She doesn't push meds on you, etc. The front desk/ physicians assistant (?) are generally nice people, though it is a bit of a revolving door. The office is small. It is only one Dr. Cons: I've waited for 2+ hours past my appointment time without so much as an apology. Dr is a bit unprofessional. For example, I've mentioned I have hydranetis suppurativa and she said, "Why? You not hairy!" She didn't know that or not- but even if I am- that has nothing to do with it. It's auto immune disorder. She's almost made comments like, "Oh, your weight went up! Every year your weight goes up" and giggled about it. Very strange. A while back I asked her opinion on medical marijuana or CBD oil and she said "Oh people just want to get high". There are thousands of professional papers written that refute this. Dr does not remember you (which is fine), but doesn't even seem to review her notes. Every year I had to repeat my entire medical history and it was extremely annoying. She'd write it all down and then next year it was like, I know nothing about your medical history, let's start all over again. When you go for yearly checkup, she won't tell you your results for your bloodwork unless you physically go in the office and pay a copayment. Thankfully labs email you your results. That's about all I have for now. She's not horrible, but not the greatest. I'm still on my quest for finding good doctors in south Florida. It is no easy feat.

After months of being seen by them (Since July 2023) I was not made aware by anyone that my insurance had a limit for sonograms during my pregnancy. The day of my follow up appointment, I was contacted by the receptionist and was told that I would have to pay out of pocket to be seen. Unfortunately, at this point I'm 7.5 months pregnant and am not working, therefore paying out of pocket was not an option for me. I contacted my health insurance and they told me that if the doctors office sent over an authorization, that they could cover the remaining sonogram costs. I communicated this to Signature and have basically been playing the middle man to get the authorization approved for 2 weeks. Originally, I was told by signature that they have had past issues with other patients in which Medicaid did not end up paying for the sonograms. I am an adult and I understand that they must get paid for their time and labor somehow, as I do not expect anything to be free... my main issue is that I could already tell that they would make it difficult for the authorization process to work with my insurance. I immediately felt a lack of care as a patient upon being told about the past issues with Medicaid patients. It has been over a month that I have received a sonogram or have been attended by signature, and while playing middle man with my insurance and their office to try to speed things up, I ask for them to do a "peer to peer" phone call with my insurance which is where the doctor verbally explains the situation to a nurse as to why the authorization is necessary for my high risk pregnancy so that it can be approved quicker. As this process can be a bit daunting and time consuming, Signature has been slowly giving up on me as a high risk patient and have finally advised me that they will no longer attempt to deal with my insurance or try to finalize the authorization process. Signature called me today and provided me with 2 other doctors office phone numbers for me to seek treatment elsewhere, instead of signature trying to help me figure out the insurance issue in order for me to continue being seen by them up until I'm 38 weeks pregnant (AGAIN, I am 31 weeks pregnant currently) I am literally 7 weeks away from giving birth to my twins, and Signature has just decided to no longer deal with me due to insurance issues and lacking communication with the insurance. As a mother, I would love to just pay out of pocket for my remaining sonograms, but the lack of empathy and understanding from this office has left me: 1. Worried for me and my babies health. 2. Frustrated at the fact that I'm 31 weeks and have to start from ground zero to find high risk care for my babies and self. 3. Saddened to not be able to confirm the health of my babies at this point in my pregnancy. 4. Feeling discarded as a mother/human by a provider who lacked attention for their patient of over 3 months. I understand that it is not the easiest type of situation to deal with when it comes to finances, but as a doctors office whom "values" their patients, I would've expected a little more enthusiasm on trying to work together as a team with the patient to figure out the insurance issue instead of just giving up on me and sending me elsewhere. I'm just truly disappointed in the outcome of my experience at Signature perinatal with Dr. Sasha Davidson. I truly thought that she would be more understanding and would have a little more patience and tolerance with a high risk pregnancy patient. I am extremely dissatisfied with their service. I am not even the type to leave reviews but at this point I feel as if they are playing with my babies lives and I just feel utterly downright disrespected. To those with Medicaid, I would advise to confirm your sonogram limit, if any, prior to being seen here. I would also try to seek out a doctors office who actually cares about health more than money... ‍

You either write a check and mail it, go to the office to make a payment or be consistent like me and call in on three different occasion before you get someone to answer. They are good at sending you a bill stating you're 60 days behind. But your calls go unanswered to the answering machine. By the way, the billing don't return your call. The department is lucky they didn't receive a one (1) because I really like Dr Sonnenblick and have with her for over two (2) decades. The billing system needs updating. it's 2025!

The first sign I was going to have a good experience was when they scheduled me for a Saturday appointment, which doctors do that these days? I arrived for my appointment and there was just one other person in the waiting room. I was called up by the nurse within 5 minutes and she was very nice and willing to listen to my problems. She also let me know what to expect during my visit which was refreshing. After the nurse left it only took about 5 more minutes before Dr. McDonald was in to see me. She was actually interested in me and seemed like she genuinely wanted to help. After her examination I had to do some home work and provide the office with mt most recent lab results so when I got back home I sent my lab work to them. Naturally I was thinking I'd get a call back from their office or I might have to follow up myself to make sure there was follow through. Nope! The office took care of the next steps without any prompting from me. I was surprised and shocked! What a fantastic experience with a health care provider here in South Florida. We made an appointment early in the morning. Then we did some paperwork and made the payment for the operation before it began. I'd say the onboarding process took less than 10 minutes. Then we get to sit down in the waiting area for them to call my wife in. The waiting area is pretty ordinary. It has a TV in the middle of the room. The chairs weren't very comfortable, I wish there were some sofas and recliners. There is a coffee area which really helped to keep me awake. Then they brought us into an area to get my wife prepped for the procedure. The room looked very clean and organized with lots of modern looking medical equipment. The nurse came and did some tests before the doctors came in to go over the procedure being performed today. After the procedure, my wife was brought to the recovery area before getting my wife ready to go home. Throughout the whole day I felt my day my wife was in good hands as the nurses and doctors were very professional. But let's hope we never have to come back again for anything else.

She was visible confused and angry, huffing and puffing the entire time, as though we are bothering her by asking questions before confirming. When dealing with an inquiry for medical services, patients rely on their insurance carrier and and medical teams to guide them, and should not need to deal with disrespect and confusion in their time of need. While the facility was clean and well maintained, I would not recommend scheduling services here due to the billing.
