They had a nice waterfall outside, clean and cute bathrooms, an outside patio on both sides, and a glass window looking out into the nature. The valet parking was efficient as well. It was a bit of a walk to the venue from the parking area but we had so much fun. The biggest surprise was the food. The appetizers were all amazing and the main dishes were good as well. I think this was one of the best foods I've had at a wedding. They also had a pho bar, to my surprise was also included in the venue. Now the pho itself...the broth was meh and noodles were thin rice noodles, but, the concept was genius for an Asian wedding. I loved the Korean fried chicken! An hour before I was supposed to arrive, while I was already on the road, I got a call cancelling my reservation due to smoke in the area. I understand there are liability concerns with air quality, so I'm not faulting the decision to cancel - but everything after that was a mess. On that same call, when she asked, I said I'd like a refund. Two weeks went by with no refund and no follow-up, so I called them. Their voicemail instructed me to leave a text message, which I did. Nothing. I texted again the next day. Still nothing. After three days of trying to reach someone about my own money, she finally picked up - and started yelling at me. It got worse from there. After that last call, she sent me nasty text messages and basically blamed me for not leaving my number. If reaching me was the problem, why not just call back or reach out politely? Instead of a simple, professional follow-up, I got hostility. Cancelling for safety is one thing. Ignoring a customer for two weeks, forcing them to chase a refund across multiple calls and texts, and then yelling and sending rude messages when they finally get through is completely unprofessional. I'd think twice before booking here.

Talley was incredibly flexible and met us where we were with our horse experience while sharing her wisdom and deep knowledge of equine therapy, something she helped pioneer in Malibu. Every horse at the ranch has such a unique personality and is so clearly loved, cared for, and well trained. Over the two weeks we rode every day, painted and washed the horses, practiced equine therapy activities, and built such special connections with all six horses. Talley made us feel so comfortable from the start and became not only an amazing instructor and teacher, but also a true friend.
