Geico, the overall company, I am a little leary of. If you crash, It's called an accident, not an on purpose. So be sure to know exactly what you are signing up for and what your policy entails. Something like Car rental coverage is an option. Choose it or not, you're going to want that if you happen to have an accident, even if its not your fault. Geico will not cover car rentals without it... Stay away from the roadside assistance. 10-15 years ago I had it and when I was looking for different insurance, other places said I had a lot of driving "incidents" on my record. Found out these "incidents" were my roadside assistance calls like flat tire or locking my keys in the car. That was Geico the company, not this office. A clean driving record will get you a great rate here! I like that they don't punish the good driver's. As with any accident, your rates will go up. Also Other insurance companies bundle the good and bad driver's of an area to determine rates and come up with an average so you pay more because your neighbor is a bad driver lol. They also offer other types of insurance Like home and renters insurance. They also give bundle discounts! Even after you sign up, get the app, read over your policy and make adjustments as needed. Sometimes they offer so many options that it can be overwhelming. Whether you like the company or not, this office is great! The people that work in the individual offices are knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately, the state of Connecticut makes it difficult to get some of the discounts that other parts of the country are entitled to, and therefore our premiums are higher than they should be.

In the meetings, management would tell everyone how much money they made, and how many vacations you could go on and how many businesses they would go to to sell their employees insurance. I have been gone from there for over a year and they sent me a charge back for $267.17 When I complained to them, they said, if I would have stayed they would take it out of my check weekly. The management team did nothing to help one succeed. If you are thinking are thinking about going to work there, Don't! It is a 1099, no salary, and no reinbursement for your expenses or gas. Companies are required to pay a minimum wage even though it is a commission job. That is why Aflac does the 1099. Think long and hard before taking a job there.
