From the start it has been a significantly different and better experience than working with other agencies. They are large enough to truly have their act together, yet small enough to be incredibly personable and accessible. Their caring, responsiveness, flexibility and efficiency are truly fantastic. They get the big important things right: they ask smart questions and truly listen to your answers to try to find people ideally suited to your needs; they have a large pool of truly qualified people to draw from; they work really hard to have one caregiver cover as many of your requested shifts as possible even when it's a non-standard, changeable schedule; they don't pressure you for more hours than you need, nor pass you from one administrator to another every week; they don't artificially jack up prices when they hear desperation in your voice or shame and blame you when a caregiver doesn't fit your needs. They also get the secondary details right: they are always reachable, their response time is incredible, their nurse does an intake in the least obtrusive way possible and even then only when required by Maryland state law or the tasks involved, caregivers can login via an app that utilizes GPS for an efficient time card system, they can help with longterm care insurance reimbursement, and paying invoices is a snap online.
