money-driven, and careless about patient needs. Very nice people who took extensive X-rays of my teeth and told me about the plan of action for my teeth . I cracked my tooth eating wasabi peas . They said I needed some cleaning and filling on cavities and a crown to the tune of 3,800.00 Of course they offered financings but that's a bit much for me . What about remineralizing my teeth with that special tooth paste of course this is never mention . Well I guess I have to shop around some more. They refused to just fill the chip tooth . I visited Aspen in Pembroke Pines April 21. They insisted in full X-rays, which they said were no charge. I explained that I want to know how much. They explained that they couldn't give prices, because their system was down. Today May 15, I returned because they don't answer or return messages. After being there a half hour, they gave me the systems are down and can't get my insurance prices. The girl at the desk then showed me a stack of files and said that these people are ahead of me and still waiting. It appears to me that this is a total sham. Don't waste your time here. They want to let you know how much it will cost, after the work is done. Don't get suckered in by them. My procedure(s) took months so you would think that they would have know the insurance did not pay. Then I could have canceled what had not been done. As a senior on social security this is burden. Especially now that they are threatening collection. When I called to see if anything could be done I got a runaround. The office told me I had to call the corporate when i did they told me i needed to call the office. This is going off for two weeks .Neither would let me talk to person in charge. *** I WAITED 2 HOURS before being worked on and that is with an appointment. I find this to be very unprofessional I have gotten some services done with a wait time of approximately 30min-45min but during my most recent visit I waited 2Hours before being worked on and also during my visit the Dentist and assistant were having too much unrelated work conversation while I'm being operated on. Too much substance was flying in my eye while the dentist was drilling my tooth. I felt like I was not properly advised of why I was feeling a lot of sensitivity with some of my teeth. My issue with my teeth being sensitive has not been resolved. I will need to get my dental services done elsewhere from now on and make sure that I get explanation and X-rays to see how I can resolve my issues. read more

I had a cracked tooth. The Dr. was extremely informative, gave me multiple options. The only issue I had was with my insurance company and how much would be covered. Dr. Jerry Karedan is an amazing young man and an even more amazing dentist. He explains everything to you every step of the way, he actually listens to your questions & concerns, addresses each one with professionalism and care. You are a patient at Aspen...not a number. He genuinely cares & wants you to be happy with every aspect of any procedure. I am truly glad that I found him. Alex is a level above any lab technician I can think of. The care and precision that he puts into his work is beyond amazing! He was more than willing to remake my first set of temporary dentures when they did not fit properly and made sure that I was happy with what I was getting. And those were only the temporaries....the permanents are beyond my greatest expectations!!! He would take the time to explain exactly what he would be doing and why, which helped me to understand the procedure better. He too, would listen to your questions & concerns and answer with knowledge and explanations. He is an artist that has honed into a skill that not many have! My sincerest thanks and appreciation to him for my new smile! A special thanks to all of the girls behind the scene, from x-ray to hygienists to dental assistants. I could not be more happy with my experience at Aspen Dental today. The staff were really really nice, friendly and courteous. I have terrible dental health (not by choice) and have been visiting numerous dental offices in the area to find a place that would accommodate me financially. I was never a huge fan of going to the dentist. I am a very sensitive person and I guess I was sick of going place after place and always leaving with bad news. I recently went into a state of depression and hated my teeth, my smile..I wouldn't even talk to people. It was bad! I found out about this place (actually a tv commercial while half asleep lol) and said why not let me give it a try. Searched it up only and realized they opened a Pembroke Pines location. Check in was really smooth (filled out most of the paper work online prior) Daisha was very PATIENT with me while doing my X-rays. I also met with the hygienist Stevens and Dr. Dolphin they were both very very gentle and explained everything to me thoroughly while doing my exam. Dr. Dolphin gave me many options of what I could do to save my teeth and I appreciated that so much. Thank you for not making me give up. (I wanted to pull all and get dentures). Finally I met with Ana who went over finances with me. I have terrible credit so I was sure I wasn't going to get approved for anything. I WAS 100% WRONG THEY WORK WITH YOU! Wether you get approved or not THEY WORK WITH You!!!!! Let's just say I left there with tears of joy knowing that I will soon have my smile back!! Had my wife make an appointment for me, she filled out all paperwork online prior to my appointment. Arrived right on time and sat in the waiting area for 45 min and watch person after