Rob returned multiple times to check on us and to bring additional equipment. He made sure that the moisture meter results were in line with the standards until he presented his invoice for payment. He documented and explained his work. I'd send him to my older relatives, clueless about water remediation, in a heartbeat knowing that Rob would be honest and attentive. At no point did anyone from their team say they couldn't handle the job. When I got home after the first cleaning, it was obvious the rug still smelled strongly of cat urine, like nothing had been done at all. They sent another technician the next day, who admitted after a closer look that they likely couldn't clean the rug properly in the first place. That means they had multiple chances to be upfront and professional: when I booked, when they came the first time, and before they charged me. Instead, they wasted my time and money. When I asked for a refund for the rug cleaning, management refused. The manager even had the technician confirm on speakerphone that the rug wasn't properly cleaned--and still denied a full refund. They only offered $40 out of the $140 bill, then rudely said "take it or leave it," and when my husband pushed back, the manager said "then I'll give you nothing" and hung up. This company is both incompetent and rude. They clearly don't care about customer service or honesty. Do not hire Stanley Steemer unless you want your rug left dirty and your time wasted.

I never went thru anything like this before where I had to file a insurance claim. I called a friend who I know that went thru a similar situation and he referred me to Greg.
