I called asking if they had availability the next day, had to wait until the following morning, and was promptly greeted by Ethan who rekeyed the front and back doors, and then ordered the deadbolt replacement. He provided all keys ordered and said he would invoice once he'd finished installing the deadbolt. All in, three locks and 6 keys was just around $200. What impressed me right away was how communicative he was and howhe kept me updated on his timing and arrival so I wasn't left wondering. It gave me time to walk down to the grocery before he arrived. When he arrived, he almost magically got the door open using my existing key. But what truly set him apart was what happened next. Instead of just unlocking the door and leaving, he took the time to figure out why it had jammed in the first place. The opening where the lock connected was slightly too small, causing it to stick. At no additional charge, he carefully filed it down to prevent the issue from happening again in the future. That level of care and professionalism is rare. He was able to open the door quickly within a few minutes. The technician was not super friendly but he got right to it. I did appreciate the quick service, the huge downside for me was the price- it was $264 and the technician made a comment about adding a tip and when we didn't say anything he said I guess you aren't tipping me which felt a bit unnecessary especially considering the high price of the service. Top 10 issues: Late to the scheduled appointment: My tenant waited for the confirmed 4:00 PM appointment, and the locksmith acknowledged being approximately 25-30 minutes late. Argumentative instead of apologetic: When I raised the lateness, the technician argued with me and actually stated that essentially nobody in Indianapolis arrives on time for service appointments. Inconsistent pricing: I was initially told the job would be "about $100," then approximately $150 was discussed once the technician arrived.. then the Initial invoice was $200: Despite those earlier price discussions, the first payment request I received was for $200, which I immediately disputed. Aggressive billing dispute: Rather than professionally resolving the pricing issue, the technician argued and demanded immediate payment. The invoice was ultimately corrected to $100, which I paid immediately. Tried to involve my tenant in payment: I had explicitly told the technician that I was paying, yet my tenant reported that he confronted her about payment anyway. Inappropriate behavior inside her home: My tenant immediately called me afterward and reported that the technician was rude, asked for her personal phone, and was "screaming and hollering" inside the residence. Took the newly installed keys: Most seriously, my tenant reported that during the payment dispute he demanded the keys back, took them from her hand, and left with them. I had to intervene to get her keys returned, I contacted the locksmith and demanded that the keys be returned. He eventually came back, and my tenant recovered them. She told me the incident was embarrassing enough that neighbors had come outside and were watching. Constant boasting instead of customer service: He repeatedly referenced being the "best company in town," 1,300+ Google reviews, BBB accreditation, and veteran status while arguing with me. To be very clear, this is not a complaint from someone refusing to pay. The corrected $100 invoice was paid and payment was confirmed. My issue is the lateness, contradictory pricing, argumentative communication, and especially how my tenant reported being treated inside her own home. Traffic happens. Scheduling issues happen. Even pricing disagreements happen. Professional companies resolve those problems without escalating them or involving and intimidating a tenant who is not responsible for the bill. One star. I will never use this company again and strongly recommend choosing another locksmith.

I asked via email for total amount of fees for their service and received cost of making duplicate key and fob only, I have that one quote saved in my email. When the serviceman arrived I again asked for the total price. The amount quoted me did not include $69.00 service fee and did not include their 6% charge card fee (double the 3% fee most other vendors add). I was asked to pay without seeing an invoice in writing, received said invoice via email after my account was charged. I sent an email request for at least the service charge to be refunded and I would eat the double charge card fee. No response whatsoever. I did have a better price on the key but not the fob. Had I known about the hidden charges, I would definitely gone elsewhere.
