Avoid using this Property Management company. They have poor management skills and provide inadequate service.

Watch your bank accounts. You'll lose money with checks going to unperformed services. They are a scam.

To say that the statements above are half-truths would be an understatement. Aside from the fact…read morethat I am often busy and occasionally have to reschedule appointments, those are essentially a concocted collection of twisted and distorted falsehoods. Moreover, I possess records of the aforementioned work orders and emails, all authenticated and time-stamped by Google's servers. In addition, the majority of the work orders and requests in question did not even require my presence. Furthermore, many of these requests were submitted a long time ago, a fact that can be readily proven and demonstrated. In the preceding 12 months or so, only in one single occasion, I was contacted via phone by the management firm. That phone call took place due to the fact that management firm had a question regarding an unknown vehicle parked near my unit. The allegation regarding the door jamb is particularly ludicrous. The vendor contacted me only once and never responded to my subsequent emails. Moreover, the vendor (Able Roofing) eventually only contacted me once I posted a review of my experience with them on Yelp (by the way, that review is up on Yelp; anyone can verify it) -- previously, they simply did not respond my emails. Therefore, the management firm ('The Twenty Seven Group') did absolutely nothing to do address the situation. Subsequently the vendor stated that he went to the property and, while speaking with me by phone, indicated that my presence was not necessary. He further stated that he would have his team properly repair the door jamb; however, that the vendor never contacted me again. By the way, my recollection of events are also backed by the fact all my phone calls are recorded.

This is the most unprofessional and unorganized property management group I have ever come across. I had an issue that should have been discovered and fixed proactively, result in damage to my property. It took almost a year to get ahold of someone to attempt to rectify the situation and now over 1 year later it still is not resolved. Additionally, this individual has been incredible rude and condescending throughout the entire process.

There were some fixes needed during our stay. The management and maintenance team responded to our requests in a very timely manner. For example, There were two ceiling fans that makes weird squeaking noises in the house. After we reported the issue they immediately contacted the property owner and brought two brand new fans for installation. No hassle, no extra charge, no back and forth arguments. We are very glad that we chose this company instead of renting from a private landlord. I think they are very professional and have a high quality of customer service.

The house was advertised to be noise-proof but I can hear the neighbor's conversations. Not to mention the sounds of their dog walking around the house. It's not the neighbor's fault-- they are just living their lives. But wow, I have lived under at least 5 different housing management teams before and it has never been this bad. Maintenance requests do not get done until couple months later, and even if they come over to fix the said problem, I can't tell that it was properly fixed. I honestly can not WAIT until I can move out of this house. EDIT: Bijan (the landlord) and I had a conversation. We came to the consensus that there was quite a bit of miscommunication on both sides of the party. Bijan definitely cares about the tenants' well-being. Once a distinct & straight-forward maintenance system is placed, I have no problems with this management company.

As a parent I had to think quick and come up with a resolution. So, I said ok son we have to look for an apartment off campus. He said that several of his friends were freaking out and that they felt lost as they also received similar emails. Give me a second so I can search the web for living arrangements I told him. So many places, so many five bedroom, four bedrooms.... I was lost myself. That was until I came upon offcampus.Osu.edu. The first place that I saw within our budget I clicked on and immediately saw from the drop down menu "parents". Clicked on it, read the passage, and honestly teared up when reading it because I said my husband and I need a place like this for our son. They had a slogan and it read "who you rent from matters more than where you live". And those words spoke to my heart and said "Home". I reached out to "Venice Properties" and spoke to, Anna. She was kind, thorough, and after me making multiple calls she remained responsive, and truly dedicated to her craft of initiating care, support, and understanding. On this day! Today! My husband and our son filled out the applications and on this evening, today! Were approved. I don't say this lightly but Anna again and again thank you as who we communicate with during a busy day also matters. And Anna took care of all our needs and we are thrilled to meet her in person and work with her for the duration of our son's first apartment endeavor. Huge shoutout to Anna and Venice Properties.

We lived at Drayton Park Ct for one year, during which new management under Anna Dauer took over…read more First of all, this property is highly overpriced at $2,695 plus a dog fee, especially considering there are absolutely no amenities. No pool, no gym, no community space. Nothing that justifies the price. Unfortunately, Anna was the worst part of living here, and dealing with her was consistently frustrating. When we decided to move, she was showing our apartment while we were out of town; we had a dog sitter staying with our dog. We asked her to simply let the dog sitter know when she would be showing the apartment so they could be prepared to keep the dog secured and ensure everyone's safety. She refused to do so. I genuinely don't understand why something so simple had to be made so difficult. We also accidentally paid our rent twice one month due to a miscommunication. Instead of returning the duplicate payment, she kept the money and applied it to the following month. While that may technically be convenient for management, the rent here is extremely expensive, and we could have absolutely used that money sooner rather than having it tied up for the next month's rent. The plumbing is also horrendous. Our sinks and tubs constantly had drainage issues. We only lived there for one year, are minimalists, and kept the apartment in pristine condition. Despite this, they still took approximately $1,000 from our security deposit. There are so many more affordable options in the area with better amenities and, in my experience, better management. If you can avoid dealing with Anna, do your best to do so and save yourself the headache.

I'm sure they have a few folks living large but it sure isn't their residents. Shame-shame. It appears that the company's only concern is their new ventures, not maintaining what they have. Their apartment communities need so much work that if they actually did right by them they probably couldn't afford a new project. Exactly what is wrong with corporate America, not the large corporations but the small Crawford-Hoying type of glorified slum-lords with seemingly no integrity. Now, on the flip side, I can't speak about Crawford-Hoying Real Estate because I have never used them. Hopefully they do better work than the property management side.

The wrong answer is to come home off of active duty to an eviction notice, when they were alerted 30 days prior and were given a copy of my orders, I can tell you that much. And then when I furiously addressed the matter, they lied to my face. Redefines unprofessional and careless behavior towards uniformed service members. I would never recommend one of Crawford Hoying's locations to ANYONE, especially someone in the military because I would never want anyone to have to return home to an eviction notice.
