Most people must do their banking inside because the parking lot is always full and it's a tiny lot, to boot. It sits right on the weird intersection of 95th street, National Ave. and Lincoln Ave., and you can only access the lot by turning south onto 95th, or heading east on National. This is the worst bank I've ever worked with in my 50 years. I regret ever doing business with…read morethem. I took out a second mortgage HELOC with them on the recommendation of a real estate friend, based on their rates. Their communication is terrible, their policies make even the simplest activities miserably difficult, and their fees are ridiculous. I could relay many stories of the crazy difficulties I had with them, but my last transaction with them sums it up well. Sick of dealing with them I saved up to pay off the loan. First their customer service said I had to wire money to my savings account and then transfer to the loan balance to pay it off. When I pointed out that made no sense and that I'd been making direct payments against the loan for years they said they had to "research" how to pay off the loan. WTF? Finally they emailed me wire instructions which included $49 in fees they would charge including a "satisfaction fee", a "acceptance fee" to receive money from me, and a "recording fee." They literally made me pay them in order to be allowed to pay off my loan! Greedy, confusing and frustrating sum up Summit Credit Union.
