5 stars for medical staff. Dr and his PA were amazing. After checking in, I overheard the office staff gossiping but decided to ignore. None of my business, though unprofessional. I waited for an hour in the waiting room before being called back. I suppose this is ok, I would rather wait there for an hour than in a smaller room. Once called, the PA was very efficient. Doctor was very nice and professional. My visit required a CT scan, which they offer on-site. PA informed me that they were waiting for insurance approval. This took longer than normal. I chalked it up to just dealing with insurance. After about 30 minutes waiting, I told them I would cover whatever the cost was just to move things along. Once I signed the paper saying I'd pay the full price. Things moved along nicely once again. Doctor explained process and then results immediately. Discussed treatment options thoroughly and gave me scripts. He asked that I return in a few weeks, once meds had a chance to work to re-evaluate results and next steps. I approached the checkout counter and requested a copy of lab work order. The scheduling person said, "I don't do that. That's not my job." When the PA came to deliver my lab work orders, after she heard me request them, the office person gave her attitude as well. She then asked me what I needed. She confirmed I'd already paid, and said, "do you need anything else?" I thought about scheduling the next appointment but I felt like Pooh and decided I'd call to schedule instead of having to interact with this person any longer. Doctors are awesome. Office staff if seriously rude and unprofessional. I have since seen a different ENT and found the entire office staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. What an absolute waste of my time and $400. I went In with hopes to resolve trouble swallowing and some throat issues. The staff was wonderful. The doctor was a complete joke. He had me already diagnosed in his mind before he did any testing, and literally cut me off when i would try to explain anything. He gaslit me like a pro, telling me i wasnt experiencing what i was experiencing because the 30 second test he did was clear. And the icing on the cake was he told me the problem was GERD. A condition I've had for 20 years, had 2 surgeries to correct, and currently take medicine for. It ain't that, this is new. Nope, he wouldn't hear it. THEN he sends me home with an order for a barium swallow. Why would i need a test that diagnoses a problem i already know i have??? Maybe the other doctors are great. Dr Pena ain't it. read more

Okay, so I have mixed feelings about Central Park ENT. After reading mist of their reviews, I decided to schedule an appointment anyway-mainly because my insurance had already approved my tongue surgery procedure. So, I will make this review pretty short even though my experience has been an interesting one. First, I want to say that all of the reviews regarding communication is on point. The communcation here kind of sucks. It took me about 1 or so months just to schedule an appointment because their offices kept playing phone tag with me. Not to mention, at one point they said they would call back and never did. I continued to chase this office to schedule. I was very concerned about my procedure due to the communication issues. As for payment, I have not had any issues with payment or communicating about the payment. Now, I was told minimal information about my procedure, including the appointment time was tentative until the day before when they confirmed the appointment. As for what I needed to pay for, I was definitely prepared for that. As for the knowledge, Dr. Rene Peña was THE MOST knowledgeable. He answered all of my pre-op questions regarding my holistic diet. I asked about manuka, cinnamon, tumeric, eleutro, ashwaganda, and other adaptogenic herbs and spices and I was surprised that he knew about them and could confidently inform me about the impacts of my diet and how it may affect my healing. Overall, my diet was not a problem. I was definitely fearful that some 'blood thinning' spices would impact my pre-op and post-op healing. As for my post-op appointments, communication had improved a little bit by the time of post-op. For that I am grateful for As I was no longer anxious due to their office office could heal decently. Would I ever visit this office again..maybe. I would only see Dr. Rene Peña though. read more

I arrived to take my niece to post-op. After speaking and confirming I as the Aunt was good to bring her. Upon arrival I was told forms were suppose to be signed. I asked why was this not stated over the phone before I drove over an hour to get here. They had no answer and could not figure out what this disconnect was. *Spoke to Patty and was told the audiogram needs to be rescheduled. My confusion with this is when we spoke to whomever called us on the phone they stated the audiogram could not be rescheduled and had to happen today. Now there is no window for this because we missed it because their associate said we were good to go and nothing about forms. I would find a different ENT if you can. read more

