We were in need of a roof inspection and gutter cleaning. We had originally tried to reach another vendor through Yelp but after an initial response we never heard from them again. I sent two messages through Yelp and even an email from their website. Too bad. Luckily Eastside Roofing was one of the other companies that Yelp contacted for us. And they didn't disappoint. I never leave reviews but this was such a great experience I wanted to follow up. We were leaving town for the holidays when I noticed water dumping over the gutter on the side of the house - clearly a clogged gutter/downspout. Unfortunately I didn't have time to address it then, as we were on our way to the airport, and would be out of town for almost 2 weeks. Being a Saturday, and leading into Christmas week, I figured we were out of luck. Coordinating this from out of town later, on a Saturday afternoon, I started throwing darts at Yelp. I initially contacted Alpine Roofing, and the owner was honest and told me he wouldn't be able to get to us until January. He did however recommend Eastside. I sent a message via the Yelp app and Robert responded almost immediately. We ended up talking for a few minutes so I could explain the issue. My main concern was that I wouldn't be home for a few weeks to see that the work had been done. Also it would be difficult to tell what had been done since it's a 3 story house and I have no way to access the roof. Not to worry. Robert assured me they would provide before/after pics and could be there the next day by 10am. Yes, next day service by 10am on a Sunday. I was blown away. Especially during covid times that is simply unheard of. As promised a truck pulled up around 10am (thanks Ring doorbell) and was there for 4+ hours. They ended up hauling 6 bags of debris off the flat roof. On time, professional and friendly. Go with these guys. You won't be disappointed. The pics say it all. read more

What a great company. I had obtained several roofing bids and Eastside was very competitiv, not the least expensive, but I felt really good about their communications and their reviews were good. They were true to their word, put on a new roof, which required every sheet of underpayment to be replaced (I anticipated this because of an inspection I had done after receiving bids), but it was unexpected for Eastside roofing. Their work was finished exactly as promised, great communication as to what needed to be done, and the bill was to the penny what I had calculated from their bid, even though it was $9,000 more (the plywood replacement). I was in contact with another gutter business in the area, got told they would be coming and they ended up being a no show on the day they told us we were scheduled for. So I tried Eastside roofing, got a response in less than 20 minutes and they showed up the exact same day for the initial consultation. They told us it would be okay to just repair some spots but we wanted to do a whole replacement anyways. I appreciated the honesty because sometimes you get people trying to convince you to spend more money than you need to but not these guys. They gave us an exact price, had someone come do it, and charged us exactly what they quoted us for. During the process all of our questions and concerns were answered. We had a concern later and they promptly showed up to see what the issue was and did a fix for it.
