Now six weeks later, the smell hasn't returned even during damp weather. In the past, when we've had problems with pet urine on carpeting, we've always ended up replacing the rug. They cleaned my area rugs on 2 floors, 2 sets of stairs divided with a landing on each, 2 area rugs, and a sofa and loveseat. Everything is so clean and there was no residual bad after-smell that I have been left with after several of the larger franchised carpet-cleaning companies have cleaned my carpets in the past. The first time I booked with this company, they deep cleaned my house, but in the process of cleaning my house they dropped a plant which is fine that's not really a big deal, but then they never said anything to me about it. They did clean around the area but as soon as I lifted the dog bed(where the plant fell), there was dirt all over the floor. Now that should've been my sign to never book with them again, but I decided to give them another chance. The second "deep clean", I felt like they could've done a better job, but the service was done and I just don't think it was worth it and I could have done the same job myself FOR FREE. The kitchen counters were still dirty, the house looked like they barely wiped down at all. This last time that I booked with them, I booked my appointment for 9 AM. I am going to insert screenshots of the response that I received from whoever is responsible for talking with customers. This was a very unprofessional way to respond despite them being late. They were 50 min late, there was no apology or thank you for your patience, nothing. I felt like it was extremely unprofessional, rude and I will never book with them again. I do not recommend this company, and the overall value and service is not worth the amount of money that they charge.

At no point did anyone from their team say they couldn't handle the job. When I got home after the first cleaning, it was obvious the rug still smelled strongly of cat urine, like nothing had been done at all. They sent another technician the next day, who admitted after a closer look that they likely couldn't clean the rug properly in the first place. That means they had multiple chances to be upfront and professional: when I booked, when they came the first time, and before they charged me. Instead, they wasted my time and money. When I asked for a refund for the rug cleaning, management refused. The manager even had the technician confirm on speakerphone that the rug wasn't properly cleaned--and still denied a full refund. They only offered $40 out of the $140 bill, then rudely said "take it or leave it," and when my husband pushed back, the manager said "then I'll give you nothing" and hung up. This company is both incompetent and rude. They clearly don't care about customer service or honesty. Do not hire Stanley Steemer unless you want your rug left dirty and your time wasted.

We paid for an extremely expensive deep cleaning, and the results were completely unacceptable. They sent four people to the house, yet upon inspection, large portions of the home were still dusty, dirty, and clearly ignored. Several surfaces were visibly covered in dust. This was not a deep clean by any definition. They removed trash from the cans but did not replace any trash bags, despite specifically asking us to provide them ahead of time. That alone shows a lack of attention to detail. Even more concerning, we completed their pre-cleaning form and explicitly requested extra care around the computers in our home. This request was completely ignored. The floors were over-mopped, causing water damage that short-circuited a computer, resulting in $150 out of pocket for a replacement part. After I raised these concerns, the company reached out and offered a partial refund, acknowledging there were issues. However, the refund was never issued, and they never followed up or contacted me again. This lack of accountability only added to an already frustrating experience. Between the missed areas, careless work, damage caused, and a refund that was promised but never delivered, their claims feel misleading at best and dishonest at worst. I am deeply disappointed and do not recommend this company to anyone, especially if you are considering a deep cleaning or have valuable items in your home.
