The staff is professional and engaging.... to be fair they are more like family. Melissa , Mo, JT and Nick are absolutely the best. They support the clientele in anyway possible. There is not a better place to go if you are serious about recovery. The clients are amazing as well. We function as a family and everyone helps to support one another no matter what problems we may have. Everyone has a story and no matter how docile or extreme your story may be you will find multiple people, staff and clients, who understand and sympathize with your situation. To start off they treat clients like friends not patients. They make inappropriate comments towards clients. Therapist said quote "youre probably gonna get pregnant first time you Have sex". I didn't know all of this stuff was wrong because of the headspace i was in at the time. They said most of my problems were For attention and behavioral issues. I do not recommend this place to anyone. They used to let kids vape in the substance group room and outside aswell.... I think Aspire counseling is poorly managed and they do not treat the clients right. I think you should go anywhere else if seeking help For mental health or sobriety. They talk inappropriate about clients issues and talk badly about clients to other clients. The male therapist offered buy me a vibrator if it was ok with my parents. I have never been a client at this facility, but I am a former employer of the SUD program's executive director, Monique. I have known Monique for several years, and I could not be more proud of the way she conducts herself and her facility. She is truly empathetic, compassionate and motivating toward all clients and staff she works with. Monique puts everything she has into helping people recovery from substance abuse disorders. I recently went to Aspire seeking treatment for past trauma/stress. I can't speak for the Alcohol and drug recovery side but I can for those who are going for anything else. This was also my first time trying therapy on a regular basis. I would not recommend this place to anyone who needs help dealing with their trauma/stress/anxiety. They do not have your best interest at heart. All they care about are numbers on their attendance and billing your insurance. A woman who works there named Kelly, will try her best to make you feel guilty and pressured into coming into therapy even if you are not benefiting from it. This was an extremely disheartening and disappointing experience. Don't waste your time here, it may leave you worse off. read more

I can't recommend this place enough. The staff and programs available here are amazing and life changing. The strength of this program is how comfortable they make everyone feel. Other services sometimes feel cold and harsh. This is completely the opposite of that. All the counselors have a true ability to assess the client and guide anyone through what can be a very scary process. Every meeting is unique and special in what it has to bring those in recovery to a place of healing. In addition, the people I've met in this group are the most incredible human beings. Group is not only learning tools to cope or overcome addiction, but it is a place to make friends and a community that is healthy and genuine to lead to a healthier and happy life. Aspire is an Intensive Outpatient Program for drug and alcohol abuse. The groups are Mon, Wed & Friday from 5pm to 8pm. If you cannot attend in person, you may attend via Zoom. Aspire conducts 11 panel urine drug & alcohol tests to its clients on a random biweekly basis. They work with almost all health insurance companies or you may also pay out of pocket, whatever your preference. The clients are open and friendly, which makes you feel comfortable and at home. The counselors and staff are dedicated and professional, which comes in handy if you are needing this program for a court case. I personally needed to request progress report letters, copies of negative drug tests and completion letters on a regular basis for my court situation. The staff was never overwhelmed or annoyed by any of my document requests and the response time was always within the hour, which was always impressive. I really connected with the other clients working on their sobriety, Aspire became a Home away from Home for me. A place where I didn't feel judged. An environment where I could openly share my story. A group of likeminded people who were working on the same goal of trying to live their best life without substances. Hello my name is Delia Trujillo,and I love aspire the Councelers they are very caring and educated When I went to Aspire for the first time I felt an uplifting feeling,and I really look forward to my meetings,everyone there is very friendly and so willing to hep with whatever you might be going thru they are willing to help you get thru. They have taught me coping skills and today I am 137 days clean and sober thanks to God and all the staff at Aspire ,they really helped me .I hope to continue attending meetings there. My daughter attended the Behavior Health program at Aspire. Previously, we lived in Kern County and she had graduated from the Substance Abuse program and did very well. She stayed sober for over a year after graduating but had a few slip ups. We decided to move to Santa Clarita a couple of years ago for a fresh start. She needed to get away from her old friends. My daughter became very closed off and it was apparent there was something wrong. We called Aspire in Bakersfield where they informed me they have a facility in Santa Clarita so we took her in. We met with Kelly who assessed her. Kelly told us that it was her professional opinion that my daughter had some underlying mental health issues that hadn't been addressed and that she may have been coping with her mental health in the past by self medicating with substances. My daughter has a lot of past trauma and she hadn't wanted to talk to a p[professional about it but after meeting Kelly she opened up and was willing. My daughter completed the behavior health program and seems to be doing very well. I have not personally attended groups at this location, but did at Simi Valley and the substance abuse program director Kelly Kozlowski has been my personal therapist for almost a year at this point, even after my IOP treatment ended. Her commitment to her clients and to Aspire in general are awe inspiring. The amount of progress I have achieved in combatting both my substance abuse issues and the mental health issues which led to my addiction has far exceeded my expectations. When I first stsrted at Aspire I could not have imagined how much better my life would be in such a relatively short time. I highly recommend the programs for both substance abuse and mental health and cannot rave enough about Kelly. read more

I will acknowledge that I have never been a patient at this facility, but I know the management staff and can say with every fiber of my being that they are helping people to recover from addiction for no other reason than that... to help people recover from addiction. I've been around the recovery community for a long time and there are lots of places that are "cash grabs"... billing insurance (and you) a ton of money with minimal care and compassion.
