I rushed over (my appointment was at 2) i arrived at 2:20 only to be told that they only take patients before a 15 minute grace period. To be turned away for 5 minutes is immoral for a Drs office to do and ive never experienced anything like it. Especially since I made the appointment 3 weeks ago. I've been struggling severely with my health for the last 6 months and needed their help. I wasn't even a first time patient. It seemed its the staffs guilty pleasure to turn people away despite me explaining my situation because it seemed it brought her great pleasure. I would never trust this place with my health again and for my family and friends as well.

We made a trip to Urgent Care of Texas figuring we would be evaluated, provided a prescription for antibiotics/steroids and be on our way. That was not the case, we were assessed by Dr. Umar Saeed, and he immediately diagnosed us with bronchitis and bilateral ear infections with the possibility for ear drum rupture. We were taken from the exam room to the treatment room and started on IV fluids, steroids, antibiotics, and pain medication. Everyone from the front office receptionist, nursing staff and physician were professional, personable, kind, and caring. The facility is clean, comfortable, and quite large. After our IVs completed, discharge instructions were provided including worst case scenario for ruptured ear drums. Dr Saeed explained in a very calm, reassuring manner what an ear drum rupture would feel like, how to treat it and how long it would take to heal. Prescriptions for 10-day antibiotics and 5 days of steroids were submitted to our pharmacy and instructed to follow-up with our PCP in one week. However, if we were unable to obtain an appointment, we could return to the Urgent Care Center, and they would provide the check-up. I have never had the need to visit an Urgent Care Center, but I am ecstatic that my first experience was with the BEST one in Arlington, Texas. I had no idea the facility provided IV therapy and was treating five other patients ahead of us. Although we were there for four hours it was not an uncomfortable experience like lying on a gurney in the Emergency Room. Thank you, Dr. Saeed, and Staff, we are doing much better after your excellent care.

The event was advertised to run from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, yet we were turned away at the door by a nurse who stated that they had reached a 200-student limit and would not accept anyone else. The promotional materials mentioned absolutely nothing about a patient cap policy. Turning families away a mere 80 minutes into a three-hour event points to a severe lack of adequate staffing and proper event planning. As I left, I witnessed numerous other parents pulling in, only to face the same rejection. This was an incredibly poor experience, and our family will be taking our business elsewhere.

It took me nearly 3 weeks to get my first appointment with them. A year later I had to get something else checked out and they were booked for 2 weeks. I get its not their fault but it would be nice to have more appointments available. All 3 - ish ( I lost track) times that I been they have been fully staffed at the front desk, I been greated and welcomed in. The front staff has answered all my questions and were professional in handling my paperwork. The techs that had help me were very caring and showed empathy towards me. The facility inside was clean and organized. Whenever I go in they are always patient with me when I ask a ton of questions. These last few months have been a new experience for me. Friendly and knowledgeable people working here made my visits easier. First time I came here it was hard to find the front door haha. Pull into the parking lot and you will see the big double doors with sings to all the offices they have there. Dont go by the numbers on the smaller doors on the side of the building haha. I usually always get morning appointments so I get there when it is not crowded. The parking lot can get a little busy but there is parking there trust me.

However their office will blow up your phone with text and calls constantly about paperwork, and confirming. etc. They even text you at 7:00 a.m about things. It's a lot! Furthermore if you need MRI"s or treatment they only do it at Baylor Scott & White in Arlington on Highland. I will never go there again if that is the only place the doctors at Arlington Orthopedics can send patients to. If I thought that Arlington Orthopedics was bad about blowing up up your phone, Baylor is a thousand times worse especially when it comes to getting their money before your procedure! I received multiple calls and text from multiple people there daily wanting their money. We were waiting for our insurance to process claims from another procedure somewhere else where our deductible could be seen by Baylor. Still the day before my procedure they sent another text saying they have to have my payment tomorrow in all caps! What business does this? Even on the day of we had to sit in the business office and hash all this over again and again which made things very stressful before having a procedure. Lastly out of 2 visits there, I have only encountered one nice person. No one there cares about anything except getting your money. My advice is to think long and hard about Arlington Orthopedics if you think you may need an actual procedure and then you better have your money ready and your ducks in a row. Baylor Scott & White is very aggressive in getting their money. That's all that matters to them.
