Love that it's not too huge and overwhelming. Great selection of pumpkins and activities for kids. Very family friendly.

Staff was all friendly and the place was pretty clean! A huge bonus that it's in a parking lot so the dust is limited. Love that there is a ton of parking! Prices here are a little on the steep side, but kind of what you would expect from an urban pumpkin patch in Sherman Oaks. $4 per token, and most activities take two tokens. The train was two tokens and I think it did 3 or 4 small laps. There aren't a lot of food options, just funnel cakes and a broken cotton candy machine. Would be great if they had some other hot food! Pumpkins are good quality and priced pretty fairly. Some cute photo ops for the family and for kids. I would definitely recommend stopping by Tina's! It's fun for the whole family.

Parking is free, and entrance is free, which is very rare with patches, and all rides and activities cost 1 token, which is equal to $4. One token costs $4, so it can add up if you have more than 1 kid, and there are a few jumpers and games to play with. Easily spent 60 bucks here with 2 kids and doing all activities. There's not a lot, but there are about 2 jumpers, 2 games, a train ride, a horse ride, and a petting zoo. Simple but a good way to kill maybe 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes tops with your kiddo. My kids had a blast, which is the important thing. They enjoyed the small train ride and the petting zoo; you can feed them for just $1. The jumpers are timed, so if you go on the weekend when it is busy, they enforce it; however, if you go during the week and it is slow and there are no lines, they will not enforce this rule. Usually they let them jump for a good amount of minutes; sometimes they don't even stop them. I got my kids tired in one jumper, then they got to play in it for about 7 mins. So good to keep in mind. Overall it is fun for kids, but as adults, this one is not for you.

The prices are more than a bit over-the-top (ugly). Whoever designed this store deserves a smack-down. The aisles are so small you have to shimmy past people. And if you are shopping with a cart, good luck to you. Legit the most baffling design choices I've ever seen. This is an example of design that actually effects the shopping experience in a BAD WAY. Total head scratcher. Whoever designed the parking lot for the entire complex is an absolute idiot. If you need to get your cart to your car, there are several issues depending on what area you park in. First up, upon exiting the store there is a curb with no visible ramp so you have to cart-jump the curb to get down to the street level to your car. Then there is a raised planter between parking and the store so that if you are on the other side of it, you have to cart-jump the curb again. Seriously? Total failure in design on both the store and the parking. But hey - 90 minutes free parking so that's a plus. $16 for a smoothie is a little excessive for sure. Was it good? Yes. That said, while I'm happy to pay more for a great selection of organic fruits and veggies, the smoothies aren't that different from one I could make at home or get somewhere else of the same quality but for less. So if you are on a budget or just resent paying $16 for a smoothie on principal, I suggest focusing on your favorite, good stuff at Erewhon which for me is the fruits / vegetables and their outstanding selection of health / beauty products and their prepared food. from the beauty section, I got something called EVERYTHNG OIL based on the recommendation of one of the staff and it is a GREAT product -- truly my skin is transformed -- well worth the $. I also discovered a yoghurt there that I love -- Painterland Sisters -- but I now buy it at Sprouts as it is cheaper there. The prepared food selection is great! Vegan dessert selection - hallelujah! And I'm a big fan of all their vegan options actually - great stuff. I like that they give you a credit for every glass bottle you bring back -- not a small one either. $2 for each bottle! That brings down the cost of those fresh juices I love so I'll take it!! :) So spend some time finding your favorite stuff - this is a place to pick up a couple of things -- not do ALL your grocery shopping. First of all, you don't want a cart in this place -- too hard to navigate. But also, a full shop at Erewhon is 3 times what any other store would cost. But they do have some very excellent products so worth it for those things IMHO but not for EVERYTHING. Also, try to choose a time to go when it's not packed. the store is claustrophobic when full.

Apply the points and move on. The only changes we need to make are we just keep going to the Bristol Farms that just opened up by our house in Beachwood. And we never stop by this shit box again. Good Box Organics is not only convenient, with the food being delivered right to my door, but is entirely healthy as well. The owners Samantha and Mark started this business in 2010 and have a mission of creating a healthier future. The best part is they work with local farmers to get all their produce and find multiple ways to give back to the community. They also have their Support a School program where they donate 5% back from every box sold. They have different boxes to choose from and different sizes as well. Some boxes are fruits only and others include fruits and vegetables. I went with the half size fruit and vegetable box. Before delivery, you get an email of what is going to be inside the box and the best part for me is, it includes recipes of what you can make with the items in your box. My box included an avocado, pears, apples, oranges, broccoli, cilantro, pink chard, and lettuce. One of the recipes included Baked Broccoli Parmesan Fritters which I am definitely going to try out because I always need new ideas for meals with having two small children. The delivery fee for their boxes is $6.95 or you can pick up the boxes for free at many of their local pickup locations. The service area covers the greater Los Angeles Area , San Fernando Valley, Pasadena, and Conejo Valley so definitely something for everyone!

The jicama slaw was refreshing and delicious and I love the GRAINS! Chewy and delicious. The meatballs were alright, they were slightly too salty for me and the coconut curry was nearly nonexistent and was more like a milky coconut sauce. But it was still good, the ingredients were balanced well and the bowl had a variety of textures and flavors. Portions seemed small but it was just right amount and carried me 'til dinner! But I thought $10 for a food truck bowl was too pricey. (Spotted: Thurs Lunchtime outside of work near Culver City. La Cienega/Blackweider Rd)

The meat was perfectly smoked tasting like bacon while all the rest of the ingredients extremely complimented each other. You can really tell that each person on this truck takes a lot of pride in what they're cookin, and that's clear based on the product that they're serving. Before enjoying my bowl, I was fortunate enough to try their onion rings. I gotta be honest, before receiving them I was expecting a standard onion ring. After the first bite I've already declared these as some of the BEST onion rings I've ever had. The trick is they pickle the onions first. It's so simple, but so genius. Unlike anything at a fast food joint, these o-rings are pretty light and not greasy at all. The dip that came alongside was also amazing (and orgasmic), to say the least. It's similar to a sour cream with other flavors. I'm not sure exactly what was in it, but I had to take it home, but actually didn't, due to being too busy dipping my finger in it to finish the rest. Make sure to try their desserts too as they have a pastry chef on the truck! The Pink Lemonade Cream Puffs seem to be their signature, but unfortunately they weren't on the menu during the time of my visit. I did however try the Stumptown Tiramisu and PB&J cakes. Both are succulent, moist, and a must try. Pico House is a great option for lunch and dinner that's not only healthy, but also delicious. Office Managers or Event Planners, I highly recommend getting these guys in for some catering.
