Actually everyone was super nice and friendly, like we were all old friends. I was able to get in quicker than I had anticipated, and the price was less than half of what I anticipated. I kept expecting the price to jump up at the end, but it did not. The free consultation was actually indeed free. Surprise! I had an interview for a job. Because of my background and experience I was recommended a diff position that was in an office further away from my home. In the second interview I was told there was the same position at a closer location. When I asked to switch to the closer location the offer was rescinded immediately. Mind you, they had a start date for me and I had already quit my other job. And because of that offer being rescinded I couldn't afford my rent or anything else for 2 months. Luckily I got a much better job, but trust me, the management is awful, communication is piss poor, go someplace else. read more

I've never liked the dentist but I love Aspen in Riverview. Dr. Myrtle and Dr. Theo have been great and Yancy and Alicia have both been fantastic. My first appointment went great here. It was after my initial appointment when I started experiencing intense pain in a tooth. I called into the office for a week straight trying to work it out to fix the tooth but the procedure the dentist recommended was out of my price range. When I explained that I couldn't afford that procedure and asked them to just extract the tooth they refused that service as well. I must state that I had $1000 in credit sitting on their books. Waste of my time off work. The front desk and the lady who did my x-rays were great and especially friendly but the woman dentist and her financial advisor were in the room together during my exam. When they walked in the first question was " did you work today?" Where do you work? Of course because I don't have insurance and they wanted to see what they could charge on me.. should've known when I heard the lady across the room upset and cussing the dentist because she felt like she was been taking advantage of. This place is not budget friendly. After the dental assistant checked my teeth and gums she bragged about how well my mouth was without seeing a dentist for awhile, she stated not even any plaque buildup. When the lady dentist came in, it somehow turned into many cavities and I needed all 4 wisdom teeth pulled because they had Exposed roots and one of them was causing my jaw pain due to laying on a nerve she also wanted to give me Invisalign. Her financial girl took me into a room and quoted me $2,000 for 4 wisdom teeth without the Invisalign. This dentist wanted me to pay all this upfront and have it done all the same time. Went to Brandon Smiles for a second opinion and what a shocker, no exposed roots. No cavities other than a small spot starting on my left wisdom tooth and no it doesn't lay on a nerve that is causing my jaw pain, it actually is impacted and pushing on my other teeth causing the pain. The lost their system and all information. I went back and had everything done again x-rays, check up and everything. I kept telling them that I was ready to start my treatment plan ASAP. Since I was the last patient, they would type it up and send it to me the following day. I have called 3 times requesting it and so I can start my dental care and still nothing. I am very disappointed with aspen. I got a root canal and crown done on my front teeth a year ago. The crown fell out a few days ago. When I called the office they told me I would have to pay for new x-rays and a new crown and the work wasnt warranted. After a year my crown shouldnt be falling out. They didnt empathize with me or the situation.. I am very disppointed and hurt because now I have to walk around with a missing front tooth until I can find a new dental office to do the work. If I could give Aspen Dental 10 stars I would! I had an upper wisdom tooth that was bothering me and Aspen Dental was one of the few local places that accepted my insurance so I scheduled a consultation with the Oral surgeon. When I arrived they took an X-ray of my mouth and Dr. Freeman came in to see me and discuss my concerns. He said the extraction would be a simple procedure and I could have it done that morning if I wanted. I was a little surprised, but happy they could squeeze me in (that way I would not have to take off another day of work). The doctor gave me three shots to numb the area and within two minutes my tooth was out. I couldn't believe it! Simple and practically painless. I felt like such a badass. I was even able to drive and go to work immediately after. I am very happy with Aspen Dental and Dr. Freeman. I will definitely return for any future oral surgery procedures. read more

If I could give Aspen dental in Summerfield a 100+ I would. They went above and beyond of making sure my dentures were comfortable and fit perfectly. I had all of my teeth removed, bone and implants attached to my jaw and new light weight dentures. The process took about a year. they were so patient with my questions and concerned that I was completely happy. Everyone from the front desk to the doc and lab are amazing. The absolute worst kind of liars. Was scheduled for a saturday extraction. Watched the text message from Brandon's office manager confirm then watched it go into the system. When I arrived at Riverview no appointment, no offer to help, just a very sincere It's not our fault. Go home in pain with a broken tooth we got your money so bugger off. Awesome customer service if you want a staff that is utterly incompetent and unwilling to fix a mistake or are even willing to accept they have made one.... This your spot. If I could have selected 0 stars I would have this is my family's second experience with this dental facility and each time it has been a nightmare. My husband was seen there today he was in excruciating pain, he did not have an infection and his tooth could have been extracted but instead they decide to give him a $ 7,010.00 treatment plan and he could not even have the root canal till the 16th. Now mind you his insurance covers almost everything, so his responsibility is only $ 913.20. What really ticks me off is that our appointment is on the 16th but we have to pay to reserve the slot in advance are you freaking kidding me? So what is most important to Aspen dental is to allow the patient to be in unbearable pain for a week because a root canal makes them more money than an extraction...... wow my next step is to report this to our insurance company because this is unacceptable treatment of a retired law enforcement officer and 9/11 first responder. The worst dental experience ever encountered. The first time I went to the office to research what makes them better/different from other dental programs, no one had an answer. This is a new office in Riverview and you would think they would be more than prepared to tout/sell their program/services. They couldn't even tell me if they accepted my dental insurance provided by the Veterans Administration. A week later and still no answer although they made an appt. I went there in person an hour prior to my appt and they still hadn't figured it out. I told them to call me upon making the determination and I would leave my house to return 30 minutes prior to appt time. 15 minutes before, no call. I called them twice and got voice mail telling me to call back during business hours...it was 1:45 p.m. Finally got in contact with someone (not from local office) but I was fed up by then. I was even told they had been trying to reach me for over a week but no missed calls plus they didn't want to violate HIPPA laws by leaving a message stating my eligibility. They still didn't have the answer 15 minutes before...what a lousy first impression. I can't imagine and don't want to experience their other processes when is comes to dental work and billing...potential nightmare. Just got a call from the local office (15 minutes after appt) wondering why I didn't show up...corporate offices aren't even talking to local ones...local office totally forgot they were supposed to call me to verify eligibility.
