What impressed me right away was how communicative he was and howhe kept me updated on his timing and arrival so I wasn't left wondering. It gave me time to walk down to the grocery before he arrived. When he arrived, he almost magically got the door open using my existing key. But what truly set him apart was what happened next. Instead of just unlocking the door and leaving, he took the time to figure out why it had jammed in the first place. The opening where the lock connected was slightly too small, causing it to stick. At no additional charge, he carefully filed it down to prevent the issue from happening again in the future. That level of care and professionalism is rare. I had purchased some replacement key fobs for my truck from Amazon and some keys from Ebay. I was a bit skeptical if they would work but had hope. The only catch with buying those is that you need a locksmith to program both the keys and the fobs. You cannot do it yourself without special equipment. I did a little research and came across this business. David was very responsive and we set up a date and time to meet. He has a mobile shop, so he has everything he needs in his truck, so it was easy for him to come to me. I had an event downtown and he was able to meet me there. He programmed both of my fobs and cut two keys in about 10 minutes. I was amazed. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I had one key made and fob programmed at the dealer a few months ago and it was more than double the price I paid. And they only did one set at the dealer. I got two done. I also waited much longer than I did with the Key Boss. They also offer many other services including lockout service, roadside assistance, and rekeying. I am a female Air Force veteran who locked myself out of my house this morning. I chose to call Key Boss based on Yelp reviews from previous customers. I was very pleased with the service I received. Mr. David was extremely professional and explained what was needed. Prior to his arrival, he quoted me a price. When he came to my house and saw the locks I have, he told me that he would have to make me a key because my locks couldn't be picked. I asked how much more that would cost, and he told me that he would charge the amount originally quoted because he should have asked more questiona at that time. He also let me have the key he made. He was very helpful and explained exactly what would need done in order to duplicate my key for my BMW. I wish however he would of been able to do at home vs having to tow my car which costed more money. In the end the only reason I didn't use him.
