3.5 stars. Oh how I've missed airport lounges during the pandemic lockdown! Had a few hours of layover between YUL and VCE, so I decided to camp out at the National Bank Salon for a few hours--eating, drinking, and making phone calls. The lounge had a very business-like aesthetic, accentuated by the square furniture and digital ad walls. With that said, there weren't too many customers in the middle of the day, which was nice. As a COVID precaution, everyone getting food needed to wear gloves to serve themselves. The food itself was tasty! Especially loved the pasta dish they had that day. There were also pastries, not to mention aperol spritzes at the bar. Customer service was fantastic. Your empty plate never sat on a table for more than few minutes with their hawk eyes. YUL is a fantastic airport, and this lounge is the perfect complement. read more

The only reason this place is not getting 5 stars is because it is crowded and a bit noisy. That said, it is one of the few lounges with hot food (besides soups) and they have proper bar tenders to make cocktails and pour your wine. They had a salad bar, 3 soup options and 3 hot meals (2 of which were vegetarian), lots of desserts and lots of drink options. I will certainly be back and I highly recommend the lounge. read more

Good food selection. Very clean and the staff very friendly. Open and airy too. Had a couple glasses of white wine and the meatballs from the buffet. All were delicious. I was there as a guest and if I lived in the area would have this bank card to be able to use this lounge. read more

This is the first National Bank World Mastercard Lounge I ever visited. I do like the additional option of airport lounge at YUL, hopefully there will be more Lounges opening up in other airport across Canada. The design here is modern and chic. Love the huge windows that overlooking the runways. The drinks: both alcoholic and non alcoholic selection is decent. When I was there, there were a bartender/server so it was not self service. There were also hot and cold food available. My only complaint is probably the place seems to be packed and the noise level was high during my visit. read more

Broken elevator, line up the stairs to get on. No admission with AX platinum as it's "too crowded". Never had this experience!

Big lounge, appreciate that it has set ups for food and drink on two ends. Plenty of seats and space. Variety of hot and cold foods, including the standard alcoholic drinks (whiskey among them) and also juices/coffee machine/canned soda. Only thing I would say is so ambiguous with this lounge is if you have priority pass. It's odd to me that this lounge doesn't disclose the price. I told them my policy is I get two free guests and they told me they didn't know, and they would charge me but they wouldn't know how much they charge me because we can't talk about price. that is is "between you and the card." I haven't had that happen to me once with priority pass lounges. read more

YUL isn't necessarily known for their lounges and it's pretty evident when it comes to those not part of the Star Alliance team with Air Canada. The National Bank World MasterCard lounge is open to essentially everyone else as well as Priority Pass holders, which is a definite plus! The lounge itself is pretty basic in amenities. You have some light bites with croissants (we are in French Canadia), salami, turkey, and other crispy nibbles. Drinks include a selection of wine, beer, and some hard liquor you can mix with- however they ran out of Coke when I came this time around. How does that happen? Given the availability of the lounge to a wide range of customers, it can get pretty crowded inside. It felt like there was always somebody moving around grabbing something while inside, so you may find it hard to get much work done if that's your objective. While basic in offerings, it's still an escape from the crazy hustle and bustle that exists in the regular terminal. Drop by and have a bite before your flight if you have access! read more

Mediocre experience today at this lounge. The lounge itself is nicely decorated and is very large. Large windows allow a lot of light in. When I was there (17h-19h) on a Thursday, there was a ton of people and always a line at the front desk trying to get in. It was super loud and hectic. This is why I question the design of the place. There were only 12 seats at the dining area which made it difficult to get a spot. The food itself was nothing special. The salad bar was sad-looking, the soup was empty and wasn't replaced for 40 minutes, the chicken was pretty gross. The pastries and bagels were standard. I had a free pass but I would not pay to enter this lounge otherwise. Contrary to previous reviews, we could serve ourselves drinks. The line-up queue was backed up in front of the staircase and since reception is small already, seemed very dangerous and they could have deployed staff earlier. There was a line-up for drinks as well and the lounge was packed. Food was average quality and drinks were well made. Staff are very pleasant and nice however, it would've been better if there was crowd and noise control. This was a decent lounge, with a very generous open bar selection, a family friendly zone, and buffet style edibles (sweet and sour chicken, rice, and steamed vegetables). I would have preferred there to be more table-seating as I needed to get some work done in between my flights, but fortunately, I was able to hunker down at the end of the lounge and be productive. Overall, the staff were very accommodating, friendly, and the internet allowed for online gaming without any lags. Considering this lounge was just directly outside our gate, I think the National Bank World MC Lounge was perfect for the occasion. read more

