Harry and Jaime came over the same day we reached out to them. Harry talked us through all the details of the materials and workmanship that goes into a great long-lasting roof and gave us a primer on how to compare roofing bids. Jaime inspected our old roof and explained his observations on the current condition, no major leaks but slow seeping typical of a roof at the very end of its useful life. They turned around a detailed quote very quickly and encouraged us to take our time to shop around and get in touch when we were ready. We got bids from about 6 different companies and these guys had the best value. We appreciated that they didn't require any down payment in advance, they warranty their work for 10+ years, and they had the best price for the quality of materials we were looking for. They completed our roof in 1 day! It was fun to watch their perfectly coordinated teamwork and attention to detail. The final cost came close to the estimates due to replacement of a few plywood. The only thing I was not very satisfied was that nobody contacted us when they changed the forecast date on our roofing project. I had to call the day before to find out they had to push the forecast date. However they did contacted us a few days before the new forecast date to confirm the start time of the project after talking to the staff.

What was different? The quote had attention to every detail and included higher quality materials, better design and superior workmanship. Also the quality of the service was exceptional- communication with the team and among the team was flawless. Our roof was mainly asphalt with a PVC section and needed plywood to be added on top of the old ship lap. It also needed venting - which can be tricky- especially providing intakes on a 1940s house. All this was included in the quote. They had no problem adding 2 skylights with no upcharge-save the cost of the skylights themselves. The team is up to date and educated on the latest advances and details of techniques. I am so thankful to have found Three Tree. I have worked with contractors extensively on two old properties over 20 years, and Three Tree was probably the best. Prior to hiring them I talked with my former roofer - who now only does very high end work(John Michael Roofing). He has seen many roofs and said Three Tree does good quality work. He also advised me to beware in hiring a roofer as there are many pitfalls. With that advice I proceeded with more caution than I would have otherwise!

We got a roof replacement quote from one company with the cheapest option being $22,000. We wanted multiple quotes so, after looking at Yelp reviews, we contacted Cornerstone Roofing. Mike (from Cornerstone) came today to give us a quote. After getting up on the roof, he came down and let us know that our roof looks great and does not need to be replaced. He explained what materials he saw that showed it was a newer roof and listed all the features that were put in when it was replaced. He gave us the name of the shingle company and let us know we probably still had a warranty through them. He even followed up after he came, saying he looked up satellite images and the roof was probably replaced in 2016/2017. I had already contacted the shingle company to ask about the warranty and, Mike was right, the roof had been replaced in 2016. We now have a warranty we can use if an issue with our roof comes up and we know that we do not need to replace our roof for many years. Mike saved us a minimum of $22,000. I can't speak to the quality of Cornerstone Roofing's work (only because we didn't end up needing it) but I can speak to the honesty, integrity and knowledge of their employees.

It has been a month since they completed it, and even after talking to the head of the project about coming to clean up the property, no one has showed up, so their extra supplies, nails, etc. are just sitting outside of our house. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS TO ANYONE.
