I needed my house locks changed. I called asking if they had availability the next day, had to wait until the following morning, and was promptly greeted by Ethan who rekeyed the front and back doors, and then ordered the deadbolt replacement. He provided all keys ordered and said he would invoice once he'd finished installing the deadbolt. All in, three locks and 6 keys was just around $200. We unfortunately called another service first, and they were unable to unlock our deadbolt in an exterior door. Reached out to this place to get the locks changed at my new house. Easy scheduling, they were able to come over as early as the next day. The service man showed up ok time, took about an hour and a half to change 3 deadbolts and 3 door handle locks. He was even able to rekey a door that we did not have a key for super easily. An extremely fair price for the service and if you live close to their shop, you get a local discount! When my partner and I began dating, I had tough news about myself to break: unlike her father, who can build or fix anything, I was not the handy type. Just as society was shutting down due to the pandemic, the lock on my back door broke. The breakage rendered the door unusable. Since this was the perfect time in history to become handy, I got out my screwdriver and a hammer and went to work. Everything worked out well, right? Wrong. They came out for initial assessment and said they could repair doors and give quote. Company never quoted us for repairs. Showed up hours later than scheduled time slot twice. Only partially repaired 2 of 7 doors, without providing replacement parts they originally promised. Also, as they were doing repairs, they proceeded to talk about how poorly our house was built. Outstanding. Price to rekey a door lock and make a spare key - $16.00. They are WAY underpricing their services. Friendly fast service. Even though I live up North, I will travel to them every time I need lock services. They actually have a store - not like most of today's locksmiths who have only a phone number, a voicemail, and a truck to start with a trip charge. Well worth the drive. Had a great experience today with BR Lock Service. I had a sliding glass door where the lock mechanism broke. I tried a little DIY repair to no avail. I was concerned I would need a whole new lock. Don't go here to get car keys made. Their prices are ridiculous. I have a genuine key from my car manufacturer, but they told me it was incompatible before I even told them what brand it was. We had Broad Ripple lock out to our new house to re-key the whole house and we were really happy we did! They were on time (even called to offer to come early!) and did a great job.