I went here today for a right thyroid lobectomy and everyone was great except for my post op nurse Charity. I woke up confused and I kept asking her where was I. I started crying and I after I became more alert, I asked for my daughter. She was explaining stuff to me and I couldn't understand it while I was still drowsy. I asked her did she believe in God, because I couldn't believe the way that she was act as if I was bothering her. Also I asked for an ice pack that I didn't receive, she gave my daughter empty ice packs (but forgot the one for my neck), also she didn't give me post of instructions at all. I told her that she was making me very anxious and it was making my pain worse because I was scared. I never in my life want to meet her again. ( Natalie,Julie,Dr.Frankie,Dr.Lee,Melanie,(Front Desk Lady name starts with an N, and the lady who removed my IV ,and the scrub tech,and the guy who monitored my right laryngeal during the surgery were all amazing people. I was ready to go after I met Charity. She has no patience and lacks compassion for the patients recovering from anesthesia. I had an unfortunate terrible experience trying to get feedback from Dr's Thomas staff. They wouldn't give me results over the phone as the policy is to do this in person! I lw Friday early and no call.( I found the results) and nobody knows why this was ever ordered He and his MA has still not called. I had a pain behind my ear.. he ordered an mri? I wanted to know the results as I didn't want to go the whole weekend without any info. It is now Monday afternoon and no call! This is a poor poor way to leave any patient wondering!! I had my first appointment with Dr. Thomas today. I rarely write reviews but my experience was so stellar that I had to give feedback. I have an ear condition that is unusual and has worsened over time. After finally deciding to seek an ENT input I had an appointment with a provider at another facility and it was not a good experience. So I sought out a second opinion. I found Dr. Thomas after lots of research and reviews and recommendations. He was incredible! He took the time to listen to my history and weird symptoms, asked a lot of questions, and has developed a comprehensive plan to investigate the cause of my out-of-the-box condition. I am looking forward to working through this with him. I was not promised a solution because it's still too unknown but I have full confidence that he will make every attempt to uncover the cause. Front office is terrible, My husband had a appt two in a half months ago and they sent the preauth a week ago since they waited until the week before surgury . due to their lack of. He now has to reschedule surgery after being miserable and needing surgery asap. We both have taken off of work and someone took my shift and now i am out hours for a crap uneducated front office. I'm giving a 4 star primarily for Dr. Scoresby and woman who took me to the exam room....It's been a few years since the last time I visited Central Park ENT in Arlington however I can recall having better experiences then compared to now. The girl at the front had a very dry personality, never made eye contact and just overall seemed annoyed as if she didn't want to be at work today. I get 755a is pretty early however I'm sure this isn't your 1st day nor your 1st job if you're not a morning person maybe you should look into working in the back or elsewhere with later hours sweetheart. When I called to get seen I did choose the earliest time because the earlier the better for me however when I show up I'm still having to wait more than 10 minutes to get called back. Luckily I was off today so u wasn't pressed for time but this wasn't a short commute especially with early morning traffic. Overall once I did get back there I was done on less than 15 mins I do love and always prefer to see Dr. Scoresby keep being awesome at what you do sir! read more

The doctor and the audiologist were nice and seemed knowledgeable. The office staff on the other hand needs a lot of help. I was provided with the price of my services and was told that it would not cover any additional services. No problem, because I asked if I would be told to cost before they did anything and was told 'yes' by the receptionist/office worker. I had my hearing test and then my appointment with the doctor, looked in my ears, nose, and throat, felt my sinuses, and then sprayed some stuff in my nose and said he wanted to take a closer look to see if there was anything there should not be. I sat there for a few minutes and was told we would be switching rooms. I was taken to the room right across from the office staff. I was told he would be looking and took this this long scope/ camera which took approximately 2-3 minutes. I was then told he wanted me to have a CT of my sinuses. I went to the counter and figured they would just tell me have a nice day bye, NOPE you owe $250.15. Wait I was told that I WOULD BE TOLD of any additional cost for service would be relayed before the service. I am very upset and they I was told to sit in the lobby and she will take a look at it and see what she could do. See what you can do??? No you should not have to see what you can do, if you actually care about patients. See what you can do sounds shady. I will NEVER give my business to this company, because they do not care about you they just want to collect a $$$ read more

This really hurts my heart that during a pandemic Dr. Pina wouldn't work out a payment play with me to get tubes in my ear to stop the fluid, dizziness, and my lost of hearing. l've sent friends and family to him praising his great work ethics and it hurts to my soul that he would deny me after knowing I'm in pain. Terrible place, especially the Fort Worth office. It's pretty much a bare room where they don't have most of their equipment. Dr. Lee was very cold and didn't describe anything or really provide any information at all. Then when I tried to schedule a follow up after a burst ear drum, they said he was out of the office on vacation for 2 weeks and refused to let me see any other doctor in the practice while he was out and said he was full after he got back. Refused... after I had a burst ear drum even though they have at least 3 other doctors there. Don't even bother with these people. They don't care about you or your health. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Dana Gibbs at the Central Park ENT location in Arlington, TX for several years. She was awesome! Dr. Dana Gibbs recently retired so I was faced with needing a new ENT doctor at that location if possible. An appointment was made by the clinic for me to see Dr. Tyler Scoresby. What a mistake...horrible experience! Talk about coming across as conceited, self-centered, uncaring and lack of knowledge regarding cochlear implants, hearing loss and concern for my tube in left ear...worse experience ever for me! At the age of 55, I've seen many doctors, had a few surgeries and procedures and have never had a worse experience than with Dr. Tyler Scoresby. I will be finding a new ENT doctor with another clinic from this experience. What a waste of my time and money from me and my insurance. Don't waste yours with Dr. Tyler Scoresby! read more

