Having had a disappointing experience at another car care centre the week prior which was taking more than eight days to replace my windshield, I figured there'd be a wait at Speers Auto Glass too. They can do it outside as long as its not raining. I was given a timeslot on a Saturday from 1:30pm to 3pm. "Phil" the technician was great. He called me 30 minutes before he arrived (called at 1:00pm) and arrived on time. He does a check with you around your car looking for any pre-damage and then gets right to work. As for the price. When you call the number, 905 876-4785, you get routed to a call center. The first price was super high, but you are able to haggle a bit on the price. I had two cars being done. (A Toyota Matrix and a Kia Rhondo). The initial quoted price for the Rhondo was $450 and in the end I ended up at $340. The Toyota ended up at $310. If I paid a few bux more than some other quoted prices around town, I am ok with it. The service and workmanship was excellent. I would use them again without hesitation. Just call around for prices before you call the call center.

When I went back to get it removed, these two guys went out and one of them removed it with a fingernail. They then laughed at me because I didnt know that you could do that. How the hell was I supposed to know that the gel solution THAT BONDS TO GLASS wasn't going to stick to the paint and damage my paint.
