This office will charge you for everything! If the doctor ask a couple of questions during your annual exam then you will be charge as a regular doctor visit. I had an appointment today with Dr. Cubas at Associates MD in Davie. I look forward to going there. The ladies in the front Sherise and Ali work well with my needs. The medical assistant Jose was awesome today. I had to call up a couple of times after I had left to update a prescription and he followed through returned my phone call I was very pleased. Doctor Cubas was very pleased that my new blood test showed an improvement to a condition that we were both fearful of. He was very compassionate. And Nichole was great too she set me up with my next appointment including blood test results. They all go the extra mile which is great because I'm old school. Keep up the good work! read more

The service I received at the Davie location was phenomenal. Davie is open Saturdays and relatively slow. The Medical Assistant , Kimberly went above and beyond to help me get the Physical Form I needed for college completed after being turned away from Plantation office the day before. Avoid the Plantation office like the plaque. I was only going to Plantation because of the quality of care I received from the PA Jeff. But the inept office staff is too much of a headache to deal with. read more

I have been a patient under Dr. Cubas since mid-late January of 2016. The most attractive aspect of this private practice was their offering a Saturday schedule. The first several visits were pretty decent. Not too long ago I went in due to some kind of bacterial infection in which the doctor really seemed confused or not knowing what to do. I started to ask if I had strep. throat, he said "maybe," I asked if we could do a test, he said "I suppose," he was unable to do the test because he forgot how to do it, he ended up asking the medical assistant to step in. Overall, my experiences have worsened; the biggest example I can provide are the refills for my prescriptions that are treating chronic issues that constantly run out before my next appointment. I have called in several times only to be told that my doctor isn't in during the week and therefore they are unable to authorize the pharmacy to refill my prescriptions already on file. They asked me to come in during the week. My most recent office visit was the tipping point. Evidently, right before I became a new patient, they had been traditionally seeing patients in their Davie location but since moved their Saturday appointments to their Plantation location on a temporary basis. My entire time with them has consisted of visiting them in Plantation. I showed up 15 minutes early at the Plantation location only to go inside and to find the lights were off and the doors were locked. After calling their answering service (who are horrible people and unprofessional), they had an on-call doctor call me to let me know they have since moved their Saturday visits back to the Davie location. No one EVER informed me of this change prior to my visit today. Accordingly, I ended up showing up late by 18 minutes to the Davie location because of this miscommunication on their end. As if this problem wasn't enough, I finally showed up to the Davie location and asked to speak with their practice manager to address these grievances, the front desk lady was completely lacking empathy towards the situation, she didn't care, but most importantly, she was condescending and displaced the blame onto their answering service who deals with calling patients about future appointments. I ultimately told her that your answering service is a reflection of your business. If this is "okay" behavior for the answering service you contract with, by logic, this is acceptable behavior for you. She later handed me the card to their operations manager whom I spoke with immediately as I waited over an hour to see my doctor. She apologized for these issues (at least that's a good first start). Moving forward, I waited and waited for over an hour while I can hear Dr. Cubas and the staff talking about lunch and hamburgers; I just wanted to fill my medications and to have a quick checkup. During my brief 5 minutes with Dr. Cubas, he tried to tell me that he can't authorize refills on Temezepam because it's a controlled substance. I am VERY familiar with pharmacy law as my husband is a pharmacist. I know for a fact that schedule 3-5 substances can have a maximum refill of 5, schedule 2 substance require a doctor's visit prior to refilling. Temezepam is a schedule 3 drug for those who don't know this. After mentioning this to him, he proceeded in a very unprofessional manner to say "well, I suppose I will give you 5 refills and if I get fired, oh well." To me...for a man of incredible background to say this, I was taken aback, I felt both sorrow for how he chose to handle this situation but also insulted because his excuses are purely dictated to him by business standards. Many of the excuses he provided as to why he couldn't provide me refills for Temezepam were strictly business related (e.g. I need to see you before I can authorize a refill). Lastly, as I checked out, the front desk lady confirmed I was good to go, I even asked her if I needed to wait for anything or if they were faxing over my prescriptions; she confirmed I could leave. I was almost home by the time I got a call for them telling me I needed to come back to pick up my Rx for Temezepam. At that point, I wasn't sure how to respond seeing how I just asked if I was good to go. I asked if they could just call in the refill since I already had my medications on file, she said "because it's a controlled substance, we can't." Afterwards, she said she would call me back. I immediately called CVS to confirm with the pharmacist that it was in fact okay for them to call in this refill. I found out they ended up calling just 2 minutes before I called CVS to authorize the refill. It's amazing at how this practice lacks competent people and stand behind generalized phrases like "it's a controlled substance." You might think your patients you treat are stupid, but you have some such as myself who are well educated and know the law and who will use the law when business practices become unethical or irresponsible. read more

