Very sad situation. However, Mrs. Heather who instructs the gymnastics times M-T, SHE IS INCREDIBLE! She is so wonderful with the children, parents, and EVERYONE! We LOVE HER!

They've since moved that service to the "red brick" facility in the middle of town, but they cut it off at 3:00 p.m. After I made a mad dash across the pass and down 82 to get there in time, I arrived at 3:06. I asked the elderly gentleman at the desk if I could just jump in and out really quickly, as I was only 6 minutes past the deadline. "Well, the rules are the rules". Please??? "You know, we've got other things going on..." Me looking around at the empty space. "Huh?" Lame. Unhelpful. Would not recommend.

They had multiple sizes to choose from and the process of renting and returning was easy. They canisters are old and used and can be tricky to open because of this. However a great deal especially if you forget to bring one to your campsite which you need to have one in aspen.

A few days after the purchase I noticed they didn't charge me for the vest. In good conscience I called and paid over the phone. Turned out we were way too busy mountain biking, hiking, and enjoying our travels. To add to the delay, my father died and we hade to get back to Colorado to manage his estate. I finally got to try out all this fishing gear in August. To my disappointment the waders leaked massively. Ugh! Wished I'd have water tested them back in April! Obviously the seller knew they were JUNK and was NOT forthright with Ragged. I tried to return them yesterday and the English accented clerk was delightful. She called the seller and he apparently declined the return, stating it had been too long. Apparently this seller peddles lots of gear there. The friendly clerk defaulted to this corrupt sellers decision. We left very dissatisfied and said they could just dispose of the waders. To which the accented clerk snidely said they would recycle them...hmm? At least I have a a clear conscience about paying for goods they forgot to charge me for. One can only hope others don't fall prey to this Unconscionable dynamic duo! Beware!!!

It's up to a 7.2 mile trail out and back. You can go any distance you chose. I would rate this as a moderate trail. They allow camping after the first five miles of the trail. The end of the seven miles tops out at 10,000 feet. This trail is accessible from May through October. Good parking! We only went a mile up because of a thunderstorm rolling in. It was all along a river! Super beautiful !! I wish I had more time to hike the rest! Can't wait to come back and finish the trail!

Luke (owner) and his guide Dave were professional, funny, encouraging, and knew what they were doing. Not only were they fun, personable guys, but they knew their trails and locations so well they were able to point out the best filming spots without sacrificing safety. There are other companies in the area providing similar services, but I talked to them, and they were discouraging , high-pressure salesmen, so we luckily decided to go with Vail Rock and Ice. Vail Rock and Ice Guides genuinely loves the experience they are providing to their customers and it shows. My experience with Vail Rock and Ice Guides was so fantastic it prompted me to make them my first review ever on Yelp.

Fantastic hike to the lake: Roughly 2.8 miles with about 2000 feet of elevation gain. Lovely vistas and streams the whole way. Wildflowers abound aplenty all along the trail if you hit it right. Great campsites ( please pack out everything and no wood fires). Great hike to Electric Pass with slight exposure. Dogs are allowed on the trail. Smallish parking lot Last mile is on bad road and a small car might have problems....just saying

Amazing views of cathedral peak and other mountains. At the lake there were backpackers that camped out over night to hike cathedral peak. Definitely a climb only for experienced people especially with all the snow. The parking lot is small and up a dirt road that low clearance cars can reach. The path is hard to find in the snow at the top but we just followed footprints and the sound of the water. There is no service on the road and ok the hike. Highly recommend this hike, especially when the lake isn't iced over.
