Sales person came out for review to make an assessment on what would be involved. In the conversation they offered to clean the roof, I told them there's a lot of moss up there and they said they could easily do that. Oh they cleaned something, just not the whole roof. They got the entire north side of my house covered in caked on globs of dirt. This included everything around there like my A/C exterior fan unit, my trash bins, my shed, my storage lockers and my deck boxes. They left a hose, my hose, on the roof and running all night long until my wife spotted it the next morning. My front hose was also used, I know this because instant of rolling it back up using the roll they just left it all piled up at the corner of my house. Now told them about this, and the person who responds just always says they'll get in touch with their "experts" and let me know. Eventually they came back to finish cleaning the roof and clean up the mess on the side of the house. They came and went then I got home and checked, looked like they took about two seconds to clean some of the side but ran off to their next project. It was in no way clean or even in the condition it was in prior to their work. As for the roof being cleaned and moss control applied, I can't get all the way up on the 2nd floor roof to know but my HVAC company came out to do some other work related to "Smokey cedar smell in air ducts, & they climbed up to the 2x!: floor and took photos. There was no moss control applied on the 2nd floor roof and miss was growing everywhere on the west back side, yes this was the very next day after M&H came. Cleaning and moss control were services we agreed M&H would do.m, but they clearly didn't yet still charged me for it. Oh and that donkey cedar smell? Sawdust in the HVAC exhaust line from roof & vent repairs. So basically the roofing company offered a series of services they never fully executed. I had to hire a different company to complete the gutter work and re-clean the lower & upper roofs and apply moss control up on the 2nd roof. Then I had to clean out my HVAC vents, and I had to wash and scrub the exterior of my house. How are they still in business is beyond me.

They provided several choices, each of which gave me the best value for my dollars. They worked with me through some scheduling changes so that I could watch the roof go on. What is underneath is really more important than the shingles that went on top. The crew was professional and efficient, and really nice guys to boot. They worked long hours to get it done quickly and cleaned up each night. I told Cameron that I wanted to be around in 50 years to check up on their warranty. He said the roof would be there.

Looking at it from the attic he could see some roofing nails. All the other 3 companies I had give an estimate said the same thing. My house is 62 years old and is very solidly built. When he did the bid he included 3 sheets of plywood just in case. He did not want to include all the sheets in case it did not need it but said that any additional sheets would be billed at an additional cost. If it was needed, it would take 50 sheets to cover the entire roof. I planned on needing the 50 sheets, so I added that cost to his bid and went with them. When it was all done, he said that it was 58 sheets (which I question, all the other companies I had give me an estimate said it would be 50 sheets). He did not give me the credit for the 3 sheets he added to the bid, saying they were in addition to the extra ones. Needless to say, it cost more than the bid. I would say watch what they are doing and take note of the supplies. The work looks good, except the flashing on the chimney. After not hearing back from them about it, I am having another company come and fix it. I don't really trust them to do it correctly. Only go with them if you want to pay more than they quote.

They were not properly installed, i paid someone to reinstall them and paid that guy $300. The initial install was approx $850. S&S refunded me the $300. I also had S&S to my house to help me figure out why my roof was emitting a noise 24x7. One worker came and actually pulled up a sheet of shingles. The roofer from hell did not secure the shingles properly and did not go to the edge of my soffit so i now have water in my bedroom and living room walls. I was told by Andrew of S&S that any noise would be a problem in my beams, not the roof. Thats a lie. I googled why my roof makes noise and apparently lack of or usi g short nails can cause the roof to emit noises. Bottom line? I may have to reroof my house. The roofer from hell got me for $18k. Well folks S&S hired the roofer from hell. Their person who answers the phone told me Ite could be constrrued as me harassing the roofer by calling his placeq of work. I had to remind her, IM YOUR CUSTOMER!! BOTTOM LINE . Do not let their roofer who has several names get on your roof. He was Christian Esteban when he took 3 months to roof my house.
