I have had three extractons. The staff, although friendly, is never the same. I've been attending appointments since late October and STILL do NOT have my dentures!!! They made three uppers and have yet to get it right! I was told they would try "one more" time! Thousands of dollars. Dr Patel used old, ill fitted and broken, dentures to get an impression fir the new dentures. I've had canker sores in my mouth for months as I'm wearing "temporary" dentures. I cannot chew food and need to cut up all food. To be told they would make one more upper denture and that's it. Imagine?, a total of three months, I may walk out with my original partial and denture. HOW will I manage when the teeth that were fit for the partial have been extracted? I was given a lower denture as the final product- They do not sit on my gums because the impression was taken with the original teeth still intact. Ridiculous. I mentioned this multiple times asking just how the new denture will fit if there are pockets of where the teeth that were about to be extracted. YIKES! sure enough - pockets in the final lower! Then the manager stepped in and said "no, that's a mistake, that was a temporary lower - I ALREADY HAD A TEMPORARY LOWER. I'm shaking as I write this. The owner was there for one of the "final uppers" were given. She totally agreed that they were unacceptable. When I went back I was seated in a room where I sat for nearly 30 minutes with nurse Kim appearing to say "we'll be right in". I left. Finally went back only to be given the SAME SHAPE, FIT AND COLOR as the ones Dr T, the owner, wrote specifically what needed to be done. I surrender. I still sent my son there for an extraction as I like the staff and appreciate the owner and the managers concern. Too bad, Dr T, the owner was there but once in the three months of appointments. After her opening a few more locations I have been extremely disappointe. I would go to CHOICE before choosing Aspen. read more

Office staff all very friendly and professional. I appreciate that they have emergency dental services. I'm very dissatisfied and somewhat angry. First, I came in with a very painfully infected tooth. I felt like they used my pain as leverage to try and get me to spend between $500 and $900 that day. They could have done something to manage some pain. Told the only way to manage pain was to spend $500. I did have the procedure done about 2 weeks later. Again faced with a lot of pain. Especially upset at that point because the partial they made was a significantly different color from my teeth or other denture. I asked about this a couple of times and was told that in reality it is what it is and that they only have a few shades to work with. Something should have been said when they were scanning me for the partial. I'm told in 6 months they can do better. I highly suspect they just don't want to spend the money and correct their mistake when scanning, before printing the partial. read more

I had been going regularly for cleanings and prior to the covid-19 pandemic, it operated as a well-organized dental office with lots of helpful staff, hygienists, and doctors. Unfortunately, after the pandemic, things really fell apart. I never received reminder calls/emails/cards in the mail for cleanings. There were several times I called and left voicemails, which were never returned. Twice I had made appointments for cleanings and the morning of was called to postpone due to lack of a hygienist available - one time okay I get it, but twice? Sorry, you're losing my business. When I called recently to get my medical records transferred, the scheduler said, "Ya, okay" and hung up. Not professional. I hope other offices are better, but please save yourself the time and don't visit the Waukesha, Wisconsin location. Very bad. read more

I called the billing department and asked for a supervisor call back and still have not received it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They will make you pay for future services and pay for services covered by the insurance. Stay away from this place! Filling a formal complaint this is insane! read more