person who arrived AFTER me go in and leave before I was ever called. I asked why I wasn't called yet and I was told that the way the sheet in the folder is picked up is how patients are called. Huh? What does that even mean?? Very bad service. No apology, no nothing. Fraud alert!! I went to this dental office today because I was looking for a primary dentist for dental work. After my initial exam I was advised of how much everything would cost, it roughly came to about $2,600 which isn't an issue. What became an issue to me is this offices erroneous billing!! Actually the work should've been roughly $900. I'm so glad I asked for a print out of the itemized care, I then followed up with my insurance company for items this office told me wasn't covered but according to my insurance it was and the items are significantly cheaper then what they quoted me, not only that but they attempted to charge me 14 times for 1 antibiotic that's administered per quadrant and they added $135 for an electric toothbrush I never asked for, to fatten the bill! I'm highly disappointed with the staff, particularly a lady by the name of Genezis she was very standoffish I tried scheduling an appointment and her whole vibe was off. She was very short with me didn't try to help at all which is not only a disservice to the patients but as well to Aspen dental as I'm in the medical field and will spread the word not to deal with this office. She was trying to charge me 60% upfront or would not schedule me even after me specifically advising her depending on what my insurance would cover I would make the determination of what services I would be needing. She couldn't even advise what services I would need to pay for to get on the schedule. Are you kidding me? As it should be, insurances and benefits need to be verified a few days prior to the appointments on schedule. In Apr. 2021, I went to having extractions and to get new dentures. I spoke with the office manager to perpetuate the scam further. Not expecting to be scammed, I asked for the price for the service. Was told that it was $8000.00; I paid $1000.00 and next appointment I paid the $7000.00. But, to my not being an expert in THEFT I was told that there was a $200.00+ payment due the next time in and thereafter. In total, I paid over $9000.00. It took 8 months to get the most ILL FITTING, UGLY, and MOST UNCOMFOTABLE TEETH. I complained, went in several times for a better fit, but to no avail. My son was getting married in November 2021. I asked from May, if I would have the permanent dentures, was told yes but not true. What they gave me were the UGLIEST and MOST UNCOMFORTABLE TEETH EVER. I was not able to eat at the reception, had to bring soft foods home. At the present I am eating SOFT FOODS. AFTER PAYING OVER $9000.00 for teeth to allow me to eat and speak better, I am worst off than before the dental ( supposedly) service. I am not a RICH PERSON, just someone that NEEDED TEETH!!!! ASPEN DENTAL IS NOT THE PLACE TO HELP, ONLY TO LIE, STEAL, & STALL!!!! There products have been returned as of November 30th, 2021. The worst experience in my life!!!! I came here @3:45 for the new crown fall off after installed few weeks. They told me need a new scan on teeth in order to replace new crown, about 15 mins can be done, which I understood, then they told me I need deep cleaning with No charge on me. I said Ok again. They asked me to signed 2 times same agreement with 2 different dental hygienist, don't know why, no one give answer for that. Ok, after 45 mins deep cleaning. Scanning took about 20 mins. Then is waiting. For the temporary crown, another 30 mins waiting , nurse showing up, I told them this old crown Is not good to use as temporary one. this crown it will fall off again and again, nurse said would need ask doc, then another long waiting, came back saying doc requires to put it on. Ok! After she put it on, it's higher than usual, and whole mouth bite on only this one teeth, she said wait for doc come check it , Long waiting again, starting at 6pm till 6:25 pm, then no one show up again till I keep looking for people one office by office! Finally nurse came back took out this crown, so frustrating waiting here much longer than treating. Left this place at 6:35pm! One doc seeing 3+ patients at same time that's a big problem! 1) Who know if they changes Gloves after touch each patients mouth switching so frequently at same time appointments ?! 2) my treatment at most should be done in 90 mins, but waiting longer than one hour! Waste time! Here is treating patients like been treated as machine in a factory! Hopefully the second crown can last longer that I will not have to come back again!!! read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE, I went in in mid 2019 got an estimate for a bridge, due to some personal issue and 2020 I was not able to complete my treatment till early Feb 2021 during that visit I informed the office staff of my insurance changes they took me in, took final measurements for my bridge and I returned for my final visit in late Feb 2021 more then 3 weeks after providing my new insurance. No one in the office told me anything regarding the new insurance and I left with a zero balance. Three weeks later I receive a $6,900 bill. After months of calling and emailing and only being told we will work it out with our regional manager. I was sent to collections. I had to call the collections agency in order to finally get a phone number to corporate. Today I finally get a call back from the regional manager who says the best he can do is give me 30 days to pay half. I