I visited the Aspire International Lounge at Montréal-Trudeau Airport during my layover, and as a Priority Pass member I was able to get in without any issues. In my opinion, it feels more like a restaurant-style experience than a typical lounge, and I mean that in the best way possible. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Staff members really take care of you, making the whole visit feel elevated and personalized. The food was excellent, with fresh, high-quality dishes that far exceed standard airport fare. Whether you want a light snack or a full meal, there's something delicious for everyone. The space is clean, comfortable, and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind between flights. Overall, the Aspire International Lounge is absolutely worth a visit. Great service, great food, and a unique restaurant-style atmosphere. Highly recommended!

This lounge accepts American Express and Priority Pass members. I came here on a Saturday afternoon with my partner and there wasn't a wait, but there were only bar seats available. It's a small lounge with some bar seating, seats looking outside, and some tables. It is not free seating here, the hostess took us to our seats. She was not that friendly. The interior looks nice and high end. However, it seems mostly for show. You scan a QR code to order. At the bar, we could only order one food item and drink at a time. Food and drinks took 10-15 minutes to get to us and you can't order more till you receive the items for the prior order. Tea, coffee, and water are the only items you can grab on your own. We first ordered the fruit salad which was not a good dish. They added a syrup to it and it tasted way too sweet. Next was the chicken with honey and rosemary sauce, which was very salty and I couldn't eat more than a few bites. We then decided to move to an open table since the sun was shining on us too much. I approached the same hostess from earlier and she made a fuss about moving us. She eventually passed us off to another employee who was much nicer. Luckily our experience got better after that. The focaccia of the day was good, soft, and flavorful. The toast with butternut squash was sweet and saucy which I love. The kale salad with roasted chicken was decent, but the chicken was a bit unfresh. I got the salted caramel ice cream as a nice finish.

The space is open, with only a planter separating the lounge from the regular terminal traffic, so it didn't feel particularly secluded or relaxing. Instead of the calm, elevated atmosphere you typically expect from an airport lounge, this felt more like a casual cafeteria. The food selection was also pretty limited. There was a beef and noodle dish, fried rice, and another random option that didn't really pair with the others. The beef dish was extremely salty, two bites and I was done. Overall, the lounge experience just didn't feel very premium or exclusive. I ended up leaving early and spending the rest of my wait time at the gate instead.

I arrived a little early and was turned away, even though the app said access is allowed up to three hours before departure. The staff member would not let me in and simply told me to come back later. That was not a good start. When I finally got in at around 10:25 a.m., I was told lunch service would begin at 10:30, so I took some breakfast items first. The breakfast was very basic, similar to the free breakfast you would get at a budget hotel: hash browns, scrambled eggs, and similar items. There were also a few desserts like cakes. If you do not drink alcohol and would need to pay out of pocket for this lounge, I honestly think your money would be better spent elsewhere. The lounge was crowded, and the floor did not look very clean. It also took more than 20 minutes for staff to replace food, during which part of the food area was closed. I was also surprised they did not even have mint tea, which seems like a very standard option. Lunch was also underwhelming and felt like an odd mix: the same hash browns, mango chicken with bell peppers, mac and cheese, pumpkin soup, and chips with salsa. The pumpkin soup was the one item I actually enjoyed. I could not eat the mango chicken because of my allergy, which limited my options even more. Overall, this did not feel like a premium lounge experience at all. It was crowded, the food was mediocre, and the service left a poor first impression. I did not even stay for the full two hours. I expected much better from something marketed as a premium lounge.

Yelp Review 2026 #57:…read more Air Canada's Maple Leaf Lounge at Montréal International Airport does the job. I got here around 5:30am and breakfast was being served. The lounge was pretty empty allowing me to enjoy and relax. I picked a seat where I can put my plate of food on some sort of table and somewhere where I can plug and charge my electronics. The bathroom was clean. Hand soap and lotion available. This lounge was clean and employees were regularly making their rounds ensuring the cleanliness of the space and plates/ cups/ glasses are cleared. The spread for breakfast was pretty good. Cold and hot food. Cold and hot beverages. Yogurt, fruits, cheese, deli turkey, veggies, baked beans, Canadian bacon, scrambled eggs, bagels, bread, croissants, cream cheese, butter balls, hardboiled eggs, granola, condiments. Coffee, milk, tea, soda, juice, water, and alcohol. The highlights: bagels and croissants were surprisingly good! About 6:30am, more people showed up and seats were getting occupied, the space got busier and louder. The bathroom got messier so quick by guests that don't know how to clean up after themselves and expect somebody else to do it for them yet complain how dirty it was! Unbelievable!

It's a good-sized airport but still very easy to navigate and completely walkable. The airport appears to have been recently updated (almost new) with a sleek and modern design throughout. What stood out most to me was how empty it felt both on arrival and departure. There were plenty of open seats, not crowded at all. The biggest downside was the food selection, especially in the U.S. terminal. There were only a couple dining options and one lounge with fairly underwhelming food offerings. That said, gates and flight information were easy to find, and overall the airport functions efficiently and smoothly. Next time I'd probably get my own food before heading to the airport, but otherwise it does exactly what you need it to do.

We spent some time in the international section recently (our flight to Punta Cana was delayed several hours). No problem - I went shopping, lol. I was disappointed though to see Victoria's Secret boutique is gone, as well as the vintage luxury shop. They seem to be renovating that area, so that's probably why. Made some purchases at The Loop and got some macarons from La Biscuitterie - very delicious for airport macarons! I have never had (yet) a bad experience or long lineup at security here (so far). As far as airports go, I would take that one anytime over smaller airports with nothing to do.