Ugh. I still feel dirty having left the lounge and on my flight. Came here on a Friday evening connecting flight, only to realize it is busy time for the international departure area. The lounge had a line up, we took the elevator up with my baby only to be told we should go back down and wait in line to go up the stairs with baby and baby gear? Not at all practical, what exactly is the elevator for then? So we left, only to realize anywhere else to eat in the airport had a line up and no seating as well. These things are not easy when you have kids. A half hour wait for food is ETERNITY with a child. So we went back to the lounge and by then the line was gone and there was room for us. The lounge looks nice. But it is dirty. Food and dirty plates everywhere. Kids area is a mess with worn out grungy toys. The bathroom toilet did not flush, the sink did not drain well. And someone did a good job of spitting out their food or vomiting into it. Basically the airport bathrooms are in a better state. The food reminds me of a low budget cafeteria. Flavoured rice. Flavoured pasta. Brownie bites. I had a hard time finding a clean glass, or bowl. Everything I tried was almost empty. Sigh. It was just unpleasant and crowded and noisy. Had the restaurant downstairs had more room I would of rather of eaten there. read more

I was quit eager to try this lounge and was quite disappointed. The lounge is far from being relaxing. It was extremely loud and crowded and the set up can be overwhelming when walking in with bright lights. Quite the opposite of what I was looking for. Having tried other lounges such as: AC across Canada, premier lounges and the ANA lounge, this one doesn't quite meet the standard. I love this airport lounge! There is plenty of space, clean and the food served is very decent, better than other airport lounge (AC lounge in Toronto). The bathroom are well designed with individual cabinet to get some privacy whole taking care of your business before a flight!!! Good coffee, all the liquor you want and good wifi! I was happy to see a lounge available at the Montreal Airport. The airport was very crowded and not much of a selection for food. Most of the restaurants had decent sized lines. When I walked into this lounge and saw hot food it was a relief! It's not the best food but it was good enough to satisfy my hunger. I love the view of the runway and the drink selection. The biggest issue with this place is that it was pretty crowded and they didn't have a large enough selection of seating with tables. Hopefully they can add more tables in the future so that it's easier to eat or use your laptop. read more

Today I couldn't get out of the elevator to check in so decided to head to one of the bars downstairs. My wife and I both visited the National bank world mastercard lounge on a monday evening, the place wasnt too crowded and the atmosphere was very warm and cozy. The noise level is very reasonable, it can allow you to close your eyes and relax. The food was amazing, we were there at peak dinner time and the buffet kepts beeing refilled. There was also vegetarian options. A wide selection of desserts and drink were also available. I usually do not visit the lounge in my hometown airports but this lounge made me change my mind! Scam Their website states that World Elite Mastercard cardholders and a guest can have free entry to this lounge. The person at the front desk who admitted us didn't say a word about charging my credit card, and even said I had 2 more free passes on my account. I sat around for 20 minutes and just went back to the terminal to catch my flight. A week later and I'm billed $73 to my Mastercard without a word. Called Loungekey and my bank and am getting the runaround from everyone. I was traveling with my brothers who are 16 and 17 they had us in a kids section where the food options were noticibly worse that the rest of the lounge. They were very rude in even letting them go to the restroom which required me to escort them thought adult area. Very strict for such a liberal country. read more