As soon as David picked up the phone at this office, I felt a sigh of relief. He was kind, compassionate, and helped me to get an appointment very soon. He is extremely well qualified and up on the latest advances in cardiology. His network of associated physicians is second to none if other treatment is required. The worst service ever. It's amazing how in the Davie office they can play the game to answer your phone call, make you wait more than 10 or 15 minutes, and then hung up. I have lost work to make appointments, waiting for referrals that take so much time. My arm is hurt and because of them, I had to reschedule my appointment because the referral department is incompetent. read more

I have to tell you that not many doctors impress me, but I have to tell you a little story about Dr. David Olinsky and his staff. I have had horrible pain in the 2nd toe on my left foot for probably 30-40 years. I had gone to two different podiatrists to have it looked at. One said that I needed a cortisone shot, the other said there was nothing they could do as they did not see anything wrong with it. Since I went to two doctors and nobody could seem to fix my issue, I just lived with the pain for all of these years. My pain was getting out of control so I figured, let me try one more doctor. I called and made an appointment with Dr. David Olinsky. From the receptionist who is absolutely the nicest and friendliest gal ever (Sherece) to Dr. Olinksy's assistant Dana Reed who was extremely helpful in getting me coordinated for my surgery, to Dr. Olinsky who I cannot say enough about. Not only does this man have magical hands (Did a great job on my surgery) but his bedside manner and how he deals with his patients is nothing less than amazing. I would recommend him along with his staff to anybody at any time. read more

Insurance and myself was billed for over $3,000 for a simple physical with lab work. They tried to get me to pay copay for a wellness visit that is 100% covered by my insurance. I made a new patient appointment so I could find a new primary physician. The doctor decided to call out of work on the day of my appointment. I understand the office can't control when doctors decide to work, and doctors are people too and are allowed to have things that come up in life. However, the office didn't even attempt to notify me. Stay away!! The doctors are excellent, but the problem is you have to go through the administration in order to see them, and they are beyond chaotic. To begin, they lost my medical history file sent to them by my previous doctor. Every time I've needed a referral, it's been a nightmare. It's been over a month since I was supposed to have a follow up with my orthopedist. Still waiting for the referral, despite my calls and threats to escalate the problem. They drop the ball, don't follow up or complete the referral process, they lie and don't care that I have to reschedule over and over with the specialist. Several times, they've referred me to a specialist who doesn't even take my insurance or treat my medical issue. I've sent them lists of doctors that meet the needs, but they ignore my help. The office manager isn't much help either. I've also had to witness two desk clerks bickering in front of me... very uncomfortable. I'm ready to look for a different medical team. read more

HORRIBLE group that will clearly be getting sued for malpractice at any minute. 1. There is no way to reach your actual doctors office, there is one mail number that is only answered if you are making an appt. If you leave a message on any other line(rx, lab results, etc) they simply never call you back. 2. They never call you with your lab results. I came in so sick on a Friday that the DR. said I may end up in the hospital by Monday. I was told to return Monday if I was not in the hospital which I did. I was then lied to and told my appt was the following Monday because the staff forgot to put my appt in the system. I was sent to another location to get the ultrasound I was to receive ASAP. 3. ONE MONTH later, still dizzy and nauseous, with no test results, no return call and not knowing whats wrong with me, I decided to stop taking one of my meds. I later found out that my doctor had DOUBLED my rx without telling me,, which had resulted in dangerously low BP, a loss of one moth of work and beginning kidney failure. I love my Physician, However, trying to reach this office is IMPOSSIBLE with Zero accountability. I have been trying for 2 weeks to get my medication refilled right up to contacting the "office manager" who could not even give me her full name "Jackie F as in Frank" - I asked for her full name and she wouldn't give it to me - how unprofessional is that! hen I first stated going to AssociatesMD, I was thrilled. I found Dr Seinfeld to be not only personable, but a very good doctor. She was extremely thorough and never made me feel rushed. And she did pick up on something that no other Dr has, and I averted what could have become a very serious thing. The more I saw her the more I trusted her. The problem has never been with her, but the staff is totally incompetent. The practice has 5 doctors and only one person doing referrals. I can't count the number of times I have requested a referral (2 weeks in advance), only to arrive at the Dr and find that they have not received it. If I have a question for the doctor I leave a message with the doctors assistant. I have never received a return call. If I have a blood test, no one ever calls me with the results....I have to call to find out. And you always have to wait. I left the practice for 5 months because of the staff. However, I found out after trying 3 Primary doctors, that, though the staff may be better, the doctors were worse. So I came back. Now when I hit a problem I call and ask to speak to a Manager, who is in administration, and enlist their help. It works! read more
