While she sees my mom…read moreon a quarterly basis at her assisted living facility, she is the FIRST to identify problems that staff either don't notice or neglect, communicates effectively with detailed notes about my mom's health by phone and emails, and trouble shoots. She offers strategies and insightful recommendations and deep expertise to families that want their loved ones safe and to live with dignity. She is an ardent advocate for my mom and seniors like my mom. It is a huge blessing to have her as a part of our care team and navigate us through new care situations and challenges as my mom's dementia progress. Thank you, Andrea!

I was instantly comfortable with their management approach, their medical expertise, their wealth of information & resources, their creativity in solving problems, their generosity of time and senior product sourcing, and more. Most importantly, I was truly touched by all of the heart that went into not only meeting my dad, assessing his needs, detailing and implementing some very creative medical and home comfort solutions, and making a very difficult path in life eased by support and compassion at every step. My wonderful dad, who wanted anything BUT around the clock care, was very skeptical at first, and assured us all that he didn't need any help. By the end, he was calling his aide "his buddy," was telling jokes and showing extreme gratitude to the whole team, and not only accepted his need for help, but realized he was getting the best help possible. Also - they literally meet you where you are in the process. I'm super organized and made my own spreadsheets for tracking medicines & daily routines, but Andrea provided invaluable guidance on how to optimize Dad's care from every possible angle. Steve did a home safety inspection before Dad came home to ensure Dad was safe at home. They did so much for us... I cannot recommend Medical Consulting & Management highly enough. Don't wait to call; don't bother researching competitors; there's no one like them in town. Trust me, I did the research; I have the spreadsheets to prove it; I would call them in an instant if I ever needed help for a loved one.

I help as much as I can but I feel overwhelmed with pretty much taking care of two households. Nurse Next Door has been a Godsend for me and specially for my son. The nurse was very patient and knowledgeable. Mr. Ernie who arranged and choose the nurse who will be a better fit for my son also made me feel at peace. It's hard enough to deal with a live one in cases like this. Nurse Next Door, makes everything manageable.

We hired them earlier this year and went through 3 caregivers in 3 months, finally deciding to terminate the agency after the last caregiver quit their agency because they weren't giving her enough hours (which they tried to pin on us). They have a major employee retention problem and I do not believe they properly vet their employees before hiring them (i.e. no background check, in-person meetings or calling references before they send them to clients' homes). We dealt with significant difficulties, including: (1) inexperienced and unprofessional caregivers; (2) caregivers showing up late for shifts or not showing up for shifts at all; (3) unprofessional administrative staff who are terrible communicators -- one would call both caregivers and clients multiple times in a day without leaving voice-mails and when I decided to terminate after citing problems with their agency he sent me a response that he thought their agency was "perfect"; and (4) the agency's inability to find coverage for shifts or replacement caregivers when there's an issue.