Their dentures are subpar. The temporary dentures made me look like a duck. They made me wait four months for the permanent denture. Their lab tech was snarky and difficult to work with. The female dentist had an extremely bad attitude when I told her I wasn't interested in their cancer scan/screening, which was NOT free. She stormed out of the room and refused to come back in. They hide costs and scam money out of your insurance. Their prices are astronomical. All-in-all, it was the worst customer service I've ever had the displeasure of receiving. Previously I had been going to the Brookfield location and had poor service. Waiting long periods of time and being told a service would be covered with my insurance and it was not. After moving I switched to the Waukesha location and am starting the process for Invisalign and they have been great! Dr. Young met with and answered all my questions and was very kind. Please read the multiple class,action suits against Aspen Dental. I contacted corporate at the number provided by Aspen in response to my original posting. They took information and advised they would get back to me within 24 business hours. A very short time later I received a call from the Aspen Clinic I was complaining about. They told me they would not fix the problem as it had been too long. If ASPEN had addressed the poor fitting partial I have been complaining about for years I would not have lost a tooth and probably a second one. Let's start with the class action lawsuit on Aspen Dental back in 2012. I highly suggest anyone that goes here looks up that article before scheduling an appointment. I scheduled a cleaning and what do I get, a seat in the office where I'm given numbers on how much it would cost to get not 1, but 4 cavities removed, antibacterial creme, and an additional 200 dollar charge for special cleaning. Here's what happened. I get my x rays done with a kid out of school. Never offered or asked to hang up my jacket, took my x rays where the machine literally swiped against my jacket. Then he calls the dentist. She does her thing and says, you got 4 cavities, you'll need the antibacterial creme or you risk losing all your teeth. She then looks at the office manager and asks, am I done. WTF? I'm then taken to the office where all the numbers are crunched. I kindly tell them I'll review the numbers and make a decision. I went to get a second opinion at a local dentist instead of a "chain dentistry" and they laughed when they saw the x rays. They stated I had ZERO cavities and it was pointless to drill into teeth where their isn't anything there. They also stated that I was literally their 4th of 5th person that week that came in stating Aspen reported 4 to 5 cavities. YOU KNOW WHY I KNEW THIS PLACE WAS HIGHLY UNETHICAL? Because of my decade of going to the dentist, not once did I have a cavity. They almost tricked me if they would have stated one or two. BUT these greedy dudes went and said 4! SERIOUSLY? FOUR?!?!?! Very sad experiences with this office:(. The cleaning that I was given in the office was the worst, subpar cleaning I have had in my entire life, I can clean my teeth better myself with my electric toothbrush. Then all the insurance issues...not sure what kind of games they play but my insurance said that they paid the office in full. The dentist still claims they were never paid and have no interest in trying to call my insurance, they just state they will try to bill the insurance again. Watch your bills! They billed my husband for a fluoride treatment they ran out of time to do. This took several months of phone calls to resolve. Then they found another charge for a cleaning done a year prior that they billed us for. Insurance would no longer cover it due to the time lapsed. I was told the office would talk with the insurance company, but instead I got a letter saying it had been send to collections so I ended up just paying it. Needless to say, we have switched to another dentist office. read more

I visited Aspen dental last September, it is now May! I have had a rash that started below my ears and traveled down my neck to across my upper chest. It is stll very firey and dissabling after 9 months! I treat it with Benadryl but it never goes away. I believe it was from the filthy "office" and tools I was subjected to. I Have never in my almost 75 years off life had any rashes. I went to a dermatologist and they actually could not identify or resolve the issue. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Bubon orthodontist is one of the best dental cares I've ever been to.

Due to a lack of insurance, I had not seen a dentist in probably 7 years. The staff was very welcoming and did not shame me for my lapse in oral care. The two Dentists I have seen Dr. D and Dr. Teski were very gentle made me feel completely at ease. I needed quite a few fillings, so I was received to find an office with such amazing people! Additionally, I was not left to sit in the chair waiting for long periods of time either, so that was also really nice. KJ ( Katie Jo) was the Dental assistant with whom I worked the most. I have never felt so comfortable with a complete stranger. The office also contacted me when they had openings before my scheduled appointment. This was awesome for me because I wanted to get all of the work done as soon as possible. I would highly recommend this office for anyone in need of dental services. The only negative I can think of is that my insurance was not processed correctly the first time, I mentioned it at my next visit, and everything was corrected immediately. My insurance changed, so it is understandable that the new insurance information got overlooked- my husband's employer merged, and the two different companies share very similar names, so I can completely see how it got overlooked. Don't put off your semi-annual visits- problems don't magically get better- they get worse, so don't wait! read more

I have had the same filling come out twice. The first time was when I had an extraction and the filling was knocked out. Nobody said anything about that, but,of course they charged me for the new filling, even though it was their incompetence. Now, not even a year later the same filling came out. I called the office and the receptionist was going to have the office person call. I'm still waiting. The dental hygienist was in the middle of my cleaning when she got up and left for about 10 minutes. She evidently has to go work on another customer so there I sat waiting for 10 minutes until she came back. Aspen Dental is a chain and that's exactly how they make you feel. They turn people quickly and you're just a number. I also had a terrible experience at another location but the regional manager called to explain they had a new team there so I figured I would be nice and give them another chance. My regular hygienist is no longer there so had a new gal that wasn't nearly as good. A lot of new faces this time so guessing the turnover is high. I sent an email via their website and haven't heard back yet so either they don't care of there are many complaints to follow up on that it takes the manager a while to call to apologize. This place is a mess. 1st appointment I had X-rays taken and saw the hygienist and the dentist. I knew I had a cavity and when I saw the xrays it was there. To my surprise the debris goes on to tel me that I would need a root canal done and had 4 other cavities. I looked at the xrays and knew this was not the case. I had been a hygienist before, I can read xrays. I was not in need of additional fillings and stated that to the dentist. She proceeded to write a plan up and when they went over it with me I gagged. 1,400 after insurance. They were charging me for things that were not necessary. Arestin in multiple places because of slight bleeding during probing. This is used for patients with periodontal disease and is expensive and not covered by most insurance. They slapped on an ultrasonic toothbrush for $200. Let's just say they rip people off. I would never recommend this place to anyway. Besides the wait times in between seeing the hygienist and dentist. The atmosphere is unprofessional. I had the dentist complaining to another coworker about a colleague while she's working in my mouth. Do not waste your time!!!! read more

