the AC maple leaf lounge in Montreal was a huge let down. I thought it would be nicer as a lot of their staff are based here. Maybe because it's domestic it's sucks. Didn't have a chance to see international one. But it's much worst than the one in Toronto in terms of food selection. Ie no muffins or cookies. Less crowded so it's a plus but washrooms were smaller. Glad I didn't pay extra for this.

This lounge is on the domestic side of YUL. Located across from gate 2 with very friendly lounge dragons. There is a cold and hot food spread setup buffet style. The food goes fast but also replenished quickly also. There are no showers here but the washrooms are very clean and well maintained.

Reasonable food, prompt service. A nice refuge to make any trip plan alterations or weather delays bearable.

It's a good-sized airport but still very easy to navigate and completely walkable. The airport appears to have been recently updated (almost new) with a sleek and modern design throughout. What stood out most to me was how empty it felt both on arrival and departure. There were plenty of open seats, not crowded at all. The biggest downside was the food selection, especially in the U.S. terminal. There were only a couple dining options and one lounge with fairly underwhelming food offerings. That said, gates and flight information were easy to find, and overall the airport functions efficiently and smoothly. Next time I'd probably get my own food before heading to the airport, but otherwise it does exactly what you need it to do.

First of all, the lounge is laid out well with different types of seating from bar stools to booths to cushioned seats. It's also kept clean of clutter. It looked spotless when I went around 8 a.m. on a Monday in July. Every table/place to sit comes with a QR code you scan to order made-to-order dishes. For breakfast, they had toasts, avocado toast, eggs, breakfast sandwiches and more. The sausage breakfast sandwich was hearty and comes with potatoes. At the bar are fruit cups, yogurt, and fresh fruit. They have an area for to-go boxes if you're in a rush. There are alcoholic drinks at the bar and several coffee machines that make lattes, etc. They also have orange and apple juice for breakfast. Many tables have magazines on them, outlets nearby, and strong wi-fi. Staff are friendly and attentive. One thing to note is that there are no restrooms inside, but there are nearby.
