Aspen Tree Services of Long Island came and removed several trees from our Suffolk County property in June of 2024. The company came with a large team of both male and female workers; it was evident that the team works like a "well oiled machine" as all team members were actively playing a role in ensuring that safety took precedence and that our property was respected and kept tidy. The team members diligently removed the tree parts and debris as soon as the remnants of the trees touched the ground! We received estimates from 12-15 companies, but Aspen had the most competitive price(s)! Ralph is the owner and he was an amazing, dedicated man. He stayed until 7:30 at night to ensure that ALL of the multiple stumps had been grinded down on the same day that the trees had been removed. We would absolutely, without a doubt, hire this company again: if we need additional tree services! Please note that the company willingly shared proof of insurance (Certificate of Insurance) and proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance, which eased our worries as customers! Aspen Tree Service has done work for our home four times over the past five years and each time the experience was excellent. Ralph, the owner, comes within a day of being called to give a free estimate, and his crew shows up as scheduled each time. This most recent time (December 2025), a huge tree limb crashed on the patio during a snowstorm blocking the entrance door. They did the job within a few days. The crew, as always, were terrific. They worked efficiently cutting off the smaller branches and removing them, and stacking the usable wood for firewood, They used a leaf blower afterwards so the area was left clean and immaculate. Scheduled an estimate and was told on Friday they would be there between the hours of 2-4pm. No one showed. After that time frame that day I reached out and was told by Sharon that she forgot to input it into the computer system. I get it things happen. Rescheduled for that Monday and again was told Ralph would be there between the hours of 2-4pm. Once again, a no show. I called the office and Sharon, left a message and again was left without an estimate and this time a response. I even took a half day at work to get this done. I texted Sharon after two failed attempts I would unfortunately be looking elsewhere and didn't get a response back from that either. They had my phone number to notify me before they came to my door to do the work. Terrible customer service skills. They were totally professional and rearranged their schedule to come over immediately after PSEG trimmed a portion of the tree hanging over the electrical wires.