I've been there for two hours and got nothing besides Xray!! I had an appointment for teeth cleaning and did not get any. First I was waiting for whole hour for Xray. Then Doctor checked my Xrays and said that I'll see hygienist. I was waiting for another hour and they send me for billing consultation. And as appeared they have one hygienist who booked till October ( funny enough my husband made appointment for me and himself two weeks ago and they weren't booked! I was especially concerned about the lack of privacy. While exam and x-rays were to be free, my insurance was charged without my knowledge. When I went to a dentist I was more comfortable with, my benefits for certain procedures had been depleted. Their estimate was for more than $4000. read more

I've been going there for 3 years now and enjoyed the thoroughness of treatments as well as the friendly personnel working there.

Went in for my first time visit. I was greeted by staff as though I had been going there for years. I was given paperwork to fill-out and sat down in the sitting area. It was very clean and they had a TV that was at an appropriate volume, which I appreciated. Within a short time of returning my paperwork, I was taken into the back to begin my exam. Tony was the dental hygienist assigned to me. He told me that we had to do a good amount of x-rays so that the dentist would have a good understanding of my dental health. I personally hate taking those x-rays, but Tony was very patient with me and did the x-rays as quick as possible to not cause me too much discomfort. Dr. Young came into the room and explained what she thought was my best plan of treatment to fix my bridge since it was old and needed repair. I'm very thankful I chose this dentist office. I'm looking forward to my future visits to obtain the smile I want to have. read more

My first appointment there, I was scheduled to be seen for a routine check up. I waited more than half an hour to go back. Then, when I got in back everyone seemed very preoccupied and was left to sit in the chair waiting another 30 minutes. When the Dentist finally came in, I told her that I knew I already had three cavities. They proceeded to poke around in my mouth for awhile before confirming my statements. That was it. I was charged almost $200 for them to tell me something I already knew. Then I go to get my cleaning and one filling. over $400 later I review my bill and see I was charged $135 for a toothbrush they gave to me during the visit. My final time in there, I had an unpleasant time getting my two other fillings done when the dentist decided I had another cavity and asked if he should go on. I was already numb and in a lot of pain so I told him to get on with it. I get done and was charged an additional $200 for the surprise cavity. Three days later I am in more pain than I was before I went there. The office people are unprofessional and do not have an understanding of what is going on. First of all I purchased the best dentures they offer and paid cash up front for both upper and lower dentures. The upper denture was perfect fit and then it took about a yr. after bottom teeth were pulled and Dr. Teske was very good dentist and does job well but after a yr. you really get to see the reality of a drama filled office with mainly one dental tech of very poor quality and nasty in your face attitude, know it all too! Very narcissistic personality and rude to patients while in a room with them! One bad apple spoiled the office experience that I had here! This place has a very high turn over but some such as Jasmine are such an asset to this business! Thank God for her but even she talked about the experience with the co worker that Dr Teske favors! 1st year front tooth fell out, they glued back in, happened with another tooth on upper denture again, now another tooth on upper denture! Called today and said office manager phones are down and I could here from someone by the end of day via email although I been toothless since early Friday and this is what you must consider before you walk into Aspen Dental amongst many other problems within the year! I would never ever recommend anyone to go here for anything! Very disappointed and very poor customer service and when you need help they do not care! The Dentist explained everything to me and reasons why treatments were necessary. After my visit I met with the office manager to go over insurance and payment plans. This dentist office is a breath of fresh air for our family! I loved our small dentist office in the past, but when it came time for my husband to have extensive dental work, they DID not provide the peace of mind and options so clearly explained as Aspen Dental has. It was phenomenal to have details of what insurance would cover and the peace of mind knowing what exactly we would owe at each visit. The staff are very patient and kind to both the patients and family members. They have accommodated my husband and myself (both working full time Monday -Friday) which helps tremendously. The dentist even personally took time to make sure my husband received pain relief after having multiple wisdom teeth extracted. I felt like we were getting the same treatment we would get from a smaller office. So far, two amazing experiences with multiple staff members. Overall bad experience. the first "dentist" said i needed all 4 wisdom teeth out, then surgery day the oral surgeon told me that my top 2 were too high to come out, so i budgeted for all 4 and took out a credit card for nothing. then i get dry sockets and the super unfriendly woman dentist puts dry socket paste in and it falls out within the hour. just a bad practice. oh and they overcharged me by a lot. read more
