I can't remember the last time I felt so completely heard and understood. And she even shared a private story from her life that let me know she truly understood what I was telling her about. They have hours into the evenings on some days & are open on Saturdays, which is helpful when I need to go in and get my monthly injections. Dr. Szpindor is an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly physician who really takes the time to sit down and talk with her patients. The whole staff truly take an interest in each of their patients. Dr. Szpindor is also well-versed in nutrition.

I took him to Lake Forest Hospital ER and the staff there was amazing. They tried their hardest to get us out in time to still see his sister graduate but his appendix did not cooperate and he ended up having to have an appendectomy. The staff there were awesome in helping us get him transferred to the main hospital and get him in to surgery. The ER doctor was really nice and the nursing staff was too along with the CT tech there that Friday the 19th of June. Kudos to your ER staff for helping these out-of-towners out!!! She also never introduced herself, which I found very unprofessional. I quickly made sure she was not assigned to my mother's room again. This is a hospital, and patients and their families are already dealing with enough. If you don't like the job you're in, PLEASE LEAVE. Don't take your frustration out on patients or their families. I truly appreciate all of the staff members who treated my mother with kindness and compassion, but experiences like this are unacceptable and can really affect a family's trust in the care being provided.