FEEL ROBBED AND STRONGARMED I EAITHER PAY THEM OR MESS UP MY CREDIT. I went with a loose tooth due to gum disease , having an infection they did not address my issue or discomfort, went straight to tell me they have to pull my teeth and put some implants , they told me I don't have any bone for partials but I do for the implants ? No sense , when they start with the pricing , I will get any solution for my problem , She said the doctor will do something but I was out of the room already to face the outrages prices . A professional will address first the major concerns , I was expecting to get a deep cleaning some antibiotics to get well and later to see my options , left the place visited my primary physician and explained he prescribed antibiotics my tooth is getting harder in the second day , Trying to call the office to see if they will claim the full mouth X-rays because I needed it for a second opinion , I cannot get through I think they block me or something because I get a weird recording from Verizon but is the same number I dialed first day when I left a message to get my X-rays , have not heard anybody with an answer. read more

I went to Aspen Dental, Pembroke Pines in January, 2020 and was pleased and impressed with the pleasantness and kindness of staff. Everyone was courteous and friendly. I was having my last six teeth pulled to be fitted with temporaries and provided full dentures upon healing, top and bottom. The charge was $4,665.50 and they do not honor my insurance (Delta) so this was all out of pocket. I knew there was very little or no bone in the left bottom, but I was not informed during the consultation of any special procedures to be performed due to it. From what I'd heard about Aspen and their finished work, my husband and I chose to get the work done as we were satisfied with the consultation. After Dr. C. pulled the teeth and put in the temps, the bottom would not stay in place no matter what type adhesive I used. After making a second bottom, I was advised that I would need at least 2 implants at the tune of $9.000; $7,000. with a coupon. I continue to express my disappointment in this because I should have been informed of this from the very beginning. That way I could have somehow made preparations for that amount of money or chose to not use them at all. This all took a while to complete due to Covid-19 but each visit during adjustments, I am advised that I need the implants. Finally, Dr. Taylor agreed to do one implant (incomplete as of this date - four months from now) for $1000. which I have paid and praying that he will be able to make the bottom denture work with that one. I do appreciate their kindness, courteousness, professionalism and seeming care for me as a patient however, they fell very short of upfront information which is not at all pleasing to me or my bank account, having to spend much more money than I originally anticipated. I would hope they would be more honest and thorough with their patients in the future. I seek the integrity of individuals with whom I do business. especially spending the amount of money I've spent and the many appointments, traveling back and forth for adjustments. My dentures are impressive to look at but the way my bottom feels is not at all complimentary. Finally last Friday the Tech was able to put a soft liner in therefore it is not killing my gums but it still does not hold. read more

I dont even know where to start everyone is super nice and friendly I went in for a simple cleaning and they took their time to know me and actually saved me from spending 9k on silly veneers when all I really needed was invisaling they walked me through it step by step also what to expect it took about 6 months and now my teeth are perfect. Went for cleaning and annual exam for daughter. Upon consultation of visit was advised that she needed a gingivitis cleaning and fluoride treatment for additional charge of $120. Once I started questioning charges Mark B. the billing receptionist became condescending and confrontational. I then called the insurance company to verify what is covered and found out Aspen Dental was going to charge for items covered under insurance. Mark B. refused to talk to insurance company to give codes being billed. Aspen Dental refused to do the regular cleaning and we were asked to leave if we did not pay. Had the most wonderful experience today at Aspen Dental. I was greeted by Melonie, who I later found out is the regional manager and she was nothing but kind, caring, and patient with me. The girl who took my x-rays was also very nice and took her time explaining everything to me. Bianca, the hygienist was super nice and straight to the point, and took her time while I had my cleaning. Dr. Karedan was super sweet and explained the different options that were best for me and my teeth. I have pretty bad anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist and have had so many bad experiences, so I was reluctant to go anywhere. I am so happy I decided to try them. No one rushed me or made comments about my teeth, and most importantly, no one made me feel like I had to do something otherwise my teeth would fall out (yes, I have been told that at another office before). I don't have insurance but I do have Care Credit and they accept that. I did receive a free exam and xrays with the coupon they have on their website. Today was a little pricey but I needed a deeper cleaning and antibiotics, plus stuff to go home. You can't skimp on your dental health, so all in all it was worth it and am looking forward to going back! read more
