Two knee specialists, different clinics, different cities, told me there was no more treatment that would relieve the pain in my knees or improve my mobility. Both suggested knee replacement surgery for both knees. I was faced with an impossible situation. I am primary caregiver for my husband who suffers from advanced Parkinson's Disease. Mobility and falls are primary issues for him. I couldn't see any way I could care for him while a surgical patient. We happened to see an ad for this clinic, and thought it was worth a visit. I took my medical records for a consultation and came away convinced that stem cell injections would be a good course of treatment for me. Two weeks later I had amniotic stem cell injections in both knees. They gave me knee braces to wear a couple of weeks, 4 PT sessions, and addition injections of Hyalgan to lubricate the joints while the stem cells did their repair. After about a month I found I had no more pain. It's been almost 3 years, and I'm still pain free.