Incompetent Dr. there who couldn't diagnose a simple enough ear problem. Insisted I have an audio test, as if the solution was likely to be there. Acted like he was a genius, too busy to look into my ear. Recommended I see a dermatologist and a rheumatologist, anything but "think" about the issue. In contrast, Dr. Wu ( Cross Timbers ENT) had no problem! The staff at Central Park ENT is in disarray. They don't takecalls directly and don't call back when you have an urgent question. They are probably overworked and have to deal with the likes of him. Their system of reminding you about appointments is more than annoying: 2 texts, a voice mail, and an email. Ridiculous. One doctor there seemed good Dr. Gibbs, lucky she saw me when the Physician Assistantsought her advice. read more

My son was referred to this office due to recurrent t ear infections. At that time he was on his 4th in 4 weeks. After seeing Dr. Thomas last Thursday, we were supposed to get a call on Monday to schedule for tubes. Never got a call. Today is Wednesday and we called back to check at status and to let them know my son is showjng full blown signs of another ear infection. The MA told us we would have to finish the antibiotic which hAd another 5 days to go to make 11 days total. The mom in me said screw thatt. Called his primary and they looked at his ear and stated they are very surprised his ear drum has not ruptured at this point and that if I would have waited like that MA told me, we would be in a very different spot. I would have appreciated the opportunity to decide for myself whether or not I wanted to wait an hour to see the dr I had scheduled an appointment with...I absolutely understand that emergencies come up, but they should have let me know and decide whether or not I needed to reschedule. I felt like they did not value my time or show me that courtesy. Doctors need to be careful because we are not only patients, but customers as well and they are not the only ENT practice that was recommended to me. Do you enjoy having to leave a message and then hoping you get a call back to schedule an appointment? If so, this is the place for you. I came to this office for several years without any complaints and then sometime early 2014 things in the office changed. Frequently I would have to leave a message to make an appointment only to wait for hours and sometimes days before I could get anyone to help me. The doctor I was seeing quit or retired between my appointment and follow up appointment (a 3 week time period). The front office staff had no idea what to say about his sudden departure so I took my doctor reassignment and figured all would be well. After two visits the new doctor said he couldn't help me and sent me away with some business cards for a specialist. I schedule my appointment with the specialist and then call Central Park to find out how to send over my records. Easy I was told, fill out the form on the website and get it back to us. Sounds easy, right? I fill out the form but there are no instructions on how to get it back to them. I call, no answer. Call again. Nobody is available. Figure I will hand deliver the paper to the office. Hand it over and I am told it will be handled that day. I don't think to call the specialist I am going to for verification records were sent so I go in and the doctor says he doesn't have my records but the nurse is calling and seeing what she can do. He advised he would call me back in a few days once he had everything together and we could discuss the issue over the phone since I live an hour away from his office. I wait a week and call the specialist to find that my records were not sent over. I call Central Park and surprise, leave a voicemail. I call a few hours later and still nobody available to take my call. I end up emailing the office via their contact us form on the site and within an hour someone emails me back. I finally get that person on the phone to find that my records were never sent and the form I left at the office with my personal information is nowhere to be found. I am eventually connected with the person who handles the records and she acts like its not a big deal with this wasn't handled properly. The form has to be somewhere but who knows where that could be weeks after I dropped it off. Is it a big deal to Central Park that my treatment that they couldn't handle is being held up because the office staff can't do their jobs? No, they don't seem to think so. I had an in office procedure done in the summer of 2014 and the billing was not accurate on that either. A mistake that could have cost me hundreds more than they quoted me when they verified my benefits. If you don't mind waiting around for your appointment or having to leave messages (don't even bother to leave a message because rarely will you get a call back) this practice might work well for you. If you have high standards for treatment and general customer service I suggest you keep looking for another practice because this office will fail you many times over. read more

Unhappy front office staff. Better customer service at McDonald's. Two visits to care now and finally an appointment with an Ent. Dr. Thomas dismissed my complaints of jaw, neck and cheek pain. His advice try heat and nose spray. ( been doing for a month already) Come back in Three weeks so I can charge your insurance again for nothing. I told the pregnant office lady collecting my copay that this was a waste of my time. She shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Centrepark ENT has an excellent dedicated staff looking out for your well-being. I will be bringing my daughter here who snores like a freight train when she needs to get her tonsils out. Scheduling for an appointment was prompt and they immediately called me back. There were no issues with my Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. Watch out carefully for this outfit because they have different contracts for many doctors. My healthcare plan has them as "in network" but the doctor I got on my visit was not. I was referred to Central Park ENT (and Dr Pena specifically) by my pulmonologist to see if there was some nasal problem that was causing my breathing issues. That was over a year ago. I had sinus surgery in Sept of 2016 and everything has been wonderful since then. The staff has always been super friendly and I always felt like they cared about how I was doing.
